Here's the issue, you can ask all you want, but that does not mean you will get full disclosure. Therefore the issue becomes something different which is if you have it, and you are sleeping around, you are actively participating in spreading while never knowing whether or not the partner you're potentially infecting will ever tell any of their future partners.
