What is this? Muscle is not cheap. It requires a massive amount of planning and execution. This alone deserves some respect.

I do not know the answer to your question. You presumably understand how and why to avoid this so the “research” is probably a waste of your time. TRP ruined a fair amount of songs for me. Fuck you all and thank you at the same time.

Not everyone you meet is worth setting boundaries with. You simply dismiss them based on their actions. The medium is the message.

Jonah Hill is still a fat boy in his head. That’s why he’s having these problems. Nothing is wrong with what he said but his experience tells us that a scarcity mentality can affect even the millionaire celebrities of the world. Would a man who thought highly of himself go and bullet point all this shit? Would Decaprio do this? Of course not! He’d just say “Hey, it’s not working out. Good luck” and then he’d go talk to other women.

Yes. Women chit chat. Men do. I think it is a good observation that you can gab to your wife like a pigtailed school girl. I’m not trying to be disparaging. You do need to fix this. Call the other dudes and find a basketball court. Have you ever played disc golf? You will suck at it. The other guys will too. Call the other dudes and go suck at throwing a frisbee together. It doesn’t matter what you do only that you do.

I am really doubting the “3 a day” comment but anyways: Answers - You realise that there are 4 billion women in the world. If not her then someone else. Or no one else. Or several elses. An answer could be you state your boundaries and if she complies, you could trust a little more. That is all fine and good but what really matters is her motivation. Does she actively demonstrate that she is a value add? Is she enthusiastic about you? Does she police herself if/when applicable. In a conflict of …

You need to stop worrying what your wife thinks of you and focus on what you will think of you a year from today. I still meet with the group weekly. The format is wins/losses/challenges and have at least one thing you are working on for the week. Report back the following week. This is the link to his website. I spent time in inpatient, outpatient, therapy and a few overnights in jail all due to my habit. Welcome. Before this gets shredded, you need to consider a few things: are LDRs real? I’ll answer this one for you and tell you for 99.9% of people the answer is “no”. Just a pussy pen pal. would a man with options be spending all this time playing “check in” with a woman who he cannot touch? I’ll take this one too and tell you probably not. you mention your bench. Your next step is recognising your own scarcity mentality. If there were two other women who would slurp you like a Baja blast, would current girl be a problem? My guess is the answer is “no”. But if on the off chance the answer is “yes”, you must lead the way. lift say “no” as a complete sentence reward good behaviour. I do not disagree with your points. What I am saying is you are not going to hear a lot of men discuss personality in self improvement spaces or men’s spaces. “Work on your personality” is much like “Be yourself”. It could be right but but it’s ambiguous. How does one know what a “good” personality is or what a good “self” is? I am not asking you to answer the question. I am telling you why men don’t immediately go “hey! Why am I not attracting women? Hmm m. Maybe it’s my personality.”
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 10:14 PM

How does one measure or qualify personality? The question is rhetorical. This is why you don’t hear much about personality from men.

I have never once found aloofness to be an attractive quality in women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 05:12 PM

Men and women are different. Men to to prioritise content. Women tend to prioritise context. When a man complains about his dating options, this implies a lack of confidence and of course that many other women do not want him. They of course wonder why should they then want him? It is pre-UNselection. The medium is the message. My advice is to never discuss your dating challenges in front of women. You can vent to your bros if needed but make a plan to address the issue.

