True, I guess I just kind of feel like an ass if I know I could reply to the text and decide not to just to avoid getting too invested. Thanks for your help. I do really like this girl (even before we had sex, we just connected really well), but I don't want to get attached if it's not too feasible of a dating situation, and if she is interested in hooking up with others as well. I suppose the best thing to do will be to casually reply to her texts, let her initiate contact for the most part, an…

What if she's the one that is constantly initiating contact? Do I still try and space out my replies and just not reply at some points?

I see.. I actually talked to some friends about it and they said the same thing, so I guess that is what I'll go with. To be honest, I really like the girl, but if she's going through this sleep-around phase and lives far it doesn't seem feasible to date her. I guess I'll keep things casual, try not to get attached, and see where it goes from there =] Any tips for keeping it casual via text until I see her again? I try to wait a bit before texting or snapchatting her back, but she tends to reply…

Thanks man :) I like your minefield analogy haha! I mean, she already contacted me today and seems interested in keeping contact. She lives quite a ways away though, and while I'd be down to visit every couple of weeks, I'm not sure if I could be in ANOTHER long distance relationship because the first one was brutal. I'm kind of at a standstill because while I really, really like her, the fact that she basically told me she wants to hook up with random guys was a turn off for me. It basically le…

Honestly, the girl is amazing and I'd love to date her (based on her personality, not just her being cute). However, she is sending me mixed signals as to what she wants - she'll say she wants me to ask her out again when she's in town, go on a date, etc, but told me during sex that she doesn't want a relationship rn because she just got out of one, and wants to fuck around with different guys. That in and of itself is a huge turn off, which is why I'm at a standstill. Do I play it casually and …

Not really.. I guess what I'm asking is: She's sending me mixed signals as far as what she wants. How do I go about keeping in contact with her and "moving forward" depending on what she wants? ex. How do I go about moving forward if she doesn't want to actually date (despite the fact that she said multiple times she wants to go on another date with me)? How do I go about moving forward if she tells me she wants to date, but is fucking around with other guys right now? etc.

While I feel like this is certainly a possibility and can happen, I feel like it shouldn't be assumed that the issues holding her back from hanging out and that she could just be making excuses because she feels bad. I actually just posted a thread here asking for advice on something like this, haha. I'm hoping that the case is the same as yours, but it's hard to not be discouraged when it happens multiple times from multiple women :/

Definitely agree with /u/DamienDieckeSOA, but just a word of precaution from someone else who has gone on an actual date with Tinder.. Do not invest everything into her (keep your options open so you're not heartbroken if she loses interest), it will (most likely) scare her off. I really liked the girl, we vibed really well, but I invested too much into her after the second date, instantly replied to her texts, always tried to talk to her etc. Anyways, sounds like you're doing great and know wha…

Fortunately I've made pretty good with most of my professors in my minor, and potentially have a job opportunity (fingers crossed). The only thing I haven't really attempted on campus is asking girls outside of class for numbers. :x True. I guess it'll come naturally with self improvement? I've set some goals for myself, trying new things, etc.

^ THIS THIS THIS. OP, I recently made the mistake of putting a girl who was interested me and incredible on a pedestal. While I thought I was being sweet and charming, I was actually coming off as too needy and worried about keeping her interested in me. Needless to say, it ended up blowing up in my face and got to the point where I had to delete her number etc when she broke things off.

What are some ways to improve your self confidence/inner game, particularly after a rejection? In my case, really had a thing for a girl, went out a couple times, she didn't reply to me later on and I AFC'd so hard she just stopped contact. My confidence is shot, but I'd like to start improving again. I have approx 1 week left of college before I'm gone forever - any tips for how to make the best of it in regards to getting dates/numbers/future prospects? Thanks as always :)

Hey, first of all thank you for posting this - it's the kick in the ass I needed. That being said, I do have a couple of questions if you don't mind me asking: Isn't it better to build attraction first in a short convo instead of straight up pulling her aside and asking her out? Any tips for this part? If the girl has made eye contact with you multiple times throughout the semester, I'm sure she knows I'm interested. However, I've chickened out like three times now and it's getting harder every …

