You sound like the women you supposedly spend so much time with. Like you’ve adopted their way of thinking, their hate of other men, their feminine competitive nature. Red Pill exists for men to work together. You might be male in stature but your mind is twisted by the shitty human beings you fuck. 48 Laws of Power: Law 48: Mirror your enemy. You’ve mirrored women so well, I think you’ve become like them.

Yeah, well, you guys have already put all of your important knowledge and experience into a PDF version of the sidebar. When I post once in a blue moon, it’s usually because the world is SO fucked that no one in my social circle of 10-20 people can talk about red pill perspectives when it comes to dating. You would understand if you weren’t just playing the audience, which is clearly not in my reddit persona’s favor.

You really understand, I’m missing one piece of the puzzle before figuring it out and slaying pussy like a warlord. I’m shy, and to my own detriment. I put up nice guy walls in order to keep people from getting too personal. In all other aspects: Statement: I have strong facial genetics. Proof: women called me handsome before I even lifted. Statement: I make a lot of money. Proof: I have no debt, a lot of investments, and a lot of professional mobility. Statement: I am well invested in myself. P…

This isn’t my first rodeo on asktrp. I’ve been on and off here for over a year. I have a copy of the pdf sidebar. I’ve read through almost all of the suggested books. I’ve taken the advice of Redditors and read The Mystery Method. I know exactly what I want, I’ve described it above. It’s not that I’m out of shape. I’m not a lean mean six pack machine, but I’ve made a lot of gains and I can hold my own. My game is mediocre and my friend group sucks. That explains the issues with women 20-25 in th…

If it’s creepy it’s due to nice guy syndrome and the challenges in overcoming it. If you didn’t grow up as a nice guy then you won’t understand it.

I would say most men who come to RP are thirsty. The art is making it so that thirst is hidden. No one becomes a sex lord who has no thirst or desire for sex. That wouldn’t make any sense.

That may depend on where you live. Relocating to the east or west coast of the US will usually result in a higher number of high quality men 33-38+. It’s sexual selection at work, you must understand. If you try to tie down a man before his sex drive has declined, you’re opening yourself and your child up to disappointment and hurt. Men have every right to naturally progress through life in a sexual/relationship manner as I have described. Very recent social norms pushed by a radical form of con…

There is a time and place for everything. That may sound like a vague platitude but I promise to explain. Men and women go through sexual phases as they age and mature. Men 18-24: good looking but poor, obsessed with childish and adolescent things, mentally not stable or grounded, constant flight risk to women due to their need to get their careers started, no matter where that is. Majority love going out and partying. Women 18-24: extremely good looking but poor, want to discover their power an…

It seems almost unhealthy how much effort needs to be put in specifically to approaching. I understand it’s part of the game and what needs to be done. But I’m sure as you’ll understand, you’re already busting your ass to be fit, to have a house, to keep up with your career. To then subject yourself to a random woman’s judgment in order to get her to sleep with you seems like a diminishing return on investment. It’s as if they’re doing all of the taking, down to the biological level.

If I keep going at the current rate of working out for 30-75 minutes per day at least 6 days a week, I’m sure I’ll continue to get leaner over time. This point for me is just a shitty phase where I obviously take care of my shape and fitness. But the last 10-20 lbs of clearly visible fat is clinging to me for dear life.

As much effort as I can afford while still remaining in control of my lifestyle and internal game. One of the workout studios I used weekly for almost a year prior to the coronavirus shutdown was predominantly women. I used it intentionally for this reason to 1) filter out women who I don’t find attractive and 2) to get comfortable being around women in a non-sexual setting. For almost all of my life there were very few women even as friends - think 1-2. I met up with friends each weekend prior …

Good is a product of nature and nurture. If a man was raised with good values by parents who exhibited those values, and he is surrounded by people with good values, then a “good guy” truly exists. If a man was raised with good values by parents who exhibited those values, but he surrounds himself with people who have bad values, then a “good guy” truly does not exist. A “good guy” does not go to a “bad guy” in a vacuum. If that guy has a lot of options for women and is overwhelmed, the default …

You have done your research and are clearly committed to a more philosophical view of RP. I respect that. What I do not respect is the askTRP community as a whole. It has its bright members who, like you, have contributed with actual research and analysis. Then there are those who indulge their caveman tendencies and do not provide any meaningful responses, only those which which polarize the reader. It is difficult to have meaningful conversations with smart people when trolls run amuck.

