It was, but viewing it through the lens of the Feminine Imperative, it makes perfect sense. We got married a few months prior, and as I mentioned, I was out of work for a bit at the time. Of course, I thought that since I'd supported her for a while before we were married, she'd be understanding while I looked for work in a shit economy. Not to mention that I was still in the Blue Pill "true wuv for ever" mindset. Of course, that's not how the female brain works. From her standpoint, I was becom…

The final straw that yanked the plugs out of my head was when my grandma died. I wasn't working at the time, and I got the news late at night. The next day, I stayed at home and took some time for myself and frankly didn't feel like doing much. My wife decided that would be a good time to berate me for not doing dishes.

Briffault's Law strikes again. Past benefit provided by the male does not provide for continued or future association. Any agreement where the male provides a current benefit in return for a promise of future association is null and void as soon as the male has provided the benefit A promise of future benefit has limited influence on current/future association, with the influence inversely proportionate to the length of time until the benefit will be given and directly proportionate to the degre…

Its because the mods went to great lengths to make sure that there is no way this sub could be accused of breaking Reddit's rules. That's the reason for the Automod automatically deleting links to any part of Reddit.

"Doxxed" means that SJWs found out who he is in real life. I don't know when or if he is going to return, but I expect he'll be laying low for quite a while. Those people have no qualms about ruining someone's life over what they post on the internet. It's a damn shame because he was a great contributor, but I don't blame him in the least for ducking out.

I'm from outside the US, but the way I see it is that Americans' trust in their government and their media is at an all time low. Trump isn't part of the Washington establishment, and he openly mocks all of the establishment candidates he's up against. This has gotten him noticed by a lot of people who are tired of business as usual in US politics. The media is feeding into this as well. Trump is playing the news media like a fiddle. Every time he does or says something outrageous, the media pic…

Women making noise during sex is also related to how chimps vocalize during mating. "it seems far more likely that in humans, female copulatory vocalization would serve to attract males to the ovulating, sexually receptive female, thus promoting sperm competition, with all its attendant benefits—both reproductive and social." So your woman screaming during sex is an evolutionary response. It basically means, "hey someone's getting laid over here, come over here and fuck me too!"

In the US, they can force you to decrypt if it's a "foregone conclusion" that the files your decrypting are evidence. For example, a suspect in a fraud case was heard on a wiretap discussing an encrypted file with a co-defendant. Therefore, the government already knew she had the information, and the court rules that since she would be telling the government what they already knew, making her provide the unencrypted file wasn't forcing her to incriminate herself. However, if the cops seize a dri…

It depends on your threat model. Bitlocker will keep a snooping wife or girlfriend out of your files, no problem. It's designed for businesses to keep proprietary information secure, so there isn't going to be an easy way to circumvent it. It's probably good enough to keep local law enforcement out of your computer too. If you're worried about 3-letter agencies getting into your files, you've got bigger problems than whether Bitlocker is secure.

That is something I observed firsthand when I worked in customer service. If you say "sorry," the person will instantly assume you are in the wrong and things will go downhill, even if they started off being understanding. If something is wrong, you say something like "we're going to make it right" then tell the person how you will fix it. Fix the problem, but never apologize unless absolutely necessary.

Try to change too much too soon and people will freak out. Instead, they have to slowly reinterpret what the Second Amendment means and enact "common sense" legislation that erodes a small piece of your rights at a time.

I live in Canada and used to work at a gun shop. One day, I had a gentleman come in who either bought or ordered about a dozen firearms. Really nice shit, too (Sako rifles, Zeiss scopes, Beretta shotguns, that sort of stuff). I assumed that he was an outfitter, so as I was getting his stuff together, I casually asked him what sort of hunting trip he was putting together. He laughed. You make a good point. He was a kid who was mislead. It happened to all of us at one point in time. Indeed, and it seems that my own wording is still influenced by that. No. Rodger was not even a beta. Betas are the men who are more apt to submit and follow than to take charge. They try to impress women by being "nice." They have a suboptimal strategy for getting women or whaterver else they want, but they still function in society and do occasionally get laid. Rodger didn't even meet those criteria. He was omega. I think in this case a brief but courteous reply is the better option. Not responding can make it look like the original email was just him stirring up trouble. Replying with a thank you reframes it as an honest inquiry and that both parties consider the matter closed.