Yes. I agree. My comment is extremely high level. Men and women will be presented with different risks, benefits, opportunities, advantages and disadvantages and with much different frequencies. I can also remember getting the feedback that I chose poorly in my younger years. It’s a bit troubling because while this feedback was correct, it’s not like there were a ton of options. “Because when men speak out about women who’ve mistreated them, the blame is exclusively on the woman’s actions…” I don’t know how much time you’ve spent on any of the TRP subs but often when a guy presents some scenario where some woman has done something wrong, there is a legion of dudes that cannot wait to tell the OP what a fucking dumbass he is for putting himself in that situation. “This seems reasonable on paper but I think men who think this way tend to disregard the fact that people mature and you adults (teens and early 20s) tend to be more impulsive and reckless.” This is understood but the cold hard fact is that most men don’t care. Take a woman who was in gangbang/threesomes/sugar baby in college and she at least to me (and I am going to say 75% of men) and she becomes utterly…

I think you are dealing in extremes based on what you’ve seen on Reddit. You are too caught up in the “pill” thing. I understand you probably do not like this answer but again, men and women are different. Human beings crave acceptance. The highest degree of acceptance that a man can show a woman is his commitment to her. The highest degree of acceptance that a woman can show a man is sex. The reason men may behave as you mention above is a defence mechanism. If a man were to discover that his g…

I can somewhat sympathise with women in this aspect as I do not envy them in the paradox. The cure for the paradox? Considering the cause and effects of actions and making decision based on risk appetite. I assure you then men do NOT express frustration about women who have casual sex. They express frustration about women do not have causal sex WITH THEM. There will always be different expectations men and women have for each other because of course, we are different. We do not get to dictate wh…

Because they are risks and not set in stone outcomes. It appears that you are attempting to imply some kind of role reversal here and it doesn’t work. Men and women are different. There are different types and different degrees of risks based on our biological differences.

Men’s attractiveness to women is both physical and behaviour based in the short and long term. Women’s attractiveness to men is primarily physical in the short term with behaviour becoming a factor in the long term. Ergo, men don’t care if there is a “nice girl” equivalent provided she is somewhat physically attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/23 02:38 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/23 12:35 AM

You hear it from men and not women because men and women are different. For men, this is the absolute base level requirement. In most major and successful civilisations since the beginning of time, the trade off men and women make is that men will protect and provide for women but it is an absolute requirement that the baby is ours. If the baby is not ours, then there is no deal. The lizard brain doesn’t care if it is egotistical or pompous. It wants to survive and reproduce.

I think women know that other women will do shit like this sometimes. At least for me, a teenage boy at the time, it was incredibly surprising. I knew men would do terrible shit to women. I didn’t know women would do terrible shit to men or think it happened very often and certainly not to me. The halo effect is very real. In general, women want men who “just get it”. I think women can rationally understand male weakness and inadequacies but they do not understand it emotionally or have much patience for it. The medium is always the message. A man who needs help in attracting women means he is not currently attracting women which means there must be something wrong with him. Ergo, if other women don’t want him, neither do I. Women want to play the game; not be told how the game works. In short, being a woman is ab…

No. I have not watched the show. I think what you are seeing is the result but the reason for the result is what matters. Men will want to fuck women are felons because they are women; not because they are violent. Women will want to fuck men who are felons BECAUSE of what being a violent felon represents; confidence and most importantly, non-neediness. Men don’t give a shit about women’s confidence and non-neediness. The medium is the message.

You are so close to understanding. First, hybristophila only exists in women. We must conclude that at least for some women, there is something attractive about violence in men or men’s capability of violence. This makes sense because men’s capability for violence ostensibly could be used for her benefit. Second, and this is the biggest flaw in your thinking “I just women could acknowledge it.” Why? I think that is a huge take away. I was in marriage counseling the first time anyone explained boundaries to me beyond what was physical so that piece was really eye opening for me also.

1st time reading The Rational Male - “huh. Still sad but a little more angry at myself” Hits gym. Quits drinking/drugs. Builds confidence. Acceptance!

The point here is to establish a man to woman contact; not just a human to human contact. Letting women know you want to fuck them does not need to include “Ma lady! I am declaring my intentions on your pussy!”

Neither sex can empathise with the other. Excluding the most basic aspects of humanity, we are simply too different. We have different experiences and different perceptions of those experiences based on our biological differences. Example 1 - It would be normal and prudent for a woman going on a first date to share her whereabouts with a friend or family member due to safety concerns. Full agree. Men and women are different. Men need to make themselves attractive to a large and broad pool. Women by default already attractive to a large and broad pool.

