You can still get laid without game if there’s mutual attraction, but like you said it’s optimizing for it.

Preselection is just like being “pre approved” and already seen as a viable option. In recurring environments multiple girls might like the same guy because others like him so they assume there’s a legit reason why
/r/seduction17/07/26 04:07 PM
2

Trying to shoot your shot in the workplace is already a tough situation, because if it doesn’t go through you’ll have to see them all the time. And the signs she’s giving off could be anything really. It’s tough to say what kind of chance you have if you haven’t really talked to her at all.
/r/seduction11/05/26 01:36 PM

Thanks. So keep the convo short but not too short?
/r/seduction02/05/26 12:20 AM

It sounds like you maxed out every possible stat on paper; have you had any romantic/sexual success at all, or just less than you’d want?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 10:10 PM
1

Probably because it’s more trendy now. Black pill was way more niche 10 years ago and now people like Clavicular have brought it to the mainstream. So dating coaches are trying to capitalize on that

You’re still very young, I had the same issue at age 20, keep going with the gym, and keep making an effort to be social. Are you able to make regular platonic friends without much trouble? How’s your social life on the college campus, are you going out to bars with your friends often?
/r/seduction12/04/26 12:47 AM

Similar for me and I’m at a similar age, I found the red pill in like late high school early college and it “worked” in that I got my first hookup from it but I still ruined the whole thing because even when I got the girl, all I could think about was “running game” on her
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 03:15 AM

Yeah I feel you, I’m age 24 male with a body count of only 1 (which was over 2 years ago). I’ve been going out to bars more often the past year to practice my rizz but at this point I just can’t hack it. I hate how unobtainable it seems even though it’s no one’s fault but my own.
/r/seduction22/12/25 05:00 PM
1

It really comes to down to your game, it sounds like you’re pretty solid on paper but without seeing you talking to girls irl it’s hard to identify what the issue is. And yeah not drinking and smoking could play a role, not encouraging those things but the guys who do that often have an easier time because they’re being social. Perhaps try talking to girls at a bar without alcohol? Could be worth a shot
/r/seduction19/12/25 02:13 PM

My biggest issue right now is that I just don’t have opportunities to meet new women on a regular basis, and while I use dating apps I’m too awkward over text to make it work
/r/seduction15/12/25 05:39 PM

My first time it took me forever to finish because I drank too much beer that night lmao
/r/seduction13/12/25 10:23 PM

Anymore than 5-6 beers and I turn into a bumbling idiot, but 3-4 beers definitely helps.
/r/seduction29/11/25 06:02 PM

While I’m grateful it’s higher than zero, and that one person I got to sleep with multiple times, I do wish it was a bit higher just to boost confidence

I was a virgin until age 22 and even then I thought that was a bit late, I couldn’t imagine being one now

Best thing to do first is get out and be social, I was a virgin until age 22

I have a tattoo on my arm already (quarter sleeve), and yeah I agree the NPC comment is dumb, but point is I dress too normally

Start doing some approaches when you’re out at the bar or during your day to day life. Don’t even focus on getting the number or date quite yet but just familiarize yourself talking to girls you think are hot to start. It’ll get easier slowly. Make sure your grooming and outfits are on point, hit the gym if you haven’t already. Then just keep talking to girls until you meet one that is into you. (Source: I was a virgin until age 22, then I had a one night stand with a girl at a party who was pre…

Yeah back when I was in college I was chatting up a couple girls at the bar with my buddy (failed 2 man operation) and this simp who went to my college swooped in and said we were “being creepy” and that he had a long term “crush” on one of the girls LOL.
/r/seduction17/07/25 07:51 PM

Bro said source leads 😭
/r/seduction17/07/25 11:42 AM
2

Exactly. Girls don’t like nice guys
/r/seduction04/07/25 02:36 PM
2

Get back in there! I need to do the same. My game has gone to shit but I still go out to bars sometimes and approach girls there but nothing has happened yet.
/r/seduction09/06/25 02:46 PM
1

Yea for me this was 2 years ago back in college when I was 22, so a couple years of gone by with radio silence, but we kinda just parted ways after I graduated and since she was a year younger I assumed she moved on to other guys. But I think about doing it all the time because it’s been a long dry spell
/r/seduction09/06/25 02:40 PM
1

I’ve been thinking the same thing about one of mine, but I don’t know if she feels the same way about me
/r/seduction09/06/25 02:33 PM