Going to a field trip tomorrow morning, cutie from class will be there. Need some last minute pointers! Particularly on how to keep conversation without making myself seem stalkish, and deciding whether to ask her out or just try to get a number (as well as how). Background stuff: I've only talked to her once, a couple of weeks ago. Introd myself and talked a little about class but got cut off awkwardly by the professor and had to go inside. Fieldtrip will be about an hour, lots of walking. I'm …

I've actually started applying that mindset, but it hasn't fully kicked in yet (especially when a drop dead gorgeous girl seems into me, I completely lose it :/). It'll definitely be a journey, but I think I'll get there eventually :)

I think I reply way too quick (apparently my responsiveness in the office doesn't translate well with girls, haha) for one, and it probably makes me come off as needy or "omg I need to reply before she forgets about me!!1!". Looks like you did great, good luck :)
/r/seduction06/11/13 11:00 PM

Kinda figured it was a no, but being a noob I cared too much and double checked, haha. Wow, reading that example I didn't think it was going to get any better but you sure turned it around. I try to continue the convo for a little after I get their number as I read somewhere that it reduces flakiness, but I definitely need to just move on and get over it if they're not worth the time. Thank you for the reply :)
/r/seduction06/11/13 10:57 PM

Yeah, that's true. Thank you. I'm kinda taking it one step at a time, so now that I'm actually getting numbers it's like a whole different playing field haha.

Any tips for getting the confidence to call? I feel like it's so "taboo" nowadays since everyone just texts haha. I have no problem calling people for business purposes, but for some reason it just feels awkward to do it as a means of social communication. Bad habit I suppose.

Yeah, another person gave me similar advice too. I think I bullshit around too much on text before asking them out and they lose interest. When you say "if she's interested, she'll show", do you suggest just telling her a time and place and showing up anyways in hopes that she does? We were gonna check out a movie she was talking about, so I dunno how that'd work lol.

So don't use it to build rapport/attraction at all? I feel I'm not "qualified" enough in her eyes to ask her out on a date without hardly speaking to her, but maybe that's where I'm going wrong..

So for #1, you would recommend just leaving it right there, or further pursuing contact? True, I guess I've never AMOGd before but I definitely could have introduced myself to them and led the conversation.

Would you phrase asking for the number as a question or statement? i.e. We should exchange numbers. As much as I want to go up to random girls on campus, I always feel hella awkward doing it, especially if they're with a friend. Then I know that I'll never see them again and get sad :(

When you're texting a girl (or talking via Tinder, in this specific case), when should you re-initiate conversation if she didn't respond to your last text? A day later? Two hours later? I don't want to come off as needy, but at the same time I don't want her to "forget" about me. How do you come up with situational openers? I feel like when I'm out I can never think of anything interesting to open with, and usually just tap her on the shoulder, smile, and say "Hey". It works for starting a conv…

Excellent tips, thanks! I've been looking for something like this :) Question though - how do you hold a conversation sitting down? I feel like I can't kino or use great body language while I'm sitting, or sometimes the girl will come to class and wait outside with me, but she willbe standing while I'm already sitting.

Awesome, thanks for the response! I just started reading Models, so far it's taught me a lot about being myself and being honest. Did you really have to lead the convo after that adorable line, or did you find the girls just pretty much giving you their name and number after that? As for your looks, if you're a 9 I'm sure that helps :p I consider myself a 5-6, so hopefully my personality can make up for it!

Just out of curiosity... How physically attractive do you consider yourself on a scale of 1 to 10? How did the conversation go after you dropped the adorable line and/or exchanged info? How would you describe your posture/vocal tone during the interactions? I have pretty bad AA and get nervous while I'm approaching. Some girls think it's cute but others think it's laughable and it severely kills my attraction. Awesome job btw, I'm hoping to have that much success around campus this semester :D

Yeah, I've been trying to workout more and in general keep my mind off it. I think I'm improving though :) So just straight up ignore her when I walk into class? She is usually there before me, and has her stuff on my chair to save my seat. I could see myself doing it if I could talk/walk into class with this cute girl in my previous class, but beyond that I feel like I'd come off as an asshole, especially if I ended up not sitting by anyone.