Shermer handled it in about the only way he could. Say nothing, carry on with what he was doing as normal, and let his lawyer deal with it. As for the PR, he had a lot of prominent people in the community (like Mr. Deity) stick up for him. He seems to have survived with minimal long-term damage to his career and reputation. On the other hand, he wasn't direclty subjected to an accusation per se. It was a second-hand account claiming that there was an accusation.

OP's story illustrates this point well. Going too much into the asshole mode is much easier to fix than being too nice. If he had been too nice from the get-go, she'd not have developed attraction to him. OP overdid it a bit, but he just had to throw in a little bit of the "humanity" to reassure her and make her feel comfortable. Problem solved, attraction still intact. Err on the side of asshole, then calibrate. That's been my rule of thumb since discovering TRP. It works well.

What I’m wondering is… is that her hamster attempting to rationalize that one day she’ll settle for a guy she finds un-attractive? In other words, is she self-sabotaging her sexual desires so that she will just accept a sexless but comfortable marriage Yes. She's rationalizing that she won't be sexually attracted to the guy she "settles" with, but she'll hamster that he's a "great, stable guy," at least at first. Her marriage probably won't be sexless. IIRC, it isn't the age of the egg itself that matters quite as much. It's the quality of the proteins in the egg and that the high quality eggs get released first. Therefore, as a woman gets older, she'll have fewer of her good quality eggs remaining. The remaining high quality eggs in an older woman are still good regardless of age, it's just that there's much fewer of them so it's more likely that in an older woman, a lesser quality egg will be released and fertilized. EDIT: This may have been…

MMSL also expanded on this for guys who are married or in LTRs. Women will go for Alpha Fucks AND Beta Bucks. In and LTR, you need to be both. You have to be alpha most of the time to keep her interested and attracted. However, you do need to throw in bit of beta here and there so she'll be comfortable with the relationship. It's all about balance. If you want to spin plates, all alpha is the way to go. If you want an LTR, it's all about balance.

I don't understand how any woman could treat a man that way, especially when he has done so much for her. Briffault's law, dude. Past benefit provided by the male does not provide for continued or future association. It doesn't matter what he did for her, what matters are her feelings. If she feels like she "deserves better" or she's not "haaapyy," then in her mind, he never did anything for her. That's just how the hamster spins.

It's the same way people get addicted to video games or the internet. They are bored or depressed and seeking easy gratification. Porn provides a small amount of it, and jerking off feels good, but when it's over, the experience is ultimately empty and they're back to being bored or depressed. So, they go seeking another easy fix. But that one is also unfulfilling. Rinse and repeat.

The nice guy will usually end up in a relationship eventually. The girl will "settle down" with him after her looks start fading and she is done fucking every bad boy she comes across. She won't respect him and will fuck another bad boy at the drop of a hat, but he will get duty sex every once in a while.

No. As I wrote further down, she didn't crash the plane because she was a woman. She died because flying the F-14 was simply beyond her capabilities. Even though she had four "downs" (major errors, two or three of which are enough to end a pilot's career) the Navy kept her in the program anyways due to the political pressure they were under to have a woman flying fighters. She was out of her depth and should have washed out of the training. The cause of the accident was pilot error, but the Navy…

In a stall, the airflow over the wings is disrupted, and the wing stops producing lift. Using aileron input therefore has little effect. In a stall, you use rudder to keep your nose pointed straight. Likewise, simply applying power doesn't do much for you either since you need to re-establish airflow over the wings. Power also tends to cause the aircraft to pitch up, which will aggravate the stall. The procedure for recovering from a stall is to push the nose down to increase airspeed, use the r…

She didn't crash simply because she was a woman. By all accounts she was intelligent and a very competent A-6 pilot. The problem was that the feminists were harping about how there weren't enough women in the military, and how the Navy was hostile to the idea of women being fighter pilots. As a result, the Navy was under pressure from the politicians to have her flying fighters as soon as possible. Her training officers knew she wasn't ready to be flying the F-14 but they weren't allowed to do a…

There is a little bit more that the Wiki article only really touched on. The publicly released report blamed mechanical failure with the aircraft. The internal report cited pilot error and was suppressed until a pissed off officer leaked it to the press. I'm a civilian pilot myself, but even I know enough to say that she handled the stall and engine failure in the exact wrong way. Hultgreen was fast-tracked through F-14 training because the Navy was under intense political pressure to have a wom…