I would address the grooming first as that can make or break your appearance and attractiveness
/r/seduction29/05/25 08:29 PM

Is there anything specific that feels like an obstacle for you?
/r/seduction29/05/25 07:18 PM

Took me at least 3 years to go from awkward guy at age 18 to managing to get laid around age 21-22 but I still have a very long ways to go
/r/seduction25/05/25 02:01 PM
1

I am good looking like 6-7/10 but I haven’t had any hookup from the bars despite going about once a week, and I do approach girls there most of the time or vice versa. I don’t even know what I do wrong because my personality is fine
/r/seduction23/05/25 04:53 PM

Bro I can’t even get one girl no way I can get multiple
/r/seduction06/05/25 11:57 AM

Idk I’ve always thought that was a more extreme case, like those people were disabled or had profound social challenges
/r/seduction08/04/25 01:44 PM
1

I used the advice here and a few YouTube videos on similar topics
/r/seduction07/04/25 05:07 PM
1

It certainly didn’t come naturally to me at all. I always had trouble with social skills from a young age and was a late bloomer. I was a virgin until age 22. Didn’t have my first kiss until 20. By age 22 when I had my first girlfriend I had matured considerably compared to age 18, or even 20.
/r/seduction07/04/25 01:46 PM
1

It’s not common that a girl will straight up approach you, so there’s nothing wrong with relying on choosing signals to make the approach, which is the whole point of the girls doing the signals in the first place. I mean think about it, they’ve had to deal with so many random dudes coming up to them who they have zero interest in and didn’t even signal to.
/r/seduction27/03/25 03:44 PM
4

Bro it’s great that you’re focused on work, but going out is important to build those social muscles with new people, the more people you know the better. Sounds like you have a good foundation of social life, now build on that
/r/seduction27/03/25 12:23 AM
3

It was a nice moment sure, that girl became my first ever girlfriend but we didn’t last longer than 5 months. After the breakup I got really complacent with game and meeting girls, and now 2 years later at age 24 I feel like I’m starting from square one. So good and bad.
/r/seduction27/03/25 12:22 AM
45

Bro, the first step is to eliminate the narrative of “I just can’t get girls,” I struggled with the same mentality for many years, and I didn’t lose my virginity until I was 22. How often do you go out? And how often are you approaching?
/r/seduction26/03/25 11:08 PM
1

I’m struggling with the same thing. I was a nerdy kid like you, high functioning autism as well, very few friends growing up, no father figure, but wasn’t diagnosed until adulthood. I started getting really into hitting the gym around age 17 or 18, and I luckily ended up pretty tall by the end of high school. I noticed big changes in college socially like you too, finally broke out of my shell and went to parties, social events, etc. I didn’t lose my virginity until age 22, that was my first rel…

Thanks for the advice, these are some good tips. And yeah, I rarely see her but she has worked here longer than me and because of that, is more connected with the others, so I do often worry that if it goes sideways that she will gossip about me. But honestly idk
/r/seduction23/03/25 12:24 AM
1

She works in the same building but has a different job role. There’s a small break room but I don’t often see her there. This place is big, so I can’t predict when she’ll be there.
/r/seduction22/03/25 02:58 PM
3

Yeah I think some might be more than others. Some guys just have the it factor I guess, but you can definitely still learn and improve. Also some of us were raised differently and nobody was dealt the same hand in life, some of us have been through heavy shit in the past.
/r/seduction22/03/25 02:10 AM
2

Yes that makes sense, I definitely put her on a pedestal in my head, so naturally I froze up when I saw her. I even spent more time today talking to a different girl at work who I’m not as attracted to but has a good personality, funny how I’m on my game unless I’m actually attracted lol
/r/seduction22/03/25 02:04 AM
1

Idk
/r/seduction22/03/25 01:45 AM
2

Yea the first conversation I had with her was fine, nothing special but idk how to escalate
/r/seduction21/03/25 11:27 PM
1

Bro you have a handsome face and a nice physique from what I saw, it is definitely not a looks problem. I am having a similar problem but let me ask what does your approach generally sound like step by step? At what point in the conversation do you get rejected?
/r/seduction23/02/25 03:07 PM

Excellent point
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/25 05:18 PM

