Did you open yourself up and she used it against you? Were you more emotionally invested in her than others? Don't hate yourself, it doesn't achieve anything. Just learn from the experience. And lift, if you haven't been. I had a ton of anxiety for so long, along with guilt and depression. Lifting made all of them go away. Anytime they creep back, that's my tell for hitting the gym. Plus, women get sexual with the muscles very early. Like they say, best way to get over someone is to get under so…

Listen to your balls, not your brain, and you'll go against the grain. Spot that slag with the nice thigh gap in the produce section, still in her spin shorts? Your mind decides a semi-awkward approach, maybe a hastily creepy segue towards "oh you got that; mine's bigger (mumble) and then retreat. "Nice legs; what time do they open?" ask your balls. If you're doing all the redpill basics and she sees your swole frame and smirk, your balls have gotten you a laugh and smile and a plate. Your balls…

If you're an alpha dating hot women gets you female preselection benefit of more women. Vaginal approval of your cock beats female acquaintances.

I figured that's what you were getting at. I think a few of your insights into female intentions are probably true. Rollo's iron rule applies big time here: "if you're not fucking her, you're her girlfriend."

Have to ask why one would bother wanting a woman as a friend? I don't have any "female friends." There are female colleagues who I have to be professional with but nothing more, exes who text randomnly and plates/potential plates. That's about it.

Nice. Same experience here. Your energy levels skyrocket and your body starts hating unhealthy shit. A good protein powder can really do wonders to get one started.

Quality marriageable men realize that at any moment a woman will turn these validation vehicles into a search for a "perceived" better mate. Why would any man commit to that?

Nice. Likewise, man. What kind of guitar did you get? I finally bought myself a Telecaster, which I've always wanted to play and I absolutely love it. So light and so easy to play. Congrats, man.

I haven't gotten the "eww gross" comment. I have gotten a lot of subtle touching from female coworkers..."oh, I just love your coat, this is a really nice shirt." Yeah I've worn the coat and shirt several times before I started lifting so yeah...

Monk mode can help one reprioritize. When women and, to a lesser extent, the old happy home and family ideals go by the wayside, you take solace in yourself, your work, your health and your passions. You get addicted to the successes you're achieving. Then women just aren't that important anymore.

Approaching becomes a lot easier when you keep it simple, esp. in a day game setting. Small talk about weather, asking what book she may be reading or just randomly saying what's on your mind while in the grocery line to the girl in front of you will take you places you never expected to go.

I'll admit it: I resurrected my guitar playing and started to lift regularly in hopes of attracting better mates. But I'm now addicted to learning my favorite songs and the energy I get from lifting.

I think I have the one female therapist that's almost with TRP. She has ADHD like me and is an ADHD "coach" as well. Women with actual ADHD tend to be more straight forward, IME. After my divorce she told me to trust my gut, live life for myself, take up hobbies and exercise, start my consultancy, set boundaries and not change myself for women. Very rare counselor.

There is no gender equality, there never will be. It's a biological and physiological impossibility. So double standards will always exist; it is what it is. That said, I'm with you, fat acceptance is extremely unhealthy and the root cause of the problem is its inherent focus on appearance over health.

As someone who's failed more times than I can count, my best advice is plan for it and learn from it when it happens. It's a learning experience, it's how one gets better. Make a life for yourself outside of your work, like others have said. Don't live for women, they're not worth it. And you can always find another job. Take up hobbies, think about something you've always wanted to do and make a plan to do it.

I get that. I'm right there with you. I suffer from the same kinda stuff. I am still trying to kill the beta and it is hard as hell when, despite a crappy mother, I was raised to treat people as you would like to be treated. I nearly relapsed and have had to, yet again, become a student. I am still trying to understand how women, being "more mature" than us growing up, are now children. And how they never see the big picture. I understand your intentions much more clearly. Thanks for the clarifi…

The blue pillers fold like cheap tents when you hold frame, challenge their bs and state your case. And anyone who blindly does what a woman says can be easily outsmarted and defeated. Women corroborating with other women within a social group is, on the other hand, a minefield. They talk and talk and talk about everything going on within that group, including who they're fucking within the group. Your fate is sealed in terms of your sexual accessibility to women after the first girl you bang an…

Framing this in a different light that helped me overcome my hesitation to lift: Muscles are to women what huge perky tits, a narrow waist and a gorgeous ass are to us. When you start making gains, you will get stares, not glances, and these are super easy approach targets. The testosterone increases are addictive AF. The increased confidence you're getting from your awesome bod plus this T surge destroys approach anxiety. You will think of great one liners upon seeing a target and you use them …