Name-calling and other appeals to emotion mean you've already lost the debate. What you're saying is true intellectually, but if you're trying to convince the masses, emotional appeals and ad hominem attacks are incredibly effective. Look at political attack ads, for example. Ignoring is a good tactic in some cases because you communicate that her remark or shit test isn't even worth addressing. Obviously, it's highly context-dependent. Ignoring her is also a good option if you are in an LTR and aren't sure about what to do. It might not be ideal, but it's far better than arguing back or trying to appease her. For the married guys in here, I'll add one thing that I learned from experience: If you're faced with passive-aggressive behaviour, ignoring it will, at best, postpone the problem. Several of the laws conflict because they are context-dependent. Say you have an enemy who has ambitions on something you also want. If you find a way that you can satisfy him while getting what you want, then hiring your enemy makes sense. It's an easier way of getting rid of an enemy than crushing him outright. However, if your enemy is bent on your destruction, or if he refuses to compromise, then he needs to be defeated entirely or he'll just keep on being a thorn in your side.

I think the stigma came about back in the 90s because in America, prescribing Ritalin to kids became a really big thing. A lot of teachers and some parents thought that every behavioural problem under the sun was the result of ADD. Rightly or wrongly, the perception became that Ritalin was a lazy and easier answer than trying to get the kids more engaged with school or figuring out why they were acting out.

ADHD does exist and it can be quite debilitating to some people. However, it's definitely over-diagnosed. It's not the same thing as being bored and daydreaming. Gamers have also dealt with this before. Back in the 90s, the authoritarian right wanted games censored on the premise that they promoted violence and harmed kids' morals. Now, the authoritarian left is trying to do the same thing by saying that games are sexist. A lot of gamers are in their 20s and 30s and shaming tactics aren't something new to them. That's why shaming gamers didn't work.

She's successful and wealthy and independent, which is what she wants in a man. She thinks that men will be attracted to those qualities the same way she is (solipsism). I read about the need for the alpha/beta mix from MMSL when I first took the pill (before the MMSL forums went to shit) and did a bit of casual experimentation to test things out. For context, I had allowed myself to be beta-ized in my marriage because of some past trauma that my wife had suffered before we met. Whenever she would flip out or shit t…

The Charter of Rights and Freedoms has protections that are very similar to those of the US Constitution. Specifically, Section 8 "Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure." Basically, this means that without a warrant, the cops can't search your stuff unless you let them. As for the right to silence, this is covered by section 7: Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with…

17 is the perfect age to start tackling fitness. Seriously. You're young, your testosterone is flowing, and you have the time. One of the best ways to get rid of that gut after you get your diet right is to start lifting. It burns a lot of calories, and builds muscle, which in turn helps you burn more fat when you exercise. You're right that alpha and beta are just traits, and they do have their place. The one place I can think of beta traits being useful is if you're in an LTR. You need to use a balance of alpha and beta traits to maintain a relationship. Alpha traits build attraction and respect, beta traits make her feel more comfortable with your relationship. There's nothing wrong with this sort of 'chivalry' if that's what you want to call it, as long as it comes from a strongly dominant frame. That's the key, though. Businesses are all about the bottom line. If there were a way for a business to cut labour costs by 30%, they would take it in a heartbeat. If the gender wage gap were real, every company in the country would be scrambling over themselves to replace the men in their workforce with women.

A bit of advice my father gave me: We tell men not to think with their dicks because it's disrespectful to women. But there comes a time when, if you don't act, you're not respecting her either. If she wants you and you keep pushing her away or can't take a hint, you are not respecting her, you're rejecting her.

As a 40-something I have roughly the same libido I did when I was a 20-something but I have more savvy. More understanding about when to turn on the charm, when to be a little more assertive and when to play it cool and let her think she's in charge. You are deluding yourself if you think this guy was lavishing attention on you and didn't want sex. It might not be all he wants but I am sure it is top of the list since he probably doubts a long term relationship is likely with someone half his ag…

Ms. Faircloth did not send out a press release or seek personal benefits, but rather was communicating with peers," say Right to Speak Out of Faircloth's claims. Libel is libel regardless of the reason. "It is offensive to imply that filing such a lawsuit is a respectable way to procure money regardless of what he declares he intends to do with it" Do they actually think that the reason for his lawsuit is so that he can raise money for charity? He's responding to a libelous accusation that damag…

Take an article written by a crazy conspiratard. Replace all instances of "lizard people" or "Illuminati" with "Patriarchy." Compare the result to an actual feminist article.