I don’t really see it that way, sure some men are too desperate but the majority are just trying their best to put themselves out there and meet women by any means possible, it’s getting hard out there especially with the woke agenda that makes the straight white male out to be the boogeyman for no fault of their own, and with things like DEI being used to discount our merit. When your demographic is being demonized for the actions of only a few men imagine what it’s like for the average honest …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/25 05:17 PM
16

Bro it’s ok sounds like you learned your lesson. Reminds me of some awkward moments back in college. Please do not be too nervous to escalate, I missed out on a lot of girls that way. I was always ok at getting them to my place but was too scared to escalate in fear of a me too incident. If they’re at your place then you’ve mostly sealed the deal about 80 percent and they’ll welcome the physical contact.
/r/seduction20/02/25 03:15 PM
1

Probably just that they were raised by a masculine man instead of a liberal effeminate one
/r/seduction30/01/25 07:57 PM
4

Yeah the cultural difference can help sometimes, I must stick out like a sore thumb here lol because people ask me where I’m from almost immediately due to speech patterns and accent, I think some girls are just turned off by it right away
/r/seduction19/01/25 08:01 PM
2

Usually keep it basic to start, hey how’s it going, etc. then converse a bit more, I would say the opener is not the hard part for me but maintaining it is. Body language is decent and I maintain a deep tone of voice.
/r/seduction19/01/25 07:59 PM
5

Bro, everyone is different. I lost my virginity at age 22 and am 24 now. I was a late bloomer with autism. For some of us it’s just gonna be on a different timeline. There’s no deadline.
/r/seduction17/01/25 06:07 PM
7

The only way to get better is practice. It’s better to get some rejections under your belt than going out and not even trying. Along the way you’ll improve your conversation ability and it will feel less daunting. Practice talking to everyone when you go out, guys and girls, focus on having a fun night instead of simply getting laid, when I’ve been successful was when I went out with no intentions.
/r/seduction15/01/25 08:21 PM
1

I was 22 when I lost my virginity, I remember the night vividly. During the day prior, I had absolutely zero expectation that I would hook up the following night. I was drinking beers in my dorm room and got invited to a party last minute. I decided to go but still didn’t expect anything, was simply planning to go out and have a fun night. But lo and behold, it happened that night. I met a cute girl on the balcony smoking a cigarette. I was half drunk but my brain just kept screaming at me escal…
/r/seduction02/01/25 04:05 PM
2

You gotta get out there and practice broski, go out to the bar at least 1 or 2x a week and just get comfortable talking to different girls there. Then work on escalation. Try to apply what you learn in the book when you’re out. Don’t get stuck just researching but instead practice practice practice

/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 01:27 AM
1

Thanks, and yeah today she has actually texted me just randomly to see how I am doing and my holiday plans and such, I don’t get it, I made a pass at her and she doesn’t even seem mad? I kept worrying all day long that I upset her by trying to make my intentions clear last night
/r/seduction23/12/24 02:22 AM
2

Thanks
/r/seduction22/12/24 06:53 PM
1

I just worry about doing the physical escalation improperly which would make it even more of a turn off. Like touching in the wrong ways. It doesn’t come naturally to me, is there somewhere that explains it?
/r/seduction22/12/24 06:23 PM
5

Godspeed soldier, you’re doing the hard work. Let us know how it goes. I am too autistic to try day game yet lol, I’ve only done night game
/r/seduction18/12/24 03:57 PM
2

Hell yeah bro!!! I’m trying to get over my approach anxiety at the moment too. Once I get into a conversation I’m fine but the initiating is so hard.
/r/seduction16/12/24 06:54 PM
2

Bro chill I get the basic concepts on an intellectual level, again with autism it’s hard to apply in real time. And I can’t really afford to have “standards” I’ll take any girl who isn’t downright repulsive lmao
/r/seduction13/11/24 03:39 PM
2

Thanks. On number one that is something I can accomplish sometimes as I have been told I can be quite funny sometimes. Number 2 seems self explanatory, number 3 used to be a big problem especially when I tried to date back in uni, but nowadays I don’t seek approval as much. Numbers 4-6 I’m not quite sure I understand though
/r/seduction11/11/24 04:00 PM
1

Yeah luckily no one has asked me anything like that. I just worry it’s obvious in a subtle way no matter how I act. The first time I had sex it was surprisingly much easier than I expected
/r/seduction11/11/24 03:02 PM
1

I understand what you mean, but I still don’t know how to create attraction just by speaking. What do I even say that doesn’t sound cringey?
/r/seduction10/11/24 06:47 PM
1