With the exception of extreme disparities, leagues are a waste of time for men to even ponder. Men and women are different. When men evaluate women, we typically look at them, look at ourselves and then decide if they are attainable or not. When women evaluate men, they will of course notice looks first and then make further judgements based on status, confidence, social standing, etc, etc…….. and how they “feel”. /r/PurplePillDebate05/01/23 10:08 PM

Yes. Men will be fine with the “fake it until you make it” approach. Women will probably not which is why you often hear “stop trying to be someone else” or “be yourself” when you ask for their advice. Don’t ask women for their advice on how to attract/arouse women.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/23 09:01 PM
9

If you’ve been in the sphere for even a short time, It seems like you should know the answer to this. Women want men who “just get it.” Needing to receive instruction on how to interact with women and be attractive is an indication that you do not “just get it.” In earlier times, those who did not “get it” would’ve not been selected for reproduction. This gives women the “ick”.

Right. As mentioned above, if you know she’s HL from the onset, it may also be an indication that she is high n. It’s unfortunate really. Makes me think of the quote, “All men want a slut. But only OUR slut.”

There’s not going to be a comprehensive list. In general, my rule is I try to never bring up a problem without also communicating my idea/plan to address it. I even take the Dwight Schrute approach sometimes and paraphrase the quote “I am ready to face any challenges that might be foolish enough to face me.” Edit: I would never cry in front of a woman unless my leg had been chopped off or something. Even then ….

Agree. If we all understood that men and women are different and nowhere are those differences pronounced than in regards to the sexual market place, there would be a lot less confusion and potentially frustration. The reason you find men needing this advice shocking is precisely because you are a woman. Men and women are different. We communicate differently both inbound and outbound. Most women do not need to be taught to read social cues, read between the lines and how to understand that “the medium is the message”. Many men do need to be explicitly taught these things.

The Leagues conversation is mostly a circle jerk. Men and women are different and have different criteria for “the leagues.” Women’s initial attraction to men is not based (almost) solely on physical appearance the way men’s initial attraction is. Ergo, men will not be able to assess what “league” they are in based on a woman’s physical appearance. Attempting to do so is mostly a waste of time. Less focus on leagues. More focus on lunges. I don’t think it’s the word; it’s the connotation. Men tend to communicate overtly while women communicate covertly. Additionally, men tend to fight in the physical while women fight in the psychological. Insecure is not necessarily a negative. It makes sense to be insecure about dating a former or current stripper in the same sense that one would insecure about buying a used parachute off of Craigslist. These represent a reasonable risk to one’s current and/or future well being.

“And the girl’s dad is the owner.” Nope. Stop here. “But what if this girl came in my life to serve that purpose and more?” Nope. Minor scarcity mentality here. The question of “what should I do about girl?” can almost always be answered with a question. That question is, “if there were 2 other women in your life now, who were equally as attractive as the current apple of your eye, who you could fuck in two weeks, would this still be a problem?” The answer is almost always no. The thinking is “if I become more like a woman, they will like me more” and “the feminine way is the correct way to do things.” Many of us grew up in households that mirrored the trope “If mom’s not happy, nobody’s happy. If dad’s not happy nobody cares.” My boss, a man, got married recently. On his first conference call upon returning from his honey moon, some of the more senior men said “ok big guy. Welcome back. Hypothetically, you’re right. You could still possess mostly masculine traits and wear a dress. But that’s not what is done in practice. Our behaviors matter far more than our clothes. No one doubts Hulk Hogan’s masculinity for starring in the 90’s movie Mr. Nanny. Harry Styles on the other hand…… I wonder how many current day non-celebrity men wearing skirts can bench press their body weight, clean a fish or change a tire. The examples you provided are good examples of cultural norms of the time period. Even with the makeup, skirts and/or frilly socks, they were still going to war which is a man’s job. Why? It’s not because women couldn’t shoot muskets or swing swords. It’s because at some level, we have always known that sperm is cheap and eggs are expensive. Additionally, men tend to have greater upper body strength which, I’m sure you can see, is an advantage in any type of combat. Men and women are different.

