Tik Toc used to be called Musically and mostly children used it. It started to take off when it was purchased and renamed tik tok

I'm so sorry you're feeling this way, seriously. I'm right there with you. There are some posts on here worth taking note of (because I myself am not very adept in this arena due to social anxiety/inexperience), however, most are worth dismissing. I pick and choose which I follow. Only reason this one caught my attention was because it was about first's which I find romantic haha but that's just me. It wasn't until I read the last sentence that I said to myself sheesh.

Whoever is responding negatively / over/critical to this post and the strategies laid out, has some serious issues they need to address and talk to a therapist immediately. Don’t sweat the negative comments OP this was a good post

If by cope you mean not using medication, then yes. My friend says meditation helps. I haven't tried it yet but I will prob soon. Not only am I naturally hypersensitive but I have adhd, so I've taken adhd meds my whole life to "cope" with it. Recently, however, I wanted to try and go about coping with my hypersensitivity and adhd naturally just to see how it goes. I'm 25 and I don't want to be attached medication my whole life. so we'll see how it goes. are you also hypersensitive? physically? m…

Hypersensitive persons, meaning I’m already processing all the information in my peripheral. It’s too much sensory input for especially since I have adhd

Is telling people you're an alcoholic a good way to not get pressured to drink alcohol? I mean, I technically am an alcoholic (binge drinker) but this was back in college and nowadays (im 25m) I only have a beer or two when I go out. but still I notice how it negatively affects me the next day. I feel bad for rejecting an invitation to drink by using the logic it's bad for you because you're basically bashing on the people that do decide to drink despite it's negative affects. Some people will t…

awww gotcha. I'd get a little heated if she told me that. most of my friends are women some of them I'm attracted to. I can't believe she called you a dick lol that's basically the equivalent of calling a woman a cunt.

Im like what? We met on a dating app, you don't want to even go on a date, I said ok and i left. Why are you mad at me? what did she say to that? I'm actually really curious haha I fell for the hot girl simp trap recently but she was actually willing to meet.
/r/seduction11/05/21 01:52 PM

Idk the way you said that seemed too scripted tho, like you’ve been practicing that saying in the mirror. Can’t girls sense that inauthenticity? I mean I would act like I wouldn’t know what she’s talking about. For example, “would you be mad if I did that?” and I would say “why what do you mean ? You do you !”

This may have some validity. I got a girl's number at a house party I was at. She was drunk but still remembered giving it to me. a few weeks later I ended up calling her straight up, and ask her out to get lunch or something. She was def caught off guard and asked if she could call me back with an answer. maybe 15 min later she called back and said she'd to go out with me. We ended up having lunch at Panera. no connection unfortunately. so we both went out own ways. but yeah I think calling or …

Right exactly, so she should want to say because you don’t need her energy in your life.
/r/seduction08/05/21 05:37 AM

She probably went cold because you don't really need her energy in your life. Isn't that why women like men? if I needed her energy for my life, then I need to work on myself because I'm being codependent, right?

attracted like physical attraction. like have you ever had to resort to sleeping with someone you weren't attracted to as a result of being rejected by all the women you were attracted to?

Right, makes sense. What is usually considered "sexual" because "sex" to me is a concept (noun) where as to most other people it's the physical/biological act (verb).
/r/seduction30/04/21 09:46 PM

Ok yeah I get it. I just find it strange that nowadays "sex" or "attraction" are considered not safe topics lol
/r/seduction30/04/21 08:16 PM

Ok maybe take sex/attraction out of the equation? Maybe something like asking their opinion of my wardrobe? I used to be a wardrobe consultant so I mean clothes/style might be something one of also likes, yeah?
/r/seduction30/04/21 07:12 PM

“Heal” is a vague word. “Healing” can also mean to cure / to treat. That said, is trauma and mental illness curable? I’ll answer that with another question: do we have a cure for cancer? Is trauma and mental illness treatable? Of course, but you’ll basically need someone to hold your hand for the rest of your life (aka therapist) and the other trade off is that you’ll never live a normal life. So yeah it’s treatable / healable but the “living tax” becomes much more expensive compared to those wi…

Why I disagree is because of this: science and the information age. Everyone knows that chronic illnesses like breast cancer, etc. can and do get passed down to offspring. We now know that chronic psychological illnesses also get passed down to offspring as well. It doesn't matter how well-adjusted you are, it's there and in your head for good. We like to chalk it up to "character" and "coping strength" but those are intangible qualities that are immeasurable which therefore means I can, at any …

The entire progressive movement is about fighting reality and basic biology because "adaptation" is essentially regression, speaking in sociopolitical terms. I'm progressive too, I want true equality as much as your most radical feminist, however, everyone needs to practice what they preach. That's what I do! I'm an androgynous person who leans feminine so I enjoy things women like to do (i.e. talking, wardrobe, art, reading/writing, watching emotional films/shows, etc.) more than what things me…

I’m going to start “shit testing” girls and assert my moral authority/opinion on them because that’s what they do right? Edit: because you’re basically saying “lay down on the train tracks as she insults you and if you allow yourself to get run over then she’ll see that she can make fun of you and you still like her”
/r/seduction30/04/21 12:18 PM