I see what you mean but I don’t know how to convey emotions because my mind is very logical
/r/seduction10/11/24 06:46 PM
2

I see what you mean. I have never had a girlfriend but with my former friend with benefits we met at a party and fucked that same night, then from that point on met up only to have sex and that’s it. At least I knew she was very attracted to me sexually and she even said so, regardless if I may have wanted more
/r/seduction10/11/24 01:16 AM
2

No I haven’t asked them yet. It’s not that I’m intimidated by them but I just feel jealous. In fact, many of them are skinnier and not as attractive and I simply don’t understand what’s appealing about them, but my theory is that they’ve had more positive social feedback which has made them more confident. Some of these men are so feminine that they look gay. They probably had relationship practice at an early age in high school (which I didn’t have), and then again in college (which I barely ha…
/r/seduction09/11/24 09:32 PM
2

I don’t know
/r/seduction09/11/24 09:27 PM
1

Yeah that pretty much sums it up. Usually when I’m out at the bar I’m not too anxious about what other guys are doing because the alcohol numbs me, but the next day is horrible. And yeah day game might be better but I sometimes get anxious talking to girls without alcohol. I wish I knew other guys like me because it seems like I’m completely alone in this, and that nobody relates to it. And yeah I’m becoming an alcoholic because of it too, and as a man no one wants to hear me “bitching” about it…
/r/seduction09/11/24 06:29 PM
1

Thanks I appreciate it. Yes I feel extremely depressed and I’m sure the alcohol isn’t helping. I just feel really down about myself. I see guys my age and younger have multiple relationships and just get casual sex so easy, I just don’t get how. A lot of them don’t even seem particularly charming or cool honestly. Idk what it is about me that is so repulsive besides minor autism but it’s just that I don’t know what I’m doing and girls have no patience or sympathy. I have nobody who I can talk to…
/r/seduction09/11/24 06:17 PM
3

Yeah I usually have fun while I’m drinking but then when I wake up the next day I feel terrible about myself and I think back to how cringey i acted
/r/seduction09/11/24 05:30 PM
1

Yeah I figured she was interested. I mean, she approached me not the other way around. I cant honestly remember exactly what she said though, but I’ve been watching some YouTube videos about passing shit tests and improving conversation
/r/seduction03/11/24 05:35 PM
1

Yeah it was challenging in the moment. I think I interpreted it as her having mixed signals which kind of made me go nonverbal. I didn’t even say anything back, I think I just had a sip of beer lol
/r/seduction01/11/24 04:07 AM
1

I realized it shortly after the interaction
/r/seduction31/10/24 10:20 PM
1

Yes. When a girl is attracted to you the conversation should flow easily, ideally
/r/seduction09/10/24 02:05 AM
1

Yes. I have come to realize it is beneficial to err on the side of forward ness. I am a naturally shy introverted guy so I’m gonna try to really be as assertive as possible
/r/seduction09/10/24 02:04 AM
2

Sounds good. Thought I’m reluctant because I’ve heard from certain sources that complimenting is a bad thing, that it signifies that you’re putting her on a pedestal. Is that something to worry about?
/r/seduction09/10/24 02:02 AM
1

What do I say to establish that?
/r/seduction09/10/24 02:00 AM
2

Yeah it is legal here and I smoke it every night, I might just stick to that instead of weed + booze
/r/seduction28/09/24 01:16 PM
1

Yeah I figured
/r/seduction28/09/24 10:37 AM
4

Yeah I agree, and I would say that fortunately I’ve been able to improve my social skills, just not to the point that I hoped. At 23 now I’m definitely better than I was at 18. Honestly looking back I just cringe at my behavior, which I suppose is a sign of improvement. But there’s something I’m just missing, and it’s hard to identify exactly what it is. Sometimes it seems like neurotypical people have a sixth sense about it. I appreciate you having a no bs attitude because seeking help from oth…
/r/seduction27/09/24 10:29 PM
2

Yeah I get it, rejection is just really tough for me and makes me wanna hide even more
/r/seduction27/09/24 09:16 PM
5

I’ve felt like there’s something wrong with me forever now, and when I was a teenager it was even worse. I think I mask pretty well nowadays but apparently not good enough. Social interactions that are with other men and with women platonically are usually fine. But I cannot get girls no matter what. I am a loser
/r/seduction27/09/24 09:07 PM
7