Great post. Wolves are great examples of successful k-selection mating strategies in the animal kingdom. High parental investment in young, high intelligence, adaptability, etc. This is what we as humans should strive to be but have largely turned r-selected (lots of sex, low parental investment) due to a number of factors, namely social constructs. In general, alpha males (both human and animal) experience rising whole blood serotonin levels in correlation with rising status. Serotonin, among o…

At the risk of sounding like an ass, her reaction to his cancer is not uncommon. It sucks, it's horrible and she dealt with it in the worse way possible, but a loved one with cancer is a very, very hard situation to deal with. They don't exist anymore. All the rational reporters got out of the news biz after the housing crash in '08. We now receive news from irrational idealists who endured at least 10 serial unpaid internships and no employee benefits "for the cause."

"To live alone, one must either be a beast or a god" - Aristotle. We all struggle with this; humans are social, tribal creatures. And women feel it just as much as we do, if not more so. You're not soft or sensitive, you just expect more out of people. That's not the worst thing in the world.

A lot of it depends on your perspective about your situation. My mother was borderline and abusive. It wasn't ideal, a mother's love would have been nice, but I saw the true nature of women very early and learned to be self-reliant at a very young age. I'm cautious with women and most of my relationships don't make it past the six-month mark, if they're relationships at all. Most would call this damaged, but I consider it a valuable life lesson.

Great advice. I was talking to some senior contacts of mine who have committed wives and stable marriages about this. Their perspective was the commitment juice is the worth the squeeze but their women are different. Ours are, as OP says, wet holes.

You can have life experience without being old. Warrior children in Africa see and fight in actual warfare before puberty, many of us will never see that. If your mother has borderline personality disorder, you learn the dark side of female nature really quick and it doesn't surprise you when modern females exhibit similar craziness.

It's times like these I'm thankful for an inept, crazy mother and a loving but also fair, firm masculine father. Got the self-reliance lesson early and the "man up" lessons at the right time.

Women never admit it and evolution has made them way too good at hiding it. You literally have to catch them in the act or have some other sort of direct proof in order to get a confession. And even then, the hamster will have a new rationalization at the ready. If your gut tells you a woman is cheating or something's off, it's probably right. If you're not married, that's all the proof you'll need to ghost.

Yep, I've read the source material and I'm not necessarily in disagreement with you. But I think you're confusing virtue with white knighting/blue pill/nice guy/approval-seeking behavior. Virtue is essentially the exercise of prudence through wisdom, although it has other definitions within the realms of philosophy/religion. Based on what I understand from the Frenchie case, his fessing up was unwise given he was aware of the group's attitudes and social norms regarding the practice. He also was…

Your assertion and conclusions are vague. Men can be virtuous, we often are. And virtuous men can do horrible things like kill but that doesn't make them bad (think "just war clause" for instance). Women will never appreciate a man's virtue, it's just how they are. And they are hardly virtuous themselves, even in the best circumstances.

Great post; indeed, mindset is key. Tackle adversity head on and independence becomes your natural state. Self reliance is the true blessing of masculinity. Women cannot achieve it, no matter how hard they try. They will always need us; we only need ourselves.

Have you ever had a girl who wouldn't stop texting you random crap? Such as she texts to confirm a date, you reply with a "yes" and then she comes back with a bunch of random shit about her day, how she's feeling, what she ate, etc.? How did you react? In this scenario I just don't reply to anything other than simple logistics. The point is women are attracted to men with options. It sparks that female competitiveness anxiety. My ex always hated the saying "happy wife, happy life" because she knew that was unachievable. That said, the happiest women I've ever known are mothers. Children make women happy. So yeah, if you go against your nature so you can be "liberated" in your HR job with three cats as your next of kin, then yeah, you're not going to be happy.

Well, we just lived through one of the most redpill elections in American history. Alternative media has helped us unplug from the lies of the mainstream press. Hacktivists have lifted the veil on the corrupt dealings we knew were there, particularly between the left and the media. I don't think you'll find much disagreement here. The majority of us would probably love to rear healthy children with a beautiful, loyal, loving wife. Unfortunately, we live in an r-selected mating environment. President-elect Trump is the first of many steps necessary for us to return to our k-selected nature. It can be done. Russia and Eastern Europe are increasingly k-selected, governments are actually incentivizing marriage, family and child rearing. It's a big reason the Left has so much v…

Sounds a bit like my last LTR. And I emphasize "last LTR." Spinning plates is so much easier. And better for your mental health, IME. Here's the rub, and it's been mentioned on TRP before: don't take women seriously. Ever. Some people will say "well relationships are serious things because marriage and children yadda yadda blah blah.." if that were the case, women wouldn't initiate 70% of divorces. Women don't take themselves seriously. They don't take most aspects of life seriously. And every t…