While we all exist on a spectrum, men and women have natural proclivities due to our biological differences. What you’ve described is what is known as “blank slate equalism”. This is a nature vs nurture conversation. Blank slate equalism completely disregards the nature part of the conversation.

It’s just that most people who smoke a lot don’t do anything with their lives.” This is indeed a generalization but it’s been 20 years since that conversation and I’d say my dad’s statement is true of about 70% of people I’ve come across. Men and women are different. A woman’s sexuality is her greatest asset to a man. A man’s resources, time and attention is his greatest asset to a woman. A woman who freely and openly has sex indiscriminately is likely to be viewed the same way a man who freely and openly tries to get into a relationship with any woman who will have him. This is two sides of the opposite sex coin.

I think you need to look at it the opposite way. Having a bird’s eye view is going to be too subjective and really difficult to measure. Instead, breaking down your areas that were fucked up and see how far you’ve come. Some will be measurable; some will not. I like to categorize my goals by mind/body/soul. Maybe you can use this is a template Emotional control - When I came here I was a raging alcoholic. In hindsight, alcohol was a symptom. My problem was emotion and impulse control. Since usin…

This is why STFU is a core principle of TRP especially in the early stage. When I was 20/21, I was acquaintances with a large group of very attractive women my age at my first real job. I was on an obsessive self improvement kick at the time relentlessly hitting the gym, eating clean, focusing on dress, posture, etc. They asked why I was putting so much work into self improvement and why I didn’t have a girlfriend. I told them directly that “I need get more muscles before I can get a girlfriend.…

Stop calling yourself a boy. You are a man now. Your height is not going to be much of a factor if at all. Ignore the “looking for 6ft” line on dating apps. The last 3 jobs I’ve had “required” a Master’s degree. I barely graduated high school and the last time I attempted college course work was in 2005. Your experience with women may be the same way.

My experience is not unlike yours. I was never some sexless loser but I had no control over sex. It was just like a puddle that I accidentally stepped into on occasion. At 29, I got married and we had a bunch of problems. FOMO started to creep up at the end and we got a divorce around my 33rd birthday. I stumbled onto TRP, got my shit together and spun plates for a while. It was fun at first to get some validation and have new experiences. Like you said, it feels good to be desired. But then it …

I did in fact read it all. I think that you’ve put a lot of thought into this and the overall theme is to not make women the focus of your life and you are exactly right. Ironically, this makes you more attractive. Men and women are different. Although I do think the average woman would spiral into a deep depression if she had to live men’s experience, I don’t think they are “hiding”. From a practical perspective, women don’t typically approach men because they don’t have to. From a biological p…

Proof for the root being inadequacy? I don’t have it although, I do not think it would take the world’s leading sociologist to come to that conclusion. Proof for resolving feelings of inadequacy or increasing personal power? Anyone who has ever received a significant raise or achieved a personal goal could serve as evidence.

I am a bit perplexed by fetishes that the individual recognises is harmful. This specific one, in my opinion, is clearly rooted in feelings inadequacy and powerlessness. Why is the solution to feed into the inadequacy and call it a fetish rather than identify it is an opportunity for improvement? No one can get taller but one can become more powerful both physically and mentally.

