I dealt with this differently: After COVID, I set up my home gym. Since then, I didn‘t need to put up with crowded gyms, women filming themselves or cameras lurking around every corner anymore. If this is not an option, I recommend a 24/7 gym, always after 10 PM though.

I get where you're coming from, but for me it’s about the optics and the narrative that follows. The whole idea is that if Steph loses, some people might see it as the league trying to manufacture a certain outcome for the sake of publicity. It doesn't necessarily matter if he's shooting in game conditions or not. If the outcome seems unlikely, given his skill level, people will talk, and not always in a good way. Men are usually judged on what they can do or provide, that's nothing new. Women have had it tough with society mostly caring about their looks, which isn't fair. Now things are changing. Sadly this is true. I was going on walks with my father when i was younger and he always used to take me by my hand (especially when crossing the road). He told me that he felt uncomfortable because so many people would just straight up observe us as if my father had bad intentions. And they were predominantly women. It’s for the best, since it is really easy to be labeled a creep nowadays. If they approach you to help them with some weights, which happened to me and my friends at least once, just help and continue with your workout. Take up a hobby where you can meet ppl for example any sport or dancing, depends on what you like. Anyway if you are a night person try to go to bars and randomly speak to people, something like small talk. The best way to attract others is to look friendly, happy and for sure have your own style!