Yeah it’s weird because I feel somewhat confident except for with this, it’s like the elephant in the room
/r/seduction27/09/24 07:40 PM
5

Great advice thanks
/r/seduction27/09/24 07:39 PM
11

I think appearance wise I’m fine but yeah the social skills could definitely use some work
/r/seduction27/09/24 07:36 PM
1

Ok thanks appreciate it
/r/seduction27/09/24 07:22 PM
1

I think if I did that I would have a panic attack unfortunately. I need to drink about a case of beer before I even think about approaching
/r/seduction27/09/24 07:18 PM
1

Yeah maybe I’ll try. Alcohol makes me feel neurotypical. I’m an alcoholic
/r/seduction27/09/24 07:16 PM
-1

I’m 23 and was a virgin until age 22 so I’m still very very inexperienced. It is over for me
/r/seduction27/09/24 07:13 PM
2

I’ve been trying to go hard in gym and my physique is getting better but I can’t change my personality enough
/r/seduction27/09/24 07:05 PM
1

Yeah I would do anything to be normal. I wish I was dead
/r/seduction27/09/24 07:04 PM
2

Damn that’s awesome. How did you do it?
/r/seduction27/09/24 07:01 PM
2

I’ve never once cared about what a woman does for work, I only care about whether she looks good and has a personality that clicks with mine
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/24 05:26 PM
1

I think it was the second time actually, first time we didn’t do much but just hug and sit next to one another
/r/seduction09/09/24 01:40 AM
13

I’m my experience it was being too hesitant and not escalating fast enough. We had already kissed and she had said her roommate wouldn’t be home but somehow I didn’t get the hint and eventually she got fed up that I was so nervous and hesitant. That was back when I was a virgin though
/r/seduction07/09/24 05:45 PM
2

So it seems obvious you need confidence to get girls, but not really the other way around?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/24 03:27 PM
43

Casual sex is risky for women, so if they’re gonna do it they might as well do it with the best possible option
/r/seduction05/09/24 08:28 PM
1

I don’t see why it matters what you say as long as you’re content with your life. There are guys living at their parents who smoke weed and drink all day who pull regularly, and guys making seven figures asking where to meet women.

Yeah I feel like that’s just part of being young and insecure. I did similar shit at one point, and knew many guys who did the same

Confidence for me came from life experience and gaining more insight into myself. Even 5 years ago I was pretty different, was just an average stoner kid hoping to make it out there in the world

When I go to a bar alone sometimes, I usually start by chatting with the guys, then move on to the girls. Often the guys will introduce me anyways if they like talking to me, and I’ll sit down with them somewhere and hang out for a bit.

I was very thin as a teenager, but tall, and the height didn’t really help me much in my experience, given my small musculature. I did a heavy bulk to about 100 kg over the course of 4 years, got very strong in the gym, but had a bit of a beer gut. That didn’t help much either, but I noticed marginally more attention than when I was scrawny. Once I cut down to about 90 kg, that was the perfect spot for me at 6’2. Decent sized arms, not ridiculously muscular but solid, and a leaner stomach but no…

Totally relate. I’m autistic, so I’m playing this game on hard mode. Didn’t even lose my virginity until 22, almost 23 now. It’s continued to be an uphill battle. I can mask as relatively normal now but every day I find even more mistakes in my social skills.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/24 06:10 PM

Do you not respect them, or is it just that you’re physically repulsed by them? I’m a bit confused how the word “respect” plays in here. In my experience, I’ve viewed that word as more to do with character traits, not so much appearance.

The men you described are normally uneducated, have some kind of substance abuse/mental health problems, and are often of a lower socioeconomic status. They’re not necessarily psychopaths. There are also men with an edgier dress style/tattoos who are good, respectable men. It says more about the women if that’s what she’s attracted to. Maybe she thinks “I can fix him.” Maybe she’s grown up around similar men. There’s no way to really know why.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/23 05:13 PM

It really depends how they reject. If it’s a polite “no I’m not interested” then that’s totally fine. If I’m trying to talk to a girl and she nonverbally shows disinterest (facing away, short answers, etc.) I have no issue with that. But when they have to jump straight to attacking my character, then yeah; that’s a problem. This applies to scenarios unrelated to dating, too.

