The second point is so freaking powerful. I was out with my friend at the mall a few months ago and to get out of our comfort zones I dropped down in the middle and started doing push-ups while he started yelling "ONE, TWO, THREE, etc). It was super nerve wracking leading up to it, but I had a shit-eating grin for the rest of the day and felt a high that gave me the IDGAF attitude to do stuff I've never done. Of course, the next day when I woke up I stayed within my comfort zone. My question i…

Thank you bro, those were some great pointers. I definitely agree that staying longer in the set so that they actually get to know me a bit better and trying to make plans in person would be a good idea to reduce flakes. Selectively approaching based on IOIs might be a bit of a challenge because I'm honestly pretty oblivious of them if I'm just walking down the street. Sometimes I'll be walking with a friend and he'll be like "yo she was looking at you when we walked by" and I'll be like "oh s…

Are there any resources or just tips in general on following up after the cold approach?

Personal tip: Get your eyebrows cleaned up. Doesn’t mean you get them shaped or made to look feminine, but in my case it made an instant effect. For me, it was just about threading the area around the eyebrow and between them. Girls eat well groomed eyebrows up and even dudes were asking me where I got them cleaned up. It’s one of those things that you don’t even realize hurts your appearance until you get it done(unless you have nice neat eyebrows naturally).

As someone who’s done a lot of cold approaches I can tell tell you chicks are flakey as fuck. Had a really solid interaction with this chick I cold approached at the mall on Friday afternoon and got her number. I texted her at night and she was like “oh finally :)” as if to say she was waiting for me to text her. I went straight to logistics and she gave me her schedule and said she was down to chill because I was cute. Tell her specific time and place to meet up and no response. That’s just one…

As someone who’s struggled at not giving a fuck, I realized I needed to face my fear head on. I was at a big mall and out of nowhere dropped down and started doing push-ups while my friend starting counting really loudly. Everyone had turned around to look and it was pretty embarrassing. After that moment, however, the approaches I made were easy as fuck. It was as if that moment gave me a high that gave me energy and made me stop giving a fuck. Instead of being in my head, I was able to approac…

I haven’t actually responded yet. I’m a busy guy so my response times are extremely erratic( I tell myself I’ll respond later and forget) so this isn’t out of the norm. Sometimes Ive respond within 10 minutes, other times I’ve just taken 12+ hours without realizing it

If she asked me to go out on a date say Wednesday and I already had plans with friends I wouldn’t ditch them for some chick I just met. Based on that line of thinking, why would she do the same for me?

Question for you, 18 years old. I’ve done enough cold approaches that I don’t have approach anxiety and generally have social skills to do well in small talk, but when approaching chicks I feel I’m outcome dependent even if I’m going in with the right body language and tone. I just want to be able to go in with the IDGAF mindset. I don’t care about the approaches themselves because I’m already doing alright, but I want to cultivate an attitude where I don’t care what happens and can go in with a…

IMO it’s important just so people don’t think you’re weird. Everyone in the 18-25 range has social media these days so people will question you and wonder if there’s something weird about you(at least based off my experiences in a large city) Having said that, you don’t need to invest much time into it. Build your IG to around 200 followers(easy af) and you’re set. From there, it’s your choice if you wanna start documenting the badass shit you do for social proof or not.

Thanks man, this is some really good stuff. I’ve definitely thrown around the “you’re x, lets grab coffee sometime” line, but I haven’t considered finding common ground. Also funny that the streak ended; a chick that I picked up yesterday replied back to a message I sent today. Hopefully I’m able to land a date with her next week haha.

Thanks for the advice, lots of good stuff in here. I should clarify though that when I’m talking about closing, I’m not talking about escalating or making a move like you would on a date, but rather number closing/asking if she wants to hang out sometime at the end of say a 3-4 minute convo. When I think about it from a girls perspective, I imagine that she’d have to be really interested to go out with a random dude she’s only talked to for a few minutes. I’m thinking that I’m just not standing …

Any of you guys have tips for properly closing on closing for cold approaches? I’m 18, decent looking with good style, a minority, but still look like I’m still in high school because I’m really skinny(working on it). Over the past month I’d say I’ve done 30-35 cold approaches going mostly for 7s and 8s. I’ve gotten 12 number/social media closes, but I’d say I’ve only gotten responses from 4 of them. I think I’m on a streak right now of something like 6 successful closes with no responses. I’ve …

