I've got no interest in editing wikipedia on anything that isn't 100% clear cut (spelling corrections, mathematics) after all the edit wars and fighting, it leans heavily to the left and tries to people believe that's default by claiming to be NPOV.

They had a big discussion about this in r/programming, it's frustrating to read them arguing about it because the story given in the blog post is just that: One persons recollection of what happened. You can justify anything by pointing out how neatly is solves the problem of this troublesome person you just made up. We have no way to verify what actually happened but he repeatedly calls this person a jerk. Despite the fact that there are real social factors (e.g. 1 2) that push women away from …

yeah my point is that that's just radical feminism, which is one fraction of feminism.

people love to downvote stuff they disagree with, even if it's well written. No need to refute any of the points anyone makes against your ideology when you can just circlejerk about how much of a bigot he is.

I think privilege is also widely accepted by public because it works the same way as a conspiracy theory: It might be invisible at first, but once you know about it you can see it in everything!

It sounds like a really horrible situation to have been in but people mightreflect back on what happened and try to learn about about it

It's not about hivemind, it's about "men aren't allowed to say this"

while I agree this is important it's just the format of this post that I object to, these snappy image macros will continue to get upvoted beyond better posts that take more time to read and drown them out.

can we clean up r/mensrights a bit before it becomes another r/atheism? This is getting really weak

Funny, if they just banned men it would be completely ok, but because they're banning transsexuals it's a huge fucking deal.

I dunno seems to me that shit jokes that aren't funny seem to just serve as a sheild for legitimising sexist and racist attitudes.

it's a shame people have to die before people are capable of changing their mind about an issue that has its only "justification" in the form of tradition.

What compels people to write these "lol i wanted raped too, sex is sex right?" comments.. no you don't, it would be consenting sex if you were good with it.

a lot of the tabloid reports play down the severity of a rape based on how attractive the woman is.

The sad thing is normal people are too stupid to realize this is a misinformation trick. That's why you get people who have never even tried to read the content in this subreddit complaining about how sexist and hateful it is, when it's nothing like that.

the benenfits of circumcision (cleanliness, no risk of phimosis, cures HIV, foreskin cancer) outweigh the risks.

This makes such a good point, these feminist posters do absolutely nothing to stop rape edit this is wrong, thanks alittler for bringing this up their sole purpose is to demonize males
