First of all, I wouldn't leave my window down and then I'd lock the car doors when I got a hold of my keys again. Assuming that I couldn't roll my window up, maybe what I would do is pick the damn girl up, ask her where she wants to go (with no intention of actually going there), drive to place where I can park, proceed to park and get out of the car (here's where I hope she gets out and chases me). I then lock my car and walk away to a good vantage point. Start recording on my phone and just wa…

How do you self validate? That sounds impossible to me you have no idea, it sounds like some buddhist-monk kind of thing. It's coming to the realization that your own approval is all that matters. It's carrying out actions not as a means to an end, but instead for the action itself. For example, I like BMWs. Why? Because I really like how they drive and their styling as well. Note, this is NOT that other people will notice me and stare at my car. But it's because I genuinely like BMWs. If you pr…

from what i read it seems you guys shun female and social validation, and consider it pointless. Is this true? Yes, that's true. Any validation that doesn't derive from yourself is pointless. Otherwise, you'll constantly be seeking validation and approval from others. This is a very dangerous thing to do. And if so, how do you deal with things like social isolation? Or is that not what you guys imply? Because for me, living a life where i've tried so hard to get rid of these desires for socializ…

I think we all called this... I took a look at the edit history, and a lot was removed for "not explicitly mentioning MGTOW" and also how YouTube is not a reliable source. If the creator really wants this to succeed, might be better off making your own wiki.

That's a really good deal especially for the price/performance! Unfortunately I already built it. But I'm pretty happy. I figure down the road I can upgrade to a Kaby lake or Cannonlake for a nice discount. And yeah, right now I can play all my games at 1080p on ultra with easily over 60fps. (350 fps+ in CSGO).

I know right? One person makes a shitty picture(troll, idk? But I've never seen that posted here), puts MGTOW on it, and it instantly represents the thoughts of all of us. This is why labels are stupid. I don't really care anyways. People can think and circlejerk as much as they want.

I see what you're saying, but I'm not so sure I agree. I believe that it's still a matter of placing one's needs and desires ahead of your own. It should be a trivial decision for both nil and il. In this case, the il struggles to make a choice because there's an internal struggle of the amount love essentially. If the il loved the partner much more than himself, there should be no question as to forgo the good thing. The il believes that their partner's needs are more important than their own. …

No, I couldn't care less what people labeled us. But, the collective "we" or at least I can say for myself, don't hate women. They are what they are and I'm not afraid of them. A lot of people come in here with the assumption that we hate women, but it's false and misses the point.

I see the merit behind this, so I'll give it a shot. We know that there are many different kind of loves, but they must have a commonality for us to call them love. Succinctly put, I think that love is placing one's desires and needs above your own. I actually think that's a great definition for it. It's actually similar to yours: love, when used to express the word in its highest sense, is an overwhelming amount of motivation for the wellbeing of something or someone. And also note that it's di…

Why do you think it may be useful? I'm actually curious. Why try to redefine something? I can only speak for myself, but my core reason for MGTOW is I've seen the stories, I've heard/seen what women can do, I've taken all these inputs, done the math and decided that it's just not worth it to me. In my mind, redefining "love" seems pointless. A pen is still pen even if you call it a pluma or ペン.

My guess...they want to eat their cake and have it too. They want the power and more benefits, but also can remain choosy. Someone says something you don't like? Destroy their world! Hubby not doing what you like anymore? Take half his stuff and get rid of him! Not really digging a given compliment? Call him creepy and declare sexual harassment! It's basically maximizing their benefits while reducing their responsibility IMO.

Significantly less stress. When I was in a relationship, I had to put in so much effort to appease my SO. And inevitably, she would become angry, upset, and/or unhappy with me. All this trying to keep her happy causes stress. Stress that immediately goes away when you don't have to worry about keeping someone happy. I rather like not having to deal with their shit. Freedom to do whatever I want. For example, I can go wherever I want, when I want, eat whatever I want, wear what I want, and spend …

Funny you should say that. As I went to bed last night, I was researching and found that the amygdala is largely responsible for sexual attraction and also that very same amygdala plays a very strong part in emotional learning. I've been fortunate to avoid the life experiences that I've heard from the men hear, but I still take and internalize the lessons learned. I guess what I'm saying is that, perhaps first-hand experience is the catalyst for rewiring.

Work would be done purely for the benefit of society, not for financial gain. And since there wouldn't be enough jobs for people to do, by default the non-workers are exploiting the ones who are working. If you have 2 people, and there's a task that benefits them both, but only requires 1 person, the 1 person who doesn't do the task is exploiting the other person. They're receiving the benefits for doing absolutely nothing. The only way to prevent the exploitation is by making them both work.
/r/MGTOW03/12/15 04:07 AM
1

The very fact that not everyone would be working is exploiting the ones who are working. The non-workers just sit back and the workers will make sure they're taken care of because it's built into the society.

Back in university, I self-proclaimed as a communist, but then I realized I only liked the ideal of communism and it would never work in our world. By eliminating monetary incentives, people will become lazy. And carrying around dead weight is not in my opinion what's good for society. People will adapt to whatever circumstances they find themselves in. And those that don't die off.

Luckily for me, I don't get lonely at all. I'm always withdrawn in my head, but act amicably to people when I need to. I guess I'm an outlier. The thing I haven't figured out how to quite kick yet is my biological attractions. How to wire myself to not be attracted to certain types of females. It should be possible, just need to think about it some more.

There are a lot of thoughts bouncing through my head right now, so I'll try my best to be coherent, but no promises. Firstly, it's not a popular opinion, but there are some churches which actively encourage both men and women seek like minded godly people. My only conjecture is that love✝ makes you do crazy things. Some possible reasons might be that it was the first girl that showed the guy some attention and he jumped on that. Or, perhaps he thought she was a "keeper". Social pressures. Shotgun weddings. Both being "so madly in love" that they can't wait. I don't know, but I'm sure there's plenty of reasons. During high school, I remember I was so shocked when I heard someone was getting married at like 18. (Still am.) Also, I figure some women …

This registers with me greatly. As I see it, it's in our best interest to keep our heads down and "shut up" essentially. This is because our society has been dominated by this imperative and it appears to be growing everyday with the more progressive our society is becoming. It reminds me of the Japanese proverb: 出る杭は打たれる (deru kui wa utareru) - "A stake that sticks out will be hammered" In my opinion, the modus operandi is to not disturb the status quo. The dangers of questioning authority are …

Read this comment by /u/thrownaway_MGTOW for a nice summary of MGTOW and why checking out of the game makes sense (at least for me). Regarding your lost motivation, you need to discover your hobbies and interests again. Work towards spending more time in that as they should be fun and engaging. If not, I'd suggest finding new hobbies. Try things you've always wanted to do. Read an earlier post of mine regarding rediscovering your happiness. I hope that helps, and welcome.

Wow, nailed it. I remember when I first saw the video when the girl pushed the guy off of the ledge. I was fuming. I would recommend learning the language of the place where you most want to travel to. For me, this is Japanese. I would like to get to a level of proficiency so when I do travel there, I can explore some of the non-touristy spots as well. Japanese also has the added bonus of not being a romantic language which I find additionally challenging and keeps things interesting.

My ex and I broke up on pretty good terms. Essentially, I felt like I had to put up a facade just to "make her happy" which I guess she wasn't really happy. She also couldn't decide if she actually liked me for me or just as a replacement for her ex. I was getting really tired of her bitching about not spending enough time and I refused to play her petty games.