As someone who had zero approaches before this summer and has now done 30ish with decent success and improvement I feel like I can give you relevant advice for your situation. Your social calibration needs a lot of work. Firstly, as another user mentioned it’s kinda creepy to be waiting outside. “Where are you going?” is also creepy. Grabbing her by the arm in that context is just wrong. She probably views you as creepy, weird and aggressive. Mass approaching is the quickest way to improve. Aim …

A situation where there isn’t a time constraint or where an approach is more natural. For example, the chick from Finland just happened to be sitting next to me at a soccer stadium. It was easy and seamless to open her during half. The other chick I actually met at my old job. My job is to basically just stand around and this girl asked me some questions about the place I work. She seemed interested and stayed in my vicinity so I got her number before I left for my break.

The second scenario is definitely a shit test, but I’m not sure about the first one. In that situation, all I said was hey what’s up, it’s teentrp2000 and she just straight up replied “Sorry, but I don’t wanna lead you on, I’m actually seeing someone right now. I’m sorry, you seemed really nice!”

Yeah, I don't doubt that the generic, direct approaches work. I'm still able to pull numbers at an okay rate, I just feel like a better approach would improve my odds of not only getting the number, but more importantly actually being able to setup a date.

I get where you’re coming from, but the post isn’t necessarily meant for this girl in particular. The fact of the matter is that I’m gonna be in the same position logistics wise with any girl I successfully cold approach(I only really see chicks downtown). I did send a text a couple of hours ago just saying hey what’s up it’s teentrp2000. I was waiting for her to say hi back and dive straight into logistics. Yeah, that's the logic I used to overcome AA, but for some reason it just feels different in the situations I mentioned. Regardless, I think I just needed someone to reinforce that. One thing I've noticed in general(not just with girls) is that I gotta stop giving a fuck about what other people think. Are there any books or other material you'd recommend for adopting this kind of attitude? I know that "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck" is popular.

Is the text where OP opens up and tells her the truth a good idea? Wouldn't it be better to keep the plausible deniability so she doesn't feel like a slut and so sex "just happens."

It's a modern TV show, but Harvey Specter from Suits is alpha af. I've only gone through the first two seasons so far so we'll see if he changes, but I don't think I've ever seen someone so perfectly embody what the red pill teaches.

The club was literally right next to our hotel, not even a two minute walk versus one hour each way to get to the chick. Trains back to my hotel would have been shut down late at night too, meaning I would have had to cab back. Not only that, but going into a foreign city alone at night without cell service isn't the safest thing in the world. Secondly, I never said it was a sure lay. In fact, that's one of the reasons I didn't take the risk. The possibility of getting cock blocked by her friend…

Yeah, I just hope I keep finding opportunities to practice. Back home, my parents are really strict about going out, especially during months where I have school. As a result, I've missed out on parties and other situations to meet girls. I've approached probably only 10 girls in the last few months. Fortunately, I have a paid internship related to my mission in August which will have me in downtown five days a week. I'm not going to go home until I've approached at least two girls per day.

Plus there was no guarantee of getting laid. Sure, she straight up asked if I wanted to go all the way, but LMR would likely have been a bitch. Then there's also the chance that I could have gotten cock blocked by her friends. To me, this wouldn't have been worth the hour commute each way in addition to missing the meeting.

Honestly that was the most fun I've had on a date ever. I said whatever the fuck I wanted, did whatever the fuck I wanted, and k-closed without acting like a pussy. Accepting so called limited potential is accepting defeat. You haven't dedicated yourself to lifting, you're clearly not going out to build social skills, and you have zero self confidence. You need to lift and eat properly, focus on grooming to Max your looks(nice haircuts, nice and well fitting clothes, groomed eyebrows and facial hair, clear skin). Get on a proper 4 day program that has been proven to deliver results. You have a weird split going on. Judging by your pics, you've definitely gained size. You need patience, it's only been 5 months. Also keep closer track of your diet, you should be lean bulking so as to not put on too much fat now. You're looking for instant results. This is a marathon not a sprint.

How can I develop a mindset like this where external sources are irrelevant for my confidence? I'm pretty content with myself right now, but I haven't had an experience yet where someone insults me or says something demeaning. I haven't had major setbacks with chicks recently. I want to get to a point where people can insult me and call out my physical appearance without it affecting my self worth.