Fuck TRP man, that sub has declined faster than the world around us. Especially during social distancing. If you read the TRP sidebar, most of the intel is good. I second this one. Men and women my age are mostly antisocial and are skeptical of people trying to make new friends. Then again, I live in Boston, where everyone you meet is like that. A blessing and a curse.

All I get out from reading these comments is that both sexes want the end results they’re looking for before they’ve earned them. FDS, RP, whatever. I’m a man. I want sex. But there are a whole number of hoops that any man needs to jump through - whether internal or external - before getting to that end goal. In other words, there’s a solid metric shit ton of work that I need to do before landing at my finish line. Women want a man who’s going to treat them better than gold. Thoughtful dates, gi…

This is how I ended up here. One day half way through my 20s, women my age just became more standoffish and self-obsessed assholes. Getting laid suddenly felt like asking a stranger to lend a hundred dollar bill.
/r/askTRP09/04/20 10:31 PM

Maybe that depends on your age? I had a friend who used to totally screw all his buddies whenever he had an opportunity to have sex with a woman. He’s not around anymore, not by his own choice. Closer to 30 years old I thought that type of male mindset would recede.

The story makes sense to me. I was similar, and I also picked a fight with a bully at that age. Fourteen year old me decided enough was enough, no more watching him pick on smaller people. He was a black belt in karate or some shit. I got my head pounded into the gymnasium floor. The system stood up for me at that point though. Even though I threw the first punch, he got landed with a week-long suspension and me, only an in-school detention. Ultimately he won in the end. He went on to become a C…

Death is just such a big deal to me. I thought everyone else saw it exactly the same. A coworker dies, it’s not just a coworker, it’s conscious life, a stream of endless thought, a piece of the bigger whole. I say that because, with the mortality rates in the US right now for COVID-19, one would think all efforts are to avoid contagion. But most of my countrymen do not appear to be thinking on that scale.

Is it weird too that words like yours have the opposite effect on me? Like I must feed off the hate or something. It just makes me see through your eyes, which is that your life is probably a load of shit if your soul assigns such an attitude to you.

Job is to be a chemical engineer. But company leadership’s opinion is that every chemical engineer must also be a mechanical engineer, an electrical engineer, a computer engineer and a mechanic as needed. I’ve been force fed all of these disciplines over the course of 4 years with this employer. We’ll see where this goes but it’s 100% on me right now to figure out who’s going to do the work, which is also not usually the case.

If it is not a satire then what is it? “The Prince” was written over 500 years ago by Machiavelli. The term Machiavellian has been known for almost an equal amount of time. One would think that if the whole of “The Prince” was useful to men to obtain and maintain power that the world would be full of Machiavellian tyrants by now, 500 years later. Whether it was written intentionally or as satire or as deceit, it will only lead men astray. Machiavellian regimes do not stand up against the test of…

The book says early on that complaining is a major turn off and will not win you friends or influence amongst many people. It does allow for complaining when the recipients of your words are trusted confidantes. My best friend was my brother through high school. I slept on his family’s couch on weekdays, ate his family’s food, went to church with his family. There was little reason to believe he was not my confidante. We went to different colleges on opposite ends of the US. We did not talk much…

It’s a good thing that I realized. It will allow me to change my course from here. But I wish I could have back all of the times where I complained to this dude expecting him to be my confidante.

I just read Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People.” My best friend from high school had read it when he was 15. I’m 29 and I just read it for the first time. I now see why our relationship is the way that it is. Some people, including men, just want to keep appearances so they can derive utility from you and others whenever they so please to do it. And the uneducated bunch, being me in my scenario, are completely clueless to it until we also read the same book.

Media in general has destroyed men. How many mass shootings were there before social media? Before mass media? How many fucked up ways of killing people did lonely, mentally deranged individuals plan out before the existence of the CNN, Facebook and blogging? You’re onto something here, but Pandora’s box has already been opened. Only a denouement could change things now.

Option 1 is to work on your self. Sleep, read, lift, stay away from crowded places. Be ready for the end of this year and the start of 2021. I’ve done this without the coronavirus in the background for the last few years so frankly I’m over it. Option 2 is to get on apps like Hinge, talk to your social circle and extended social circle, keep adding plates this year. I can think of a few openers that will get women warmed up quickly. All of them involve coronavirus and being quarantined with me.