The book was life changing for me. I think some guys get hung up on the title with binary thinking. “What’s wrong with being nice?! The benefit is at least two fold: Yes. Being physically fit will make you more physically attractive to women which will increase your odds. Most guys don’t want to be weaklings. There is no easier way for men to build confidence and have at least a part time purpose than lifting weights. Often, and ideally, this confidence translates into other areas of life. The problem occurs when we experience extreme fluctuations in our self esteem/self worth/confidence based on the outcome of those desires. Example of neediness. Guy gets rejected and is disappointed. No problem here yet. He thinks about this rejection…

Also, oftentimes, people are happy do something for you if you just ask. There is a subreddit dedicated to NMMNG and also a very active Facebook group. Join it once you have the book and ask …

Life changing shit if it applies to you and you are willing to do the work. I read the hard copy the first 3-4 times through and now I listen to it on audible quarterly. Every guy I’ve spoken to that read the book has the same reaction I did. “Has someone been following me around my whole life and then wrote a book about it?” High level takeaways: covert contracts are social/relationship killers. A covert contract is “I will do this thing for you and you will do this thing for me but we will not…

The point of my responses are not to get you to change your mind or do anything different. The point is the men and women view sex and relationships very differently. It may behoove us to understand where each other are coming from and what the other sex values in an effort to achieve our goals. Men determine what is valuable in women. …

The reason you see “just lift bro” in these subs is because: A substantial portion of these men lack self confidence to begin with. In my opinion, there is no faster and more idiot proof way for men to build confidence than to consistently lift weights. Hopefully, and often, this translates to other areas of life. Being in shape will not guarantee you get laid but it will help. Even if the only benefit is the belief that you can, sometimes that is all that is required.

Do not try to ever “prove yourself” to any woman. Power play meaning she wants to guilt you into into apologising over and over. She may try to get you to do things for her that you normally wouldn’t so that you will “get back in her good graces.” If you do this, she may lose some respect for you. It’s not that big of a deal. You apologised for your untimely request of YOUR money back.

While your request was untimely, this isn’t really apology worthy. You only need to apologise for something you actually did wrong once. Her “I thought I would’ve forgiven you by now” and “I want to forgive you” is a power play. You have way overthought this. Be cordial and let her come to you.

Men and women are different. Watch what they do; not what they say. Women want a man who “just gets it.” There is nothing seductive or sexually exciting for a woman to give men step by step instructions on how to turn them on. A man who “just gets it” may be high in EQ. If women know that men are doing something solely in order to attract women, it won’t be as effective (or effective at all). Understand that arousing and attractive are two different things (see point one).

Putting issues with any one women into perspective can often be solved by asking one question. If there were two other women you could call and fuck right now, would you be hung up on the one(s) you have in your head right now? Often, the answer to this question is “no”. And if the answer is no, you do not have a woman problem; You have a scarcity/lack of opportunity problem. The way to address this is clearly to create more opportunities. Easy to say. Can be challenging to do. A combo of genera…

No. I am saying when she comes back in town and meets up with you, ask her how her trip was. It’s your call. You are feeling this way after she in womanese said “you don’t need to do dating/LTR/exclusive things with me.” Based solely on your language in this post, it sounds as though you are or are beginning to become more invested than she is. Be honest. How much of the sidebar have you read from the main sub? Yes. This was indeed a terrible answer. Who cares about this one interaction though? Just proceed as normal. Your job in every scenario with any woman who you are even remotely attracted to and want to move things forward with is to establish a man to woman interaction. If it’s beachball Bertha then sure. Be her “friend” if you want. If it’s Maggie Mae and you’d like to be up in her guts one day, it’s a man to woman interaction.…

I think we are still saying the same thing but you are taking it much further. It’s reproductive economics. If something is valued, decreasing it’s availability will increase it worth. The inverse is also true.