Yep, the system sucks, for the most part. I made out better in my divorce than my ex but we didn't have kids so that helped. It is what it is. Don't get married. If you do get married, don't have kids. Women will never appreciate male sacrifice until enough sacrifice takes place that women wake up to biological reality that they need men (think United States, 1945-1960). It's been hard for me to accept, but it truly is easier to view women as children/teenagers. Would you enter a binding contrac…

Unless that person has dealt with the abuse the often accompanies being raised by a BPD parent. That person builds walls, learns to fight back and overcomes the tyranny of horrible parenting. Problem is later in life, those defense mechanisms are still there and are being applied in a counterproductive way to normal relationships. There's another thing to tackle in therapy.

Hold frame, vet and kick to curb if she don't act right. Seriously. BPD women are easy to spot. They play act for a while like every girl does. But once that period is over, they'll start to do some real weird shit that will have you thinking "uh, wtf just happened?" They'll also say some things that are odd, have emotions that are all over the place, especially their anger. A lot of small things that most people won't think twice about will set them off. They are also extremely impulsive; cheat…

Don't stick your dick in crazy is a good rule of thumb for us. However...crazy can sometimes take a bit to manifest, as women will be absolutely perfect in order to secure commitment. Plus, 25% of women are on antidepressants, so every fourth girl you meet will be nutburgers. So go ahead and fuck her, wrap it and then flush your DNA down the toilet. And don't commit. Crazy in the head; crazy in bed does have some truth behind it.

Stefan Molyneux has a theory about why this is and I'm paraphrasing but it boils down to men are evolved to deal with the difficult reality of, for instance, having to kill an animal that can easily kill you, losing one of the members of your hunting party and having to fend off the advances of another tribe. Women, on the other hand, are evolved to help raise children, care for animals that have been domesticated by men and generally live in a more comfortable environment. Myth vs. reality. It'…

You're right, it is a tendency. There are exceptions to every rule but the rule exists for a reason. I wouldn't chastise you for that, worthwhile women do exist. No woman will ever be perfect, just the same as we're not perfect. The issue is that people change. They grow older, they have health concerns, life throws curveballs at them. Unpredictability is not friendly to marriage, so it's best to keep basic female nature in mind, just in case.

You might want to move on from that dream, especially if you're in the West. Or you can have a hot friend donate some eggs for your sperm, freeze both, then build a perfect female mother android, then make a test tube baby and have a surrogate mother give birth to your lab spawn and then have them raised in your happy home by your hot robot wife.

This is all very true. However, the sexual partner thing is harder to control for these days, especially if the girl goes to college. Marriage is only worth it if you both want kids. But no matter how virtuous or moral she is, she will only love you based on the value you provide to her and her/your children. Men want sex, women want resources is our biological rule of thumb. Credit scores can be fluid. An entrepreneur who just started a company with lots of credit will have a lower score if he just got a new operation off the ground as he's taken on a lot of debt very quickly. Wait til she gets a mortgage. Although beta man will throw the bucks up for her there too since sweetie pie gives 3x/month sex if her score stays pristine. But if it doesn't, hubby will only get a taste 1x/month maybe less. Jeez women can be cruel. And yet we're the a-holes.

Illustrates a great Red Pill truth: Never engage or attempt to engage in transactional sex, especially with someone you haven't even met yet. Transactional sex goes beyond prostitutes and strippers. And don't pay for drinks or food on a first date with expectation of sex in return. You can do it out of kindness just don't expect a tit for tat as you're demonstrating low value.

Women are only in it for themselves when it comes to competition. And because of this, they will often perceive teammates, especially male ones, as threats if the teammate outshines them. Ever had a female "colleague?" Most of us have at this point. When the stress was on and she wasn't meeting goals did she double down, roll up her sleeves and see it through? Doubtful. When life does not meet one's expectations, anger is a common emotion one may express. It's not necessarily bad or good, it just is. Anger can, as the poster writes, energize positive activity and personal growth, as it should. That said, one must also understand why one is angry and not simply assume the anger will go away with activity. This will help one be aware of future triggers and help one deal with those triggered emotions as a gym is not always available on demand.

Have to agree. I've seen desperate men fawn over women so nasty they could pass for actual trolls. Land whales have it extremely easy. But I could never bang one. Besides, skinny hot chicks are actually a lot easier to lay since they actually like sex and showing off their bodies. And once you have one, it's nearly impossible to lower your standards thereafter.