He said he's lost almost all attraction to her. That means this isn't the only issue in the relationship or OP doesn't understand the concept that she's not yours, it's only your turn. If its the former he should break it off. If it's the latter, then it would absolutely be in his best interests to learn and apply TRP material. If he doesn't learn and apply, his current thoughts will haunt him and there's a very good chance he'll be unsatisfied sexually over time. The only way I can think of sav…

For hair, find a really good, well renowned barber. Go in and ask him to give you something based off what he thinks would look good. Usually it takes time for them to do that. For a while, you can just brush it aside by jokingly responding or just smiling and saying some shit like "we'll see where this goes." There will come a point where a girl firmly brings it up and basically gives an ultimatum, but by that point you should have already smashed.

At the end of the day if a chick finds you attractive you'll get the number regardless of what you say unless you fuck up big time. Keep this in mind, and you'll take a load of your own stress off.

Yeah, I think I could have done a better job letting my intentions be known. It's just that it seemed a little off-putting because of how much of a good girl she seemed. For example, when I asked her what sport she played she said softball. I was gonna grin and say something along the lines of "fitting in with the stereotype of hot softball girls eh," but I didn't. It's usually pretty natural and fluid for me to say things like that to establish my intentions, but this specific chick's character…

Personally while reading and reading TRP material, I write down things I specifically find important in a doc. Basically, narrowing things down to really good advice, so it's concentrated in one area. I continually add to this doc and give it a read every two weeks or so, so that I don't forget the concepts. I recommend you do the same if you forget about concepts you read.

I'm assuming this is because you're afraid of rejection. Personally, I'd start cold approaching random girls you see. That will get you desensitized to the feeling of rejection without being awkward(you likely won't see them again). The other thing that you gotta remember is that you're not special if you ask a girl out and fail. Chances are this has happened multiple times with the girl in question. Nobody's gonna make fun of you, it's not gonna be awkward if you ask a girl out and get rejected…

Yeah, I get what you mean. I have a tight knit group of friends, but it'd be good for me to seize opportunities to meet new people more often.

I get invites, but don't end up going to parties very often. The soccer team I play on is highly competitive and so we play in a league for both our age group and in a men's league. Issue with that is we end up with games on Saturday nights. Most parties are on Saturdays and so I can only go to Friday parties which don't happen all that often. As for the summer, our team is going to Sweden to play in the Gothia Cup. It's a once in a lifetime experience and so I'm amped for that.

I've read the sidebar in its entirety, but it's hard sometimes to remember it all and apply it in the beginning. I'll give it a reread someday soon

a) I have no definitive proof b) The school can't do shit if he really wanted to do something c) I'm not gonna snitch someone out for something minor like this; I don't wanna be labelled as a pussy

I'm in a similar position(17 and just started lifting in January). Before this, I spent a few months spinning my wheels because I knew jackshit about diet and a proper program. You definitely don't know wtf you're doing based on your OP, so I'd head over to /r/fitness and read the sidebar. Read about diet, decide if you wanna bulk/cut, and get on a proper program.

You're right about the above, responding was the first mistake and from there it only got worse. I only brought up my friends because I have a feeling on who this is and what they might do. I know that this guy wouldn't confront 1v1, but that if he did ever do anything that he'd pull a bitch move and try and jump me with his clowns(jumping is a lot more common than 1v1 in our area if ppl are serious). Mentioning my friends was just to say to him that he won't pull a bitch move like that and get …

Yep, I now realize that the mistake was engaging in a convo in the first place. And that's a really good point about self-snitching, I actually never thought of that.

Yeah, you're right. In hindsight, I definitely should have stopped replying once I realized. I'm new to TRP and knew there was a learning experience to take from this, and I've found it right here.

I usually wouldn't reply in the first place, but the first two texts sounded like the type of joke one of my friends might play, so I thought one of them just ended up with a new number.