Brotha, look at your post history. What do you think? I’m not trying to be disparaging. Look at it. What do you think? Actually, don’t think. This is your problem. You think waaaaaaaaaaaay too much. “We stopped for a bit, I was like “wtf man is this PIED?” This thought was the problem. In all likelihood, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you and your experience was caused by anxiety which is totally normal. A good way to handle this going forward is to jump back in the saddle as quickly as possible. If she brings it up, don’t apologise or say anything self deprecating. It’s not a big deal. In an alternate Hollywood universe, Leo survives which brings us to the sequel. In the climax of movie 2, Rose is marrying Billy Zane. Leo sneaks in as part of the wait staff and Billy spots him. Billy flashes Leo a smirk thinking “hehe I got the girl you little bitch.” Leo gives him a big smile thinking “yeah but I came in her ear and had her friend suck it out with a straw.” In sequel 3, Will Smith plays Jack and gets cucked by hologram Tupac. Yes. I am agnostic and conservative. My current LTR isn’t religious and is a conservative. Her friends are mostly liberal. In the early stage of our relationship, I went to hang out with her group and politics came up. One of her friends was off on a typical liberal tangent and then referred to my now LTR as libertarian. She corrected them and said “No. I am conservative and republican.” I admired her for this and it was a green flag that let me know I should continue the vetting process.

Nothing glaringly wrong here so without more detail, it’s hard to give much advice. One thing that’s interesting is the “I’m on my period” response. Did this happen with 1-2 women weeks/months apart or was this 3+ women in a shorter time frame? Here and there is understandable. If this is happening frequently though, it may be something you are doing, not doing. Again, nothing glaring here. Don’t get TRP analysis by paralysis and get out and try again.

No. What I mean is if you identify a deficiency in an area, you must specifically address that deficiency in order to grow. We often discuss doing “THE work” in TRP which is important. This is the basics. Lifting, wardrobe, finances, social life, etc. Once these are covered and can be maintained, it’s far more important to identify and address “YOUR work” which is specific to you. Brotha, you are still sooooooooo emotionally invested in this bitch. How’s that? I didn’t cry you say! True. But you made this post! Why in the all fuck hell do you care if she perceives you as alpha or beta bitch now? No. You cannot plate this one. Same advice as always. Find your mission. Thats admirable but you are making a great sacrifice; Your time. My suggestion is for you to focus more time in your existing real relationships and finding a new exciting goal. White knights do not receive respect from even the lowest echelons. You knew that. It’s a topical lesson at this point. The biggest takeaway from this is not in your experiment. It is in your first paragraph stating “(I) very much want to save people.” You already knew that. So why the need to go out and test it? And in such an extreme way?

Hypergamy slapped me in the face before I had my driver’s license. First GF I had in high school as a sophomore in 2000. We were both virgins. One night she sneaks out of her house and fucks senior dudes. They tell me about it in the most brutal way possible. I go out to this gazebo and get stoned with these two acquaintances. I noticed condoms on the ground. They snicker and proceed to tell me that’s what was used to fuck my girlfriend the night before. I think this must be a joke. I go home an…

I think your move is literally nothing. Rejection of other men is your LTR’s job. You only need to step in when it becomes physical, overtly crude or she has expressed that she wants it to stop and it does not. Is he trying to text/call/DM your girl? Grab her ass when he gives her a hug? If no, you probably need to chill. What came up for me when thinking about your situation is how Glover describes some men in NMMNG. He describes the kind of guy who doesn’t know how to relate with other men. Th…

Advice to improve one’s fitness, style, and money are at least on a surface level, relatively straightforward. The majority of popular advice men receive on dating/women does not typically produce the desired results because it is misguided at best and detrimental at worst. This causes confusion, frustration and pain. And we typically only seek out advice when we realise that what we are doing is not working and becomes painful. In my personal experience and observation, this can last decades or…

THE MEDIUM IS THE MESSAGE. Men and women in relationships finding others physically attractive is normal. What is NOT normal is her vocalising it. What’s the covert communication here? She certainly doesn’t seem to be communicating that you are her best option…. Or at least for much longer. Whatever you choose, do not have kids with this woman.