Based on what happened in Rhode Island a few years ago, decriminalized prostitution also lowers rape and STD rates: "A loophole in Rhode Island law effectively decriminalized indoor prostitution there for a several year period ending in 2009. During that time period, the state also saw significant decreases in both sexual violence and cases of gonorrhea, according to data analyzed by the National Bureau of Economic Research." http://reason.com/blog/2014/07/15/fight-rape-with-legal-prostitution I…

Exactly. Women loathe betas. I can't tell you how many passive aggressive shame posts I've seen on Facebook from married women about their beta husbands not cleaning windows, fishing too much or being at work. And it never ends with just one post, which tells me the beta did not put his foot down. It's just one of many examples, digital equivalent of beta hubby getting yelled at at a grocery store.

Good post. Disagree on the asshole point, though. That girl knew what she was doing; I bet if she kicked you out and you hit a tree she wouldn't have thought twice about it. You can't change the past. To my original point though, as a 32-year-old, I've noticed more success in life and at work leads to greater challenges. Keep that asshole side of you in your back pocket, it comes in handy when shit needs to get done.

True. Although there are breeds for every lifestyle. I live in an apartment and I have a Boston and he's the greatest. Dog walkers and even daycare help greatly with the stress of no socialization.

Truth. And if an alpha actually changed for her to be a "better man" she'd lose all respect for him and dump his ass.

Wait... she's actually good at her job? Wow, usually that kind of crazy seeps into work product. I kind of wish her supervisor was nearby to hear the vagina comment because if one of us said "did she forget whose cock is going to be destroying her later" about a whiny girlfirend who wont make dinner we'd be reported and probably fired.

She should want to focus on her family. It's called being an adult and having responsibilities. Men can focus on family too but we're not naturally gifted there like women are.

Women also love food so damn much nowadays it's like they were starving most of their lives. They seem to lust after food like we drool over a pair of 34 DDs. Women are so dumb to do this. It's not empowering; they're destroying their personal health.

The old axiom goes that the difference between alphas and betas is the mere fact that betas have not seen women at their worst, or at least not enough times to warrant a change in behavior. I don't know if the man in the example qualifies as beta, I think he's just sad and pathetic. Maybe tired, emotionally destitute and this is all he can hope for in life.

I ditch any chick who dates men for "utility" purposes, i.e. help me with my blog and I might drop panties for you. They are so surprised and that saddens me because very few men before me actually had the balls to assert themselves.

It's okay if it is selfish. But even then, why's the onus on the man? If women weren't hypergamous and could be trusted wives and mothers, we'd all have kids at this point.

Betas have it rough these days but they do bring it on themselves by acquiescing to women. Sad truth is women want to be called on their shit and you should never apologize for doing so. If she doesn't like it, she can go.

Have you ever fucked one? I've laid Vietnamese, Japanese and Korean girls this year and the latter was by far the best.

Lmao karate chopping. Hooked up with an older Vietnamese ONS and she said Asian girls love all-American type guys, which I guess is the vibe I give off cause the attraction is pretty damn quick. That said, Asian women can fuck with your head a bit. They're amazing at making you feel like a God one day and nothing the next. Best bet: act like their fathers and keep affection to a minimum. Easier said than done sometimes.

Well done, sir. My ex begs me to take her back. They will always grovel. Yet they could have turned around, said an affair wasn't worth tearing a family apart. Lord knows we have. And yet, they still put themselves in that situation. If anything, she's upset she got caught.

This is why higher testosterone levels in men lead to more relationship discord. Alphas are great lovers, horrible caretakers (generally). Women can also sense your role in the hierarchy. Why else would every woman assume an attractive man is out for sex? Well, because that's how they see him, those horny birds.

Yep, they can't. I'm surprised they can sustain any set course in life given the emotional rollercoaster estrogen and progesterone take them on monthly. I'm also surprised that there are men out there who still put up with that BS but we have the term "beta" for a reason.

Your conclusion = gospel. Well done. TRP principles become second nature after a while. Plate spinning was abhorrent to me two years ago. Now I have three girls in rotation regularly without giving it a second thought. One will always drop off at some point.

TRP is rational. Morality and rationality don't always mix. Thyself is more important than arbitrary standards that will likely change in 5-10 years.

Facebook was only SMV-relevant when it was exclusive to universities and colleges (we all knew that couple who met on FB). Its usefulness now, at least for me, is to laugh at so many blue pill marriages that I give about 5 years at most (even the most devout Christian couples) and watch so many previously attractive girls hit the wall hard after popping out three kids and then throwing in the fitness towel.