Definitely agree, especially with the gym part. Gym culture has really taken off lately. When I started lifting in high school it was only starting to get more popular for the average guy to hit the weights. Most of my friends didn’t lift back then. Now, pretty every guy I know lifts weights in some capacity. Many of them are advanced lifters even.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 05:34 PM

They like the gym. Some are attractive, others aren’t, simple as that really. They seem like pretty normal girls

I’ve been pretty annoyed with my receding hairline. It’s genetic because my dad is bald and had the same thing when he was my age. Despite being tall and built, and having a friendly face, I feel like my hairline makes everything look terrible. I also look way older than my age. I’m 22 and people regularly mistake me for being 30.

AMS is “Alpha Male Strategies.” He’s a YouTuber. I don’t try to dominate the conversation, first of all. Sometimes I can’t tell whether they want to speak or not. The repetition of phrases is something I’ve done since I was a kid, and I’m only more conscious of it now.

And on your latter point, yes. Of course, being short and ugly is a disadvantage, but it’s not the end of the world I’d imagine. A friend of mine is a short Asian guy with a skinny fat build, and he’s very charismatic and can get women. However, he has a habit of playing the numbers game to the extreme, and hitting on every girl at the function. So it’s more like for every 20 girls he talks to, maybe 2 of them are interested. Sure. I was never told to “change it” per se, I always believed blue pill advice like be yourself and stuff. After awhile I started to think my entire personality was the issue, and that I needed to revamp it as a whole. I’ve only had this happen once in my life. Had a girl in a college class freshman year who didn’t even seem to notice I existed (I barely noticed her either), fast forward 2 years and I’ve bulked up and looksmaxxed, slightly better social skills, bam we’re in the same class again together. Next thing I know she’s sitting next to me every class, talking to me during class, and often asking if I’m gonna be at the bar that evening (I had never seen her at the bar before). Yeah this is why I’ve gravitated towards the manosphere. People can say what they want about it, but I actually find it really helpful. I’m not “changing” my personality, just trying to figure out the nuances of social interaction that my autistic ass can’t seem to get on my own.

I go to college right now, but it’s a liberal arts one not a big research university. I would say, I’ve noticed girls here don’t seem to be attracted to the overly masculine types. There aren’t a ton of athletes here either.

I feel you cuz I’m on the spectrum too and it’s tough. I never know whether someone likes me back or is just polite. Hell sometimes I barely know if someone is being polite in the first place. Sometimes I wrongly assume that someone is interested in me which is obviously awkward and something I want to avoid. On the other hand, I find out someone has had a crush on me years ago and I had zero idea.

Yeah it’s weird bro. My buddies are perfectly average to above average looking anyway, at least in my opinion. A couple of them have been laid or had LtR’s in the past, but at least another couple have never even kissed a girl. I feel bad man, it shouldn’t have to be that way for them. They don’t go around complaining about it but you can tell it bothers them deep down.

I’m in college right now and yes it’s definitely a topic. More and more people I know are struggling with dating and a lot of guys I know are virgins as well (we’re in our early 20’s). Keep in mind these are pretty normal dudes, so it’s definitely becoming a bigger issue.

I’ve got a couple social groups, but the number of guys to girls is overwhelmingly guys. I rarely interact with any girls I work with, either, unless I have to. I’d rather not impose since I doubt it would be well received.

I’ve certainly thought about it, but I sure as hell have never done it. I’ve seen some videos of girls calling guys out for acting creepy in the gym, so I’d rather not bother anyone while at the gym. I occasionally talk to some of the other male lifters, though.

Yeah I wish mine were big, it’s one of those muscles that’s hard to grow because you’re using it all the time, so it needs significant load to force muscle growth. I’ve been adding some calf raises at the end of my workouts and focusing on doing the reps slow and controlled, making sure to squeeze at the top of each rep.