Yeah. I dealt with this some. What I think you need to do is put yourself in the driver’s seat. View this as a challenge. One trick I use is to always speak first. This can be at work or social circles where I’m new. If I approach and speak first, I’m in the driver seat. I can control the conversation. I will ask the first questions. I try to say people’s names when I meet them. If LTR and I are hosting, I’ll ask someone I am unfamiliar with to help me make drinks something. This way instead of …

Sounds like the solution is to continue to approach, make them laugh, PULL OUT PHONE AND ASK FOR NUMBER, tell them it was nice to meet them and that you’ll see them around. Has anyone else been through this? Probably all of us. Sounds like you are doing good but just not setting yourself up. You have to do it. Well that is how many men in the RP think. So what to do? Trust women to be women. Spin plates/FWBs. If at some point in the distant future, a FWB proves herself worthy, upgrade her. Don’t get married or have kids and there are minimal (at least long term or legal) consequences if shit goes south. I found TRP depressing for the first year or so. It now is freedom. Knowledge = Power.

On behalf of all the other men, I’d like to welcome you to life in the 2000s. It’s always been like this. It’s just a little more prevalent and visible now. Biggest RP for me was in hindsight. First GF in high school I ever had cheated on me with 2 dudes at the same time. While sobbing I asked her “how could she do this to me!?!” She answered something to the gist of “they were seniors and have cool cars.” I am grateful for my RP truths.

Yes. I can already tell you based on how much you’ve written about a girl you haven’t fucked yet that you need to approach more women. Put this girl on YOUR back burner. Get a tan and dress well like coyote said. All normal shit still applies. I can give you my anecdotal evidence that you are overthinking this. I mentioned to my dad not long ago something about plucking my eyebrows and he told me to be careful. I asked why and he said “Look at me. I like Rich. His videos led me to TRP and inspired me to do something different about women/relationships after my divorce. I also really like Rian Stone. He is the most level headed of the bunch. I have no idea what is his wife looks like and I really don’t care. Rollo also has made a huge impact. Rollo taught me, or reminded me rather, about being one’s mental point of origin. I think this is going to be a bit beyond the scope of TRP unless any of our valued members have a law degree. This being the case, contact a lawyer as soon as possible. You will need to contact the coroner to determine if they collected a biological specimen from the deceased. If they did not, I think you are out of luck. I had the same experience. They do not have a 6th sense. The average woman is waaaaay better than the average man at understanding body language and subtext. I’d say that most women intuitively understand “the medium is the message.” Men typically need to be taught by experience and as with the case for almost everyone here, having it explained to them. do not ever refer to yourself as “stupid” again go on an “I’m sorry” moratorium. You can say “excuse me”, “my b” or whatever but no “sorry” reread up on frame. Not a single one of these events matter. What does matter is that you feel “bad” after them. This is because you are in everyone else’s frame stop catastrophizing keep lifting. It’s a process and not an end goal

One of the primary reasons for my divorce was my ex wife’s weight so I have some experience here. I think you are in a pretty good spot. She recognizes that she has to keep up with herself to keep you. Good! This is ideal for anyone. Since she has kept this up for months on her own, I think you can give her a LITTLE comfort if this comes up again. Keep doing what you’re doing.

You’ve got to decide for yourself. One of the most valuable points that I have taken from TRP is mental point of origin. Human relationships are complex and change throughout the course of women’s lives (please see TRM vol.2) TRP is a guide. It is not a “how to” or an insurance plan. We all have our anecdotal evidence. I know a guy who I would describe as a “Chad” who wifed up an acquaintance who I know for certain slept around quite a bit. They’ve been together for 10+ years and I’m certain he’…

I struggled with substance abuse most my life. If you want to stop, just stop. I’ve never seen anyone improve their life with drinking. You are less articulate, it wreaks havoc on your lifting gains and it is a buffer. If you want to try to moderate, my advice is - Try to go 30 days no alcohol. If you can’t do it or find it difficult, you probably need to cut it out completely. If successful after the 30 days, try to have only 1 drink. If you cannot do this, find it difficult or start trying to …

First rule of fight club applies 99.9% of the time. Use your best judgement. Took my younger brother to dinner once. Over drinks he told me he was “going MGTOW” unprovoked. We had a brief conversation about TRP and then I changed the subject. He hasn’t implemented a god damn thing so no need for us to ever discuss again unless he specifically asks me for help.