How do I stop being so needy? I feel like when I finally hook a girl, I want to be texting her a lot, and I end up getting anxiety if they don't respond and (sometimes) text her again a few hours later. I've been working on it and trying to be more conscious about it, but any tips would help. I met a girl in one of my classes. It was the first day, so I was being friendly and saying hi to whoever sat next to me to look more confident/feel more social. Turns out, she's in another class with me. H…

I'm in the same spot as OP (except it's my last semester, not my second) - how exactly do you meet people in the cafeteria? Alright dude, I went to a club alone in Miami and after writing a FR I went back and looked at things I could have done much better. AS SOON AS YOU GET IN LINE, START TALKING TO PEOPLE. I don't care if it's the dude next to you, the group of girls behind you, or the couple in front of you. Talk to them, be friendly, etc. You'll look more confident and have more social value in the eyes of others around you, and you'll maybe have some girls to dance with when you get in. A big mistake I made was …

Search Seddit for "Tinder". I believe a couple of people have posted lengthy guides on the whole process, how to use it to hook up, etc. Question though - How often do you get matches? I rarely get any, and when I do it's usually girls I'm not attracted to (I usually spam likes to see if I can get a match). I consider myself an averagely attractive dude, nothing special nothing bad. I have just yet to get matched with one of these model-esque girls I see sometimes, so I'm curious as to if they'r…

I'm a noob like you, but one line that I've seen a lot of PUA's run that's direct, polite, and simple is: "Hey, I know this is totally random, but I think you're (really/incredibly/amazingly) cute/sexy/gorgeous, and I'd have regretted it all day if I didn't come over and get to know you better." It takes balls and has to be said confidently, but unless she's a Class S Bitch she will most definitely smile, and at worst you make her day and feel better about approaching. I ran a variation of this …

Very true. I guess I'll just try to convince them to go out with me, if they don't want to then I'll roll solo and try to bring back a cute girl or two. I just don't like having to go out alone and try to meet people there, I find it much more fun to try pickup when I'm with friends. Thanks!

I'm going through the same thing. My friends are mostly the type of guys who want to either stay home and play video games or go out to eat with the boys, but they don't show much interest in picking up girls. It kind of sucks, because I've been wanting to practice, but don't feel comfortable just going out alone yet. I'm hoping that they see that I'm doing it to feel better about myself and become a better person, and eventually come out with me since I think it'd be fun.

http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/ub1h0/ill_be_your_nemesis/ I'm a competitive person, I'm a total noob at this stuff too, but reading that made me want to go out and talk to girls more than ever. You can literally talk to them anywhere (mall, bar, club, school, coffee shops, downtown areas, beach), it's going to be awkward as hell at first, but you'll get over it. Or, don't. Are the social circle dynamics as relevant in a commuting college? Most of the people there minus the frats and sororities commute between 15 minutes to 45 minutes to and from campus to home. How do you handle the situation "in the heat of the moment" when you and a friend both find a girl attractive? Pass to him or jump into their convo as soon as she mentions she likes you? We were in a very loud club dancing and having a blast, this girl starts booty bumping against me, my friend thinks she's really cute (as do I) and asks me if we can switch spots (it was his bday so I said go for it). Awesome job brother, respect for passing up sex because you are genuinely interested in her! Do you consider yourself a social dude? Like you said, it seems like you had a ton of social proof established and everything flowed so smoothly from meeting her to chatting up her friends. I tend to get nervous most of the time when I'm talking, especially if I don't feel they're interested in what I'm saying, and it comes off as much less smooth than your interaction.

My problem is that I have a hard time seeing signs. This girl was booty bumping up against me, I wasn't sure if she was just hammered and didn't care or if she was purposefully trying to get my attention. For example, another girl at the club was doing the same thing, but then she seemed semi annoyed and asked me to stop bumping into her (I was standing in the same spot the whole time, lol). I just never really know what's appropriate or how to read certain signs in the club (other than smiles a…

This is very helpful advice. I tried to be nice since it was his birthday weekend, but in the end it kind of screwed us out of bringing some cute girls back to the room. Should I have just pulled the girl over to dance when he asked my friend why I wasn't dancing with her? And yeah, it seemed like it was too perfect lol. I really wish I had said something to her, I think she was into me (which is odd, because until recently I was never the guy in the group that the girls go for first).

I consider myself average looking at best. I really think stepping it up in my dress attire paired with walking in smiling like Vinnie Chase from Entourage is what made the girls toss us looks. But honestly, if you think this girl is worth it try it out. Id probably keep her as a friend and try again in the future. It will be a tough road though so be prepared.