What about women? Most adult women I know between 23 - 40 still see dating the same way they experienced it in college. - if they want a ONS, they go to bars and clubs and get drunk (like at house parties in college) - the men they date are either their own age or at most 3 years older (like freshmen women dating senior men) - if they want an LTR, they look no further than their work circle (similar to dating people in your classes) You say the American male is a defective European and a man chi…

I’ve never been Chad so I don’t have any reference points to work off of besides what I read here. Dad was the opposite of Chad. Friends all dreamed of LTRs and finding the one. I’m trying to break out of a heavily cucked reality.

Yes and no. If she only asked for a photo then you’re completely right, I could’ve misinterpreted it. But because she then started up a convo by saying she thought I worked really hard and did well in class, it seems much more likely that she was digging for a reason to talk.

Ok, asking her out through Hinge or Bumble after a few hours THEN asking her for her number is polarizing. It is exactly what I’m doing. Yet a lot of women lose interest when I give them a week before contacting again just to clear the air and make sure I’m not over-investing and appearing needy. Because over-investing and appearing needy has been my number one ability for the last 10 years before I started making a real effort towards improving. But, maybe that’s just a red flag to me against t…

Asking a woman for her number is a very polarizing act. If you’re saying that polarizing takes more than one successful attempt or that a woman can become unpolarized, then I’m intrigued. But as I wrote somewhere else in this comment thread, asking for their number is always my go-to polarizing move.

No job is 9-5 that pays 6 figures. But being a single male in that job which requires extra time almost acts as its own form of birth control. No time to get out and be social except on the weekends. But, I couldn’t sustain my mission and lifestyle without the 6 figure job. It’s almost a paradox, you can’t have a fulfilling social presence and a truly challenging career simultaneously. This doesn’t really follow any of Models’ advice. Manson is correct in that some people, like myself, are not socially or emotionally well equipped from childhood to understand women’s dating preferences. Before 20 approaches in 2 minutes is even feasible for such people, the root cause for underlying emotional and social inadequacies has to be worked on extensively. Otherwise you’re a walking, talking can of repellent.

The problem I see is this recurring theme: Keep in mind this is not a do-this-to-get-date formula, it’s just how every one of my interactions has gone... 1a) match girl on dating app 1b) assume attraction because you matched 2) send 8-12 messages back and forth about common interests etc 3) ask to meet for a drink/coffee/get number 4) text her on her number within a couple hours of getting number. Women want to feel like they’re with a superior man. Getting ripped (and dressing the part) makes you stand out from all the competition. Simple. The challenge is not letting multiple months or years of no sex damage your brain. Because it takes months or years to achieve superior fitness, depending on your starting point.

I had probably been too narrow-minded before this realization. Too consumed by what I didn’t know, like how to maintain attraction, even if I didn’t think it was coming from a needy place within myself. It really has highlighted the importance of remaining persistent in times of change, not becoming attached to any one particular mindset.

My unscientific definition would be the number of excuses she has in her arsenal. If anti-slut shaming defenses are strong, a woman usually follows a certain philosophical, moralistic path with many pitfalls for a man of average or higher SMV. Makes sense according to the SMV curve. Culture means everything. In Thailand and Colombia, if you’re a poor or middle class woman who sleeps with a well-off foreigner, the benefit to status far outweighs the loss due to slut shaming. Hopefully as I go they’re not all looking for an LTR, since I’m not playing that game. I love that the only way I’m figuring out this stuff is by asking! Whoever told me all the answers were within was smoking something funky.

Depends on what you’re willing to spend. I recently started seriously lifting and taking supplements and envy the guys who don’t who are in better shape than me. On the other hand, I’ve always thought it would be neat to live forever. So anything that has even mediocre studies behind it suggesting enhanced longevity is appealing. I have to note that no supplement will allow anyone to live forever, but you can’t if you don’t give it an honest try. For starters: 40-100g of weigh protein during the…

you are missing the forest for the trees. I don’t get “it” and that’s why I’m here on AskTRP, trying to “get it” Creepy isn’t a genetic trait, it’s a state of mind. Part of my journey from a beta to an alpha is to figure out what’s causing this shit to haunt me wherever I go. As far as having confidence goes, even as I get into the best shape of my life (still over 15% BMI though), I’m still conditioned to being disappointed when it comes to women. 12 years of mostly rejection and sexless months…

It blows. I’ve always been misguided about the definition of attractive. My idea of attractive was way off the mark and it explained all of the dry seasons where one chick per quarter or year would come around. Most of us are stupid and misguided in our 20s. But it doesn’t make it fucking hurt any less. I’m 29 now. 21 year old chicks look at me like I’m a creep. 24-25 year olds mostly hang out with other 24-25 year olds. And all the 27+ pussy is either taken or not attracted. As a disclaimer I h…

I only truly learned the meaning of attractive this year. Indifference dominated my life until I was in my late 20s. It was lead by a misguided perception that I could never run out of time. I think it’s going to take a while starting from zero to fulfill rule 1 and 2.