[O]ur lovely gambler isn’t addicted to winning...She’s addicted to playing. She likes the pain of loss. She likes the rush of victory. Give her too much of one or the other: She’ll find another establishment. That is LTR game in a nutshell.

While "meatheads" may or may not have the best genes for today's environment, they certainly did 10,000 years ago. Modern life has only been around for a very short time in evolutionary terms and human psychology hasn't caught up to that fact. We're living in a modern society, but parts of our brains are still wired as if we were out in the Serengeti chasing wildebeest with clubs. So while rationally, a woman might want a financially successful man who can provide for her, the old software is st…

Also more proof for those in LTRs that you need to know when to alpha up and when to let in a little bit of beta. It is also a good explanation of why dread game works.

They’re talking, these men, speaking quite freely, about — oh, whatever pops into their heads! Unlicensed advice, unofficial opinions, roaming wild, without a single academic department or any other kind of regulatory agency in sight. Would it kill them, really, to run it by a feminist professor first? Oh, well, apparently you don’t need a master’s degree in critical gender theory to understand men and women anymore! I guess even a non-Marxist should be allowed to publicly say things about human…

I'm 29. Been with my wife for 6 years, married for a little less than 2. Things nearly went to shit shortly after the wedding. Fortunately, I managed to get a serious dose of Red Pill in time to straighten things out. I didn't get cheated on, just a lot of shit tests and disrespect. I had a couple of casual flings and the like before meeting my wife, but my last serious relationship before her was when I was 18.

The situation you describe is a huge glut of men in the marketplace, which drops your value significantly. In addition, there's a shortage of women, which raises hers. You're basically a cock salesman trying to trade a commodity that is in oversupply (cock) for one that is in short supply and high demand (pussy). The "double down" makes sense in this context. Those women can demand a huge amount of validation, and if you're not willing to give it, some thirsty guy is more than willing to supplic…

"Taranto lives in a world in which women who are drunk to the point of near-unconsciousness should be presumed to be granting willing consent to whatever behaviors men engage in," Phillip Bump writes on The Atlantic Wire. Where in his article did he say that?

I agree, but I would also add that girls are attracted to dominant behaviour and status. Now, think about someone who is an actual asshole. Despite his other faults, that person probably dominates other people and pays no regard to what people think of him. In a girl's mind, that sort of behaviour shows that he has high status. It's not that being an asshole is attractive in and of itself, it's that assholes display the kind of traits that girls find attractive.

Pay attention at about 36:30 in. This is why you never try to impress a woman by buying her shit. She will NOT respect you for it. Woman: "He thinks he's got, like, a hold on me over a little bit of shopping or something like that. A few things in a candy shop and a $270 ring? He can kiss my ass. If he was a bit more on my wavelength, but he turns out to be a 33-year old man in a 16-year old's brain who thinks he can buy women's' sexual affection with a few little trinkets. Bought some sexy underwear and had it delivered to her office Cringe. she has got a fantastic new job and spends alot of time at work and with her colleagues Lots of "late nights at the office," I'm sure. I suggested she be the sole instigator of sex for a period of time, so that she doesn't feel pressured to 'give in' to me - she agreed. picard_facepalm.jpg

The media is a bunch of corporations that interested in selling stuff. They know that in the vast majority of cases, women control the purse strings. Hence why the vast majority of ads and content caters to women. All they're doing is going to where the money is.

A good litmus test for crazy has to be whether or not the author uses the word "patriarchy" in her article. If yes, discount everything else she says because she's an absolute retard. Fun exercise: Go though a Feminist article and replace every instance of the word "Patriarchy" with "Lizard People" or "Illuminati."

The law is worded slightly differently in Canada, but the Charter (Specifically in Sections 11 and 13) also recognizes that a person has the right not to be a witness against themselves. The Police will still try a lot of tricks to get you to waive your right to silence, but your best course of action is still to not say anything at all. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_to_silence#Canada