My dad told me when I was a kid “Son. You won’t learn anything until it costs you something.” This is true of all of us. How it manifests is different for men and women. Most of us here had a cost to our actions/behaviors. We came here to gain insight and do the work. The cost had become too great to continue on. When the “pretty girl pours” stop at the bar and “where have all the good men gone?” pops into her head, today’s festival going boss bitch becomes tomorrow’s sweetheart in a sundress. S…

You ARE going to get rejected. Expect it. There is no shame in rejection. There is shame in quitting. A key factor in success will largely be determined by your ability to delay gratification. Men learn from their mistakes. Smart men learn from other’s mistakes. Buffers. This is anything you do in order to avoid or delay facing challenges. The longer you wait, the more difficult challenges become. Lift The list could get long.

You’re doing fine based on this brief description. I gotten this a few times. I just smirk and say “would I, themostgianthorse, be with anyone less than a bad bitch.?” And then I kiss her, grab her ass and she moves on. A few times she said “I don’t have my make up on today and I don’t feel pretty.” I respond with “that’s ok! That ass doesn’t need make up!” Laugh and kiss her. You are wise to not over validate. I’d just buzz it all the way man. I used rogaine for a while and my hair started thinning in the crown like yours. As you know, you must use it 2x per day. When I applied it to my crown, it made my hair very greasy and weighed it down so that my issue was more noticeable. This defeated the purpose. Also went down the finasteride, duasteride, nizoral, laser and snake oil route. I may have slowed the process but nothing gave me the results I wanted. The day I buzzed it all off, my confidence surge…

I used to get this all the time when I got nervous. The long term strategy is simply exposure therapy. More experiences will diminish your anxiety. Short term strategy is to take shit beforehand, take Imodium and maybe a light jog/guided meditation a few hours before you meet up. Remind yourself that it is ok to fail. Whatever girl you are with is not gonna be the last girl you have sex with and you probably aren’t getting married to her. If you internalize this thought, that alone should dimini…

You need to join toastmasters to face your fear. In the mean time - take notes on what you are going to speak about and look over them beforehand. Competence = Confidence anticipate questions the group may have. Add these to your notes. stand up if appropriate. Shoulders back. If not, sit up. Shoulders back. minimize the zoom app after everyone joins the meeting. Your camera is still activated. Look directly at it. You can pull it up as you see fit. You need to practice public speaking as often …

“She broke up with her baby daddy” = plate/FWB only forever and ever til the end of time. Never mind any of the other shit. Regarding sexual past, you must determine your own standards. TRP has much to say on the subject but these are guidelines to help you avoid common pitfalls. One that is resounding amongst the majority of men both TRP aware and not, is that single mothers are almost always a poor investment.

I agree with being somewhat “open” and owning it but discernment is key here. If I were in that scenario, I would personally answer with amused mastery “Wow! You’re forward aren’t you!? I thought it was decent. I think when Mark is referencing vulnerability, he actually means courage or it’s at least how I interpreted it when I read it. As in having the courage to take risks which would make you “vulnerable” to rejection/failure. Courage is a strength. Vulnerability is not.

As mentioned above, read up on the soft next and dread. What’s really standing out to me is that you are still married but have somehow already entered into an LTR? Is that right? You also reference feeling “mistreated” in both relationships. These are back to back. Are you tolerating and thus perpetuating the problem? I’d take some time off from committed relationships and do some introspective work if I were you.

What about a 29 year old who fucked 29 women and got blown by another one. Does he have 29.5 partners? Would one more blowie = 30 partners? Does 30 partners now = TRP god mode status?