Not actively at all, no. I’ve been kinda preoccupied with other stuff going on in my life as of lately, but even before that I didn’t try all that often. But my calves are still stick-like, so I’ve decided to hammer those hard at the end of my lifts. I don’t know that being an “ectomorph” has any bearing on that. For the record, the somatotypes idea has been debunked. It’s pseudoscience at best. It was originally used as a way to link physical build with criminality and personality. If you’re too skinny and want to get bigger: eat more and start lifting. If you’re too fat and want to be leaner: stop eating so much, hit the weights and increase the cardio. Simple as that. Someone being an “ectomorph” (aka skinny) doesn’t have any correlation …

Also what is ugly? That’s a pretty ambiguous term. Is ugly a guy who’s 300 lbs drinking Mountain Dew every fuckin day or is ugly a guy who looks normal otherwise but has a big forehead? What about a guy who’s good looking overall but has a receding hairline? A guy who’s got a handsome face but too much body fat? I think the confusion is what does ugly even mean. That’s such a broad term. I don’t think I’m ugly. I know I’m not super good looking or anything, but I look like a normal guy. Most guy…

I have the same disorder. It’s a real challenge and I do a good job of hiding it but I’m terrified of getting rejected. My ego is super fragile and sometimes it’s hard to identify exactly what’s going to set me off. Especially with the splitting part, if a girl doesn’t find me attractive I tend to not only be frustrated at her, but vehemently hate her for it, as unreasonable as it is.
/r/seduction19/09/22 03:51 PM
2

Yeah but my problem is I can’t ever pick up on any nonverbal cues that well, how do I even determine this? I don’t think I’m ugly or anything but I’m not sure, could I send you a photo over private message?
/r/seduction19/09/22 03:46 PM
6

Amen to that, if she doesn’t find me attractive than I have no interest in even interacting with her again
/r/seduction19/09/22 03:44 PM
7

That’s why I’m reluctant to do it. I already have a profound fear of rejection and the last thing I want is to be penalized for trying my best to put myself out there. It’s difficult to feign context and connection with a stranger anyways. Not to mention I’ve overheard some girls say that they find the cold approach guys annoying and cringe a lot of the time, which discourages me even more.
/r/seduction15/09/22 06:53 PM

Yeah this is the main problem that’s holding me back I think. I generally don’t talk to very many women at all. I kinda thought most guys were like that for awhile until I realized that I couldn’t remember the last time I engaged in conversation with a girl who wasn’t a family member or authority figure. I get very afraid of rejection and that usually prevents me from attempting in the first place. I keep hoping that I’ll just be in the right place right time but obviously that’s not realistic.

It’s more about commanding value as an individual, which isn’t necessarily correlated with status. Obviously if you’re of a low socioeconomic status it’s going to be hard to mingle with folks of a higher one, but it’s not impossible.

I don’t think that’s exactly what causes school shootings, first of all. It’s probably one factor of many. And I know as a virgin myself that I usually don’t find myself angry at other people, more just at myself for my failures.

You sound like you’ve got a good handle on your life currently, so just keep busting your ass at the gym. That’s what I’m doing. Other than that I’m kinda in the same situation but still in undergrad. Granted I didn’t go outside much last year, let alone go to the bar. Idk man everything seems so unnecessarily hard. Especially being aspie and all I have to make the conscious effort not to act strange. /r/seduction03/07/22 03:08 AM

You don’t have to talk shit about others man. Not that I’m successful in seduction at all, I just don’t think it’s worthwhile to your friends. There’s a difference between shooting the shit and blatantly insulting someone else.
/r/seduction15/05/22 05:42 PM

In that order? Alright then that’s a lot to keep in mind but I guess as men it comes somewhat naturally since it’s what we’re biologically programmed to do

Yeah my attempts are certainly a bit sporadic. Oftentimes when I go to the bar I end up just chilling with my mates (other men), which is usually really fun. One of my best friends is in a similar situation. He used to have a girlfriend but they broke up years ago. Hasn't had any action in several years, and he's struggling a bit too. He's the most similar to me personality wise as well, but looks wise maybe slightly below if I'm being honest. Great guy for sure. We often discuss it together but…

Yeah you're right honestly I was being a bit too negative in the original post. And you're certainly not the first to call me out on my negative attitude in general. But I'm kinda strapped at the moment financially, still recovering from some hefty debts actually, but I've finally been able to put aside just a tiny bit of savings. First of all, I don’t read the black pill, never have. I’m aware of the basic concept, but I don’t look at that. Nor do I use this account frequently for that matter. And sure, girls don’t care about my fitness stats but it’s helped me get a lot more muscular than I used to be, which is self reassurance mostly. And if it was as easy as walking outside and saying hello I’d have no reason to post here. I understand what you’re getting at, but I’ll admit you’re not being very helpful.

