You need to detach/recover from the “marriage mindset” and start thinking with a “single mindset” again.

It takes some time because you’re still thinking that the people you’re going to meet/date is “reliable” just like you used to be with your (now ex) wife. Instead, nothing is granted and nobody owes you anything.

Having a chat or going out for a date, or getting a number means literally nothing.

Learn to focus 100% on yourself as a single individual, with your hobbies, tastes, goals, friends and life in general.

Put yourself out there with this mindset and you’ll start to understand how it works.