From what I've gathered, Trp's mindset is that you should be focused on your mission, school/work, lifting, and social life. If you have time left over from doing that, you can definitely spend some time playing video games, or watching Netflix, or whatever. The key though is it shouldn't interfere with the productive shit in your life. For example, there's a difference between playing video games for two days on a night when you should be studying for a test, versus playing video games for say …

If you can hang outside of school together that will do wonders for actually getting in the group. Getting into that situation in the first place might require you to become even closer to the few people you do know reasonably well in the group. Also, find the group's common interests and see if it's compatible with yours. For example, one of the groups at my school is into fantasy sports. I'm a pretty big sports fan myself, so I'll chat up aboht that when I see them. Also, recognize that gettin…

Joining clubs or sports is a really good idea. Aside from that, just be more outgoing and socialize with people in your class even on an individual basis. The best thing that I've found is to engage specifically with one or two people from a clique when they're not with their group. This could be in one of your classes or randomly in the halls. For example, just last week I saw one dude from my Bio class sitting in the library. I just went up to him and struck a conversation. We were nothing mor…

Agreed, I told myself this week that I was gonna start ramping things up starting February
/r/askTRP29/01/18 08:54 AM

Yeah, I'm ramping up for February. Reason I didn't gain much weight was because I was eating at maintenance for the first two weeks of January since I had come back from a vacation where I ate quite poorly. By the 13th or so I started bulking and so the 1.5 pounds I gained for the month was all in these last two weeks.

Thanks man, appreciate the help. Honestly can't wait until July cuz then soccer season will be over and I won't have to worry about staying super lean, agile, and fast. For now, I just have to lean bulk slowly(gained 1.5 pounds this month).
/r/askTRP29/01/18 08:02 AM

3-4 years? I was thinking more along the lines of 2 years. I'm only 142 pounds, but I'm really lean so I'll be able to lean bulk for quite a while before I have to cut. Considering my young age and the base I'm starting from I think it'd take less than 3-4 years to put on roughly 30 pounds of lean mass. I was reading a little bit online and most places said that you can put on 1-2 pounds of lean muscle mass in a month. But yeah, I understand that none of these gains are going to be instant.

Yeah being a skinny guy myself, getting to his level seems like a good goal since it's a great platform to build off of.

Yeah I've definitely heard that saying, though I think it's more applicable to someone who's my weight versus Jose.

That's not what I'm trying to ask. What I'm saying is will a guy with the kind of body I linked in my OP be noticeably more attractive physique wise versus say a typical skinny guy. Obviously you can tell when both take their shirts off, but how noticeable will the difference be when everyone has all their clothing on. I'm wondering because I don't know if that kind of cut, athletic physique would be more attractive or if you'd wanna aim to be bigger than that long term even if that means you're…

Thanks man, this was some great advice. College/uni life is perfect for spinning plates, so you're right that an LTR doesn't make much sense. And yeah, I definitely haven't mentioned anything to even my closest friends about TRP. What's interesting though has been that since reading about TRP, I'm understanding why my friend does well with girls. He doesn't have the same issues that I do in terms of free time, being able to go out, and finding a place to smash, but I still found it really intere…

That's a really good point about calibrating myself to her a little bit. She seems really into me and seems insecure about whether or not I'm actually interested in her. I think reciprocating a little bit more interest back would be helpful. Now that I think more about it she might be worried that she's not a priority. I posted a few pics on Instagram from the party in December and one was with a different girl. Another girl then commented on my pic saying "I swear I saw you with like 7 differen…

Yeah, I've begun cold approaching girls consistently(helps me build social confidence when successful and desensitizes me from rejection when I fail) and it's been going pretty well. It's unfortunate that my school has ugly girls for the most part, with any good looking girls already taken. I'm embracing the challenge though and will look for these kinds of chicks at parties.

I should have clarified, I meant that I'd move on if she resisted kissing next time. I'm not expecting more than that from a first date unless she's showing IOIs

Thanks for the advice. I know I can get laid easily(I'm average to above average in looks and actually do productive things with my time), just gotta apply the red pill attitude, maintain an abundance mentality, and do more than think.

The issue in this case wasn't mustering the courage. I also don't feel uncomfortable kissing or touching girls, I just haven't had sex itself. I've recognized that I was a pussy at escalating and am now working towards getting experience at escalating. The only way for me to get better is practicing and that's what I'm doing. Obviously this was a fail and so I'm trying to understand how and why I failed. I think /u/Self-honest was bang on in saying I killed the sexual tension. It's the actual es…

Yeah, it's hard though with the way she initiates interaction. She'll send me memes and message me almost every day on her own. I get busy so I usually end up responding several hours later, but I still think I have to reply because I feel like she'll think I'm not interested anymore. Spending time is again another situation where it's hard to control. I usually end up at class a few mins early so she's always the one that comes to sit down next to me and talk. In the library for example I saw h…

I actually took her through the outside route towards my class so that we'd be alone instead of being clustered in the halls. But yeah, I think you're right about escalating being easier because now she knows what I want.