I meant in person :P like at the mall or something, nightclubs are a bit easier.

Thank you for the insight. She hasn't responded to me today, so I'll ask her next time we get together. How can you tell if the girl is interested before you even engage? Especially in daygame where they're busy doing their own thing.

Hi, noob here. What exactly is a "Facebook bait"?

Wow, that was very detailed - thanks! Yeah, I'm trying to get away from being "nice quiet guy", we've known each other for years so it's going to take a little bit of work, but I'm heading that way. Maybe that's why she hasn't offered to help me out yet. In regards to my friend, he doesn't steal girls away from me when we go out and talk to girls on the street, and he knows I'm hitting on them. It's usually just when we already know the girls are coming over/out with us, they tend to be more att…

Thank you by the way for answering my questions every week. It's nice to get insight on things :)

Correct. Sorry, I'm at work so I'm rushing the responses. He is their family member. He is a guy. Girls tend to be more attracted to him, which I understand (for now). We usually don't have another single girl with us, but when we do, she tends to lean toward him and they back him up. It's not like I want to steal girls from the guy, he's a good friend and we usually go out looking for girls together since we're the only single ones in the group, but it'd be nice to have a cute girl to talk to w…

Sometimes she will bring her sister or we will go out. I guess they are more inclined to help him out because he's family, or the girls are more attracted to him than me (I'm still very rusty haha). I don't know, it'd just be nice to be able to chill with my friends and a cute girl without having to go pick one up off the street while we're out.

I only have one good female friend. We're close (she's my best friends gf), I consider her one of my best friends, but she never brings along a cute friend or anything like that when we go out. It results in me third wheeling everything, or having to bring a guy friend (who they end up helping hook up). How can I go about asking her to try to help me expand my social circle with females, without coming off as needy? I don't want her to get the wrong idea about me, but she's an attractive girl wh…

I've seen a couple of good threads/comments on here about how to use it successfully. Maybe we could add one to the sidebar, or put something in the rules telling people to search for it (common sense, I know).

Great advice :) Can you describe the profile picture more? I feel like I'm barely getting matches, I have one selfie(from the chest up) and one picture of my brother and I at a bar. Dressed nicely in both (collared shirt or vest and tie). I'm assuming this is the reason why. I've gotten about three matches in a week, number closed two of them and one didn't respond (probably because I said "hey").

Shit -_- lol. I think I was just so caught up in how awkward/nervous I was during conversation that I didn't even think about her showing interest or what her intentions were. Well, I plan on going back in a week or two. If I see her I will try to grab a number and take her out.

Mini golf? Bowling? Nearby parks? Downtown city? Awesome FR btw. I wish a girl would leave me her number without me asking ;P

True, I don't really want to lead them on, but it's definitely helping me practice my creative conversation skills/text game.

Is it rude/mean to get a girl's phone number without the intention of calling or texting her? I was practicing conversational skills on Tinder, girl seemed into me and gave me her number, but I'm not really attracted to her.

If you awkwardly/abruptly ended a conversation with a girl at her job, but she was nice enough to hold a conv with you despite you looking like a noob/being nervous the whole time, would you go back and try to pick it up again? How? (you can see my last FR if this question doesn't make much sense) How do you go about opening a mother/daughter set if you're not too confident in your ability to be smooth yet? I feel like if I slightly screw up (voice pitch drops, or I reply stupidly to one of her …

Thanks! It felt good to do it, and I know she smiled a few times and told her coworker about it so hopefully it made a positive impact on her day too.

Seriously, I feel like I completely lost my touch lol. The only difference is now I'm in slightly better shape and dress much better, but the conversational skills and ability to approach have gone down the dumps. I thought that was a good sign as well, but I messed up and cut off the conversation right there. Do you think it's worth going back in a couple of weeks and trying again if she's there? How would you go about opening without making it awkward/creepy? Thanks for the insight :)

May I ask why? I'm kinda new to this (well, I used to be decent but after 3 years of not doing it you start to lose your touch..), so any insight would be great, especially if you have specific points in the convo :)

I definitely have a lot of AA. We saw 3-4 potential targets that I chickened out on, but I forced myself to talk to at least one before I left. I would like to talk to her again, she seemed pretty chill and I'd like to at least see if I could get a # close and date with her (although she has a kid so I'm not too interested in a relationship, plus I don't know her qualities). I'm just not too sure how to start a conversation with her without making it look like I went back to the mall just to tal…

How would you reply if she says something like, "Ehh no, sorry"? I think I'm afraid to ask because if they respond like that I have no clue what to say and would just say "Ok bye" and walk away like a bitch, lol.