What if I went up to them and said to one of them “hey I just got a call from your boyfriend,” as I’m holding my phone as if I was just on a call, “he says he needs to talk to you ASAP” so I guess I’m hoping they would say “I don’t have a boyfriend” rather than “you’re a stranger and you don’t even know me” would that be witty ? Is that wit? Idk

Isn’t “being there for yourself” narcissistic? I mean if you’re they’re for yourself why is she even with you? If a girl told me while we were on a date that she is here for herself and not me, I would immediately think “wow ok... do u even want me here lol?” But it doesn’t matter what she says because I already lost interest because she lost interest. And even if she says “yeah I want you here” I would just think she’s being nice and socially cordial; a lot of women feel pressure to mitigate an…

Ok you can wordsmith it all you want the feeling is still there. What I think he was asking was how to manage that “excitement” feeling because the feeling overrides his thoughts making him unable to properly function. It’s like when a computer slows down when it’s trying to process a lot of information at once.

It’s human natures social collective survival instinct. Could you imagine the population increase in an already overly populated planet? If humans made sex/procreation/intimacy simple and straightforward, they would have gone extinct long ago. Plus you have to take into account the overall social climate and the very fact that the social “tectonic plates” are shifting right below our feet. Meaning old rules are being thrown out but we’re keeping some but it’s not clear as to what those are; we’r…

I majored in philosophy so I could have a justifiable explanation for everything I do. Do you have any idea how many different theories of ethics/morality there are? It’s dangerous sometimes. But yeah those are the lengths I’ve gone through so I can justify myself. Didn’t work I still hate myself

I got socially ostracized in high school because I told a girl I like her but she called me a creep and told everyone else too. So yeah no I don’t approach women anymore. I’m 25. I’ve also been sexually assaulted in high school by a group of girls. So it’s hard for me to open and be authentic around women at all tbh High school wasn’t the best time

I've learned in my life that strangers shouldn't be underestimated. TBH I would've dismissed her from the start lol she grabbed YOUR phone made sure she followed herself from your account so that she could gain more followers lmao and after you texted her she's probably thinking fuck I don't want to lose another follower, I had to listen to this guy ramble on for god knows how long (because I was drunk)

Well good for you. I used to be socially natural until about 8 y/o when I was forced to take ADHD meds. I dont know who I am anymore and I don't know what "natural feelings" are because I've been artificially stimulating them my entire life. so good for u

Social interactions are supposed to feel natural. If they don’t, you’re not being your true self. Ok but that still begs the question: is our true self cultivated (Kongzi - Confucianism) or de-cultivated (Lao Tzu - Daoism)? I've always been a Daoist at heart so natural and organic social interactions are negated if you "warm up" as you put it. Because to me, it sounds like your "warm up" is to channel your shadow personality traits, hence being the exact opposite of your true self. I only know t…

yeah but what if she has a lot of sociopolitical capital? I mean who knows what she's telling her friends or other people she knows. Girls love talking about creepy guys because it makes them feel powerful, how easy would it be for her to just fill 20 or 30 seconds of dead conversation with a story about you being all creepy with her at the bar? I mean she was drunk, she could easily just make something up that sounds more exciting that actually was. idk
/r/seduction29/04/21 10:25 PM

no the amount of premeditation / preparation before your "sessions". and also these "sessions" themselves. Just sounds like you're subjecting random people to your prey-like social engineering pick-up strategies. I mean fuck me if I'm alone on this haha but I've always thought social interaction should be natural and organic, not calculated and strategic, no? idk

It's not immoral to want to have sex with someone. You are right and wrong. It is not wrong to want to have sex with another human. It is wrong, however, to want to have sex with another human based on the fact that you find them physically attractive. It's called objectification. How am I suppose to go to up to a woman and say "I was just objectifying you over there and thought you are attractive enough for me to want to have sex with you" I mean you can chalk it up with clever wit and "seducti…

thinking or talking about looks is immoral and makes women uncomfortable. If you tell a woman that she's physically attractive, you're basically saying I deem you worthy enough to have sex with. So you're jumping right into sex. referencing the outfit, on the other hand, still masks your true intentions of you being physically attracted to her but verbally all she KNOWS is that you like her outfit (physical attractiveness aside) it's all about linguistic coding. make sure you say the right thing…

Yeah it’s sad that baby boomers put so much pressure on the Millennials (me) to be successful academically/professionally. Baby boomers didn’t know anything about psychology so they thought we could just figure this part out on our own.

I know what you mean. Women are becoming more independent meaning they’re less dependent upon their partners which incentivizes them to break ties when something goes wrong or not as planned. Also, women don’t want guys with trauma or mental illness because they don’t want to taint their offspring with trauma and mental illness. That might sound harsh but you can’t prove it’s not true
/r/seduction28/04/21 11:37 AM

Idk why but for me all of this strategizing feels weird and unnatural. It’s almost like “dating” has become another sort of career.
