So the other day I posted that I was gonna meet up with an old flame. We had a beautiful room king size bed and a resort had a great time. And we drank a lot. At Bedtime I was still a little bit iffy I told her we don't have to do anything if you don't want to I don't want to pressure you. On the contrary she was ready. she had lube and toys. Like a nerd I had bought a 30 pack of condoms. Anyways we had a great time. I lasted a long time , maybe the alcohol slowed me down a little bit. Different positions, the whole 9 yards

The point that I wanna share with you guys and some of you guys may have gone thru similar feelings... Is it did feel like a one night stand. After having relationship sex with the same woman for 20 years... There are advantages too Having intimacy within the bounds of relationship where you care for one another when it take care of eachothers needs because u loves each other. This is probably a goal for many of us to be in a relationship with good sexual chemistry.

So that was my adjustment for me. I am sure all of us will go thru thus transition at one point reflecting on going from relationship sex to casual sex and the feelings it brings, the new adjustments.

We had a good time. We haven't really talked but hoping it will be a friends w benefit thing. Neither of us is ready for a relationship.

Regardless what happens. It's a feeling relief finally got it out of the way. Will give me confidence for when I am ready to date in future.

Good bridge from being alone to a relationship one day. Also it's a feeling like yes , glad u did something good for yourself coming from a dark place.
