As you can see from the comments, a) they praise the little kid for "being a boss", b) they think women should change and not do this anymore. Cue stories of past nice guys getting rejected in college, after which the girl bangs another guy.

a) The kid is not a boss, because he did his little drop the mic move only after failing, which reeks of butthurt. When you try to get a girl by saying "I wish you could see yourself the way I see you" and get treated like a beta, don't get mad.

He's on the right track though; he is only a 12 year old kid after all.

b) Women aren't going to suddenly change and start appreciating beta male's compliments and suddenly grant them sex. That's not how attraction works. All the commenters are detailing their past experiences with women, which signifies a lack of understanding of women.

They think they can compliment a woman; they think you can ask a friend on a date; they think by showing women how supportive and "on their side" you can be, you can get sex.

The other good part is that many of the comments are soft Redpill.

It breaks my heart when I see dudes try to make a relationship out of a friendship with a woman. You just want to grab them by the shoulders and go,"look,dude, no amount of rides to the airport,no amount of home repairs,no matter how many hours you listen to her problems. No matter how many times you help her move. It's just not gonna happen."

I always find it funny when Reddit abandons its thin veneer of wannabe feminism and the true butthurt comes out, wherein guys show they desperately need solutions to their ever-failing sexual beta strategy.