Yeah I workout a few times a week. I’ve been lifting weights since I was pretty young, and I’m pretty active but heavyset. I think I’m gonna start watching my diet a little more carefully. It’s probably my best trait to be honest. At least last year during my first year of university, I made friends pretty easily and a good amount of them, so I was around a lot of girls, and even if they weren’t necessarily attracted to me, they still saw me often enough to make the assumption that I’m a sociable guy who can make friends, so that may be a bit more attractive possibly. Not exactly. Rep range is actually a fairly arbitrary way of looking at hypertrophy. Hypertrophy is driven by progressive overload (volume, time under tension, metabolic fatigue) primarily. People usually think of high rep sets as being more conducive to muscle growth, because it allows you to get more volume in one set, instead of spreading it across multiple sets. Lower rep sets can definitely cause muscle growth. However, there are differences in training for size and strength. They overlap a…

Most guys just want to look fit in a shirt, but for me, if I don’t feel “big” in a shirt, it will definitely make me feel less confident that day. I don’t have a gut or anything, I know I don’t look “bad” in a shirt; but my expectations for myself are through the roof.

Hey bro, I relate a lot. I don’t struggle with height like you, but I’m pretty ugly looking to be honest. I’m also a drug addict (recovering at the moment) with very few redeeming qualities. Girls seem repulsed by me too, the only good thing on me physically is high muscle mass and good body frame, but even then, I just look like a compensating gymcel. I’d like to think my personality is good, but fuck man, it’s not like these women will ever know, they don’t give me any chance. As a result of t…

Haven’t deleted it, but fuck that shit. I still have an account but rarely ever post. I have maybe 5 posts total from the last 5 years. I don’t even have a profile picture. You can tell by looking at my account that I must be a loser. I’m mostly a lurker on insta, but man that app infuriated me.

I come across as a fairly confident guy, but it’s really a matter of faking it until you make it. Once you fake it long enough, you get used to the patterns. It wasn’t until my grandmother told me that I seemed a lot more confident that I knew it was working. People who don’t see you as often will definitely notice a change. I’m starting to realize that there’s nothing inherently wrong with me, it’s just that I’ve had a difficult time with some things compared to others. I’ve noticed from my con…

Yeah in college I bet fitting well is good. The pants have a decent fit but the sweatpants are kinda on the baggy side. The hoodies fit fine I suppose. I always make sure to keep them very clean and in good repair.

Well body wise I’m more like a linebacker, face wise similar to jimmy tatro supposedly. I’m 6 foot in height.

Yeah that sounds rough man. I’m a decent looking guy (so I’ve been told) and sometimes I’ll see some girls staring at me in my everyday life. Didn’t really happen much till this year because I lost some weight and cleaned myself up a lot. I’m not used to it and I’m a pretty anxious guy in general, so I don’t know how to deal with it. I’m still clueless how to get girls though, 19 year old virgin.

I’m big in a shirt, so probably 15-16 percent body fat. I’ve got the physique of a football player, weird how I’m a virgin lollll

Yeah I’ll try, I really shouldn’t be worried about consequences, there aren’t any. I consider myself a good option for some girls, i need to remember to feel confident in myself because I’m really a decent looking guy who’s just a little late to the game is all

Yeah I’ve got a pretty muscular build, I’m 6’0 205 and I fill out a medium pretty good, to where people think I’m like a muscle bro. I wore it out one time and some girls were staring, of course I’m too much of a pussy to approach any lol, so I’m still not gonna get laid regardless of my body.

Thanks man. The fact that she gave me her number shows that I was at least gave off a good vibe. I’m mostly proud of myself for putting myself out there instead of playing rocket league all night like I woulda done a year ago. Now that I think of it, I never would’ve imagined this happening a year ago.

Yeah I’d love to see her again, I just worry that she isn’t really interested in me. When I had asked for her number, she kinda paused for a couple seconds before giving me it. Additionally, she looked like she was a year, if not two years, older than me.

Alright thanks. I just feel like at 3 days she might not be interested anymore

Thanks for the tips! As for the haircut, that’s a perfect example of what I’d like to get, since my head shape is basically the same as the guy in the photo. And as far as social circle goes, I’m definitely gonna go to parties with some friends, I think that’s a good idea for not looking like a loser, hopefully

Thanks for the advice! Going off of your point on 7, how should I show I’m interested without being too much? My main problem is that I tend to be sort of an all or nothing kinda guy, and I have a hard time finding a good medium between things. What kinds of things should I say/do to convey that I’m interested in a girl without being like (as you said), let’s smash?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