This stuff is great guys - I'm about halfway through the lecture and watched the infield, very solid stuff and well explained. I feel like I learned a ton from what I've seen so far, looking to finish it off today. I highly recommend this to everyone looking to learn some solid daygame and improve the flow of their conversation. Charlie has also been extremely helpful in answering questions :) looking forward to more content!

Great report dude. I saw a mother/daughter set yesterday with this absolutely gorgeous girl, but I had no idea how to approach them or what to say. You having her ask her mother if it was ok to take the daughter on a date was very clever ;) thanks for sharing!

Yeah.. I felt like she was being nice because she thought I was nervous, but at least she recognized that I had the courage to go up to her and try to make her day a tad bit more interesting.

Thanks! She was working on the computer for about 1/3 of the interaction, that was the only time that eye contact faltered. Honestly, when I went back to say bye, my intent was to at least try and number close. I felt like with how awkward the first conv was, and her coworker being there, that I should just end the conversation nicely without asking for more. Now I kind of wish I did though :(

You don't think it would be kinda weird if I went back in a couple of weeks? Maybe I could ask her for a do-over or something, haha.

Thanks! She seemed like she was down, but I don't think I was. I was just looking for a good time inside the club. I have a problem making the leap from dancing to grinding - I guess I should just man up and try it, worst that can happen is they back off, right? Lol. Do you have any thoughts on the part I bolded "I'd really like feedback on this part"? Thanks :)

Ugh, yeah that makes sense. I really should've taken initiative of the conversation, she probably got bored.

Yeah, my main problem is when I try to talk to a girl in a group, I end up "ignoring" her too much, and her friends think I have interest in them instead of her, and get mad when they see I was going for her all along. I guess I hadn't built enough comfort within the group to hit on the main target without the friends getting jealous. I've never k-closed a girl out of nowhere before, only on dates and whatnot, so I guess I'll just have to look better for the signs and act accordingly. Thanks!

How do you respond if the girl says she has a boyfriend? I usually eject as soon as she says it, even if I don't believe it :( Standing behind a 10 at the airport. She is listening to headphones, but makes eye contact a few times. Would this be a viable opener (I was just brainstorming, got major AA but figured it might have been worth a shot. Sad that I didn't do it)? Create a new text message, type "Are you as adventurous as you look?", leave number space open, hand her phone. Thoughts?
/r/seduction05/08/13 08:29 PM

Hm I've never looked at it that way. So you'd advise to just go in for the kiss or dance or whatever, and if she rejects you just back off or eject? I always feel like it's moving too fast but then it just stops moving all together. Example - Girl and I are chatting, she is showing some interest. I do the casual arm grab or touch, but I always feel like it's going to be extremely awkward if I just hold her hips and go in for a kiss or something. I almost always see it ending in a "Woah what are …

How do you approach girls that are in a group of more than two, without losing interest of the girls other than the target? When can you tell that it's ok to escalate to the next level of physical contact with a girl - ex. From slightly putting your hand on her arm to kissing. What is a good spot to practice daygame with a friend? Preferably with lots of single girls that are more open to conversation based on where they are (easier to branch into other topics).
/r/seduction05/08/13 07:21 PM

What if your interests aren't similar to theirs? For example - I love video games and consider it my main hobby. I don't really know how to get a girl interested in that unless I know they actually play the game. Would it be better to spark up conversation about a subject you're not too familiar with, but is more "common" for both parties to be interested in? ex. Movies or TV show.

Glad to see there is someone in the same boat! Well, it depends. At first, the club was relatively empty, so I just hung out near the bar, got a drink, and (made the mistake of) scoping out any potential groups or people I'd like to talk to (instead of just going and talking to them). Once the floor gets more crowded, I spend most of my time dancing on there, but if I get tired I'll go get a drink or just lounge around off to the side a bit. There were plenty of opportunities for conversation, I…