"Women are designed to be better able to be followers and submit to the environment. Their "Hamster Wheel" allows them to reinvent themselves on a moment by moment basis." This has been the hardest part of the pill for me to choke down. It has happened to me; women I've been with have "reinvented" themselves. I cognitively know this capacity exists and that it will definitely not change in my lifetime. But this throws out any hope of sharing an LTR with any woman I see. I will probably get a vas…

I'm naturally independent, so ending my marriage wasn't hard. Union was toxic to put it mildly. Ex never understood why (she's got alot of unresolved issues counseling couldn't fix). It all started after we sold our house, the last time I saw her. She asked if this was the end and I said "yep." She pleaded, cried, etc. and I didn't react. I then explained to her that in order for the marriage to work I would control all finances and decision making, would ban her crazy mother from the house unti…

When did denial, projection and side-stepping responsibility become a woman's MO? My mother owned up to her mistakes in life. My aunts did, too, especially regarding the bad men they chose and later committing to good ones. Nowadays, you point shit out to women about what they need to change and they will deny and spin until they're blue in the face.

It's true. All of it. I was beta in my marriage. Only lasted three years. Worst three of my life. Have treated my ex like shit since and of course, non-stop emails, pleas for a reunion, etc. Best way to transition if you need to: be like opposite George on Seinfeld. Round of applause for your Dad.
/r/TheRedPill05/06/16 01:34 AM

It'd be nice if women were that rational about fucking alphas. They're not. Every single one will try to change the alpha, to make him "better." It never works and they settle for the beta and probably cheat on the side.
/r/TheRedPill21/05/16 12:37 AM

This is a creative way of framing it but I'm not sure it's necessary at this point. Most top-tier guys are opting out or will be after their marriages fail. Women change after marriage. I always tell my friends who are pondering, "if you like the girl you're dating now, you better love the 180 she does once she has you."

"Gentleman, if your gut tells you something, then realize that it rarely steers you wrong and don't ignore it just because of some stupid inner dialogue." Truth. I just kicked this plate I'd been seeing out of my place even though I've been shit testing her big time because she's wanted a "relationship." My gut kept saying "something's not right here, ditch her" and she's one of the prettiest girls I've dated recently and we have a lot in common. But the gut knew something is off and it got loud…

Not so much mistakes but I had dated one who said some really weird stuff on various web video sites and social media and adamantly denied it when I brought it up. She later expected me to commit and I said "hell no, unless you stop doing this and this." She didn't, I gladly moved on.

Amen. But we all have needs so be sure to demonstrate higher value, dominate and do not let up. It's not easy if transitioned from beta life but most things worth having are rarely easy. The Church has done, in my opinion, very little to quell female hypergamy, even among marriage prep for Catholic couples. I was expecting more fire and brimstone in mine, "respect your man or else" type rhetoric and instead it was compatibility tests and natural family planning (which no one took seriously). I'm now divorced and pushing for an annulment. I don't hold the church accountable for my failed marriage but I would not be surprised by a tough annulment fight.

Dudes mateguard around me in DC and most of the time, I'm just trying to watch the game or talk to people. I dropped my frame a bit late last night with this one chick I've been seeing since there were some idiots nearby at a diner make noise and giving her glares. I met female hypergamy + welfare state + AF in person this evening. A little girl, in her PJ's standing in the middle of apartment complex (Section 8) parking lot, was crying out for her mother. I, out walking my dog, called the cops, the girl's neighbor, a Moldovan woman (God love you Eastern European ladies for actually following your true nature) and obviously caring mother picked her up and held her while I talked to dispatch. Gender "pay gap" exists because of employment trends and decisions that women, in the aggregate, have made concerning their careers. Many move with their husbands to new jobs, many decide to start a family and realize maternity leave isn't enough to adequately raise a child. These are women's decisions. No one forced them to open their legs, have sex and get pregnant. That was their decision. No one said they had to follow their husband. That was their decision. The market acknowledges this and …

Regarding the ADHD item. The 20 percent statistic is precisely why counselors and teachers should not assume every hyperactive child has ADHD. Those of us with legitimate diagnoses represent 2-5% of the overall population. And many of us were diagnosed very early because of problems at home, school and with friends. ADHD goes way beyond short attention spans and hyperactivity. Sorry for the very subjective rant but as someone who (along with his father and younger brother) struggled with this di…

I am sadly not surprised anymore. I just tossed an attention whore who had the nerve to ask me to commit but was openly posting sexual flirty shit with other dudes. I told her if she wants commitment she has to stop posting that shit and she freaked. I thank God every single day I got divorced without having kids. There are many similar stories in the book Sperm Wars. It's a hard read but it will help you understand why women do this and cover it up so well.