My old self, who is only 6 months departed, who didn’t go to the gym with any intent, who didn’t think he needed to be more attractive to sleep with women, who preferred to spend time sobbing in a car than work on himself in a productive manner, was utterly desperate to impress women. I am trying to get to a point in my attractiveness to women where I don’t need to put in the same amount of effort just to attract. My physical trainer is my idol right now, and she’s a woman. I’ve been active on Tinder. My rationale was it has the most users and can be useful anywhere in the world. I’m aware of the rules of tinder, to be attractive and don’t be unattractive. My profile does not suck but I’m aware that it needs some high quality photos that I don’t yet have. Call tinder what you want, but it does provide a bit of help, particularly to people with few better angles.

20 women, roughly of those I can remember in 6 months. 0% success rate. The hot babe I referred to was 4 years ago. By “shoot my shot” I mean cold approach. I picked something I noticed about them and used it as an opener in some cases. Other cases I went in with lines I’d heard before. Once or twice the approach was entirely natural, no lines, no forethought. My friend group is all dudes, most of whom don’t have a following of ready/DTF women. I didn’t see a doctor about it. I don’t know what caused the excess ammonia short of WebMD’s explanation, which was liver damage. It went away within a week of quitting though so the damage was not likely serious and was reversible. Had I been less conscientious and continued regardless of the strange, new smells, the ammonia could have caused brain damage, depending on how much was present.

I took creatine monohydrate for 6 months before dropping it. It made my “excrement” smell like cat urine, which I learned was excess ammonia. Excess ammonia either means you’re burning protein instead of carbs, or you’re damaging your liver or kidneys. I restarted again recently but will be paying close attention. Also as an irrelevant aside, DO NOT supplement extra iodine. I took a vitamin D + Vitamina K + “sea iodine” supplement for 2 years. The iodine was meant for thyroid regulation which is…

That logic is too simplistic for reality. Nothing is black or white, always a mixture. Some of these comments are incel as fuck. The sexual revolution was great. Now alphas can focus on becoming as alpha as can be instead of scheming ways to invade neighboring countries. The challenge created by women being more aggressively independent is a much needed distraction and a perfect deposit box for the inevitable rage induced by male testosterone. Benches and barbells put an unnatural pressure on your shoulder joint. Better to use dumbbells as they don’t put as much awkward pressure on your shoulders. Also played football for 4 years as a linebacker and defensive end. Both positions involved striking big fat linemen in the chest with both hands, often with arms extended. Same motion in both cases. Shoulders bear the brunt of the load and are the weak point.

Honestly I wouldn’t tell a soul to focus on benching. I started benching with my gay dad when I was 14 years old and ruined my rotator cuffs for life. I made it to 225 by the time I was 21 but it was not worth the pain I experience every day. Could’ve happened if I started at 21 too.

Enjoyed the response. Benching 315 makes you a strong man. But you’ve got to realize that dudes who are too buff skirt the edges of low BMI which is ultimately what women look for in a mate. I hit 225 and diversified after that instead of trying to go higher.

The problem men face in doing this is a lack of same-group mentality. Men don’t cooperate within their sex as much as women do. It’s why men struggle at all with dating, because we suck at sharing knowledge, because we suck at acknowledging each others’ humanity, as men. Maybe this stems back to our millennia of men fighting men and men killing men in wars. Just a thought. I like yours though.

I would like to add something for introverts as well. The brain is engineered to focus on threats above anything else. You may not notice it, but your introversion in public may be linked to your brain identifying threats and taking your attention away from your goals. Removed my previous comment as it’s too off topic. But picking up women is nothing like a job interview. For a job interview, they hire the applicant with the skills and personality which most closely match the role. If the FBI is seeking applicants and one highly qualified person scores 20 of 21 total possible points while another scores 21 of 21, they’re going to pick the one with the higher score. I’m in a similar situation, in that attracting young women is nearly impossible. Lifting, gaming, frame is all important but what’s secondary to those is one thing, which can’t be forgotten: Women 18-28 are the most sought after age group by all hetero men across the world. Frankly unless your goal is to dick a different woman every night (-ish) then having 3 or more of these traits will get you by. Particularly since it’s rare to find competitive men between the ages of 20 - 30. So you’re already standing out if you possess just a few from the above list.
