You're welcome. Tomorrow I'll be posting an article from the 70s on women's liberation.

Good. We don't need any more people anyway. Just drive through Los Angeles or stand in a long line and you'll see what I mean. Fuck overpopulation.

Hahaha, fucking pathetic. I work for my money, and I dictate how it's spent or saved.

Doesn't matter. In the end nothing matters. The universe does not give a shit about the human race.

"The vast majority of other bikers are men, riding alone. I would say about 8 out of 10 riders I come across fall in this category. Are these mgtow men? Or single betas? They are alone." I bike alone daily. If I depended on other people to go all the time, I would only bike 1-2 times a month. Fuck that.

I am taking a week-long road trip by myself next month. A few years ago, I decided that I was sick and tired of needing to "find someone" to do activities with - golfing, movies, and trips. Once I realized that I enjoyed doing things alone just as much, or even more than with other people, I felt free to do ANYTHING I WANT! I see my friends once or twice a week for a few hours and that's all the socializing I need. I actually don't want anyone to come with me on my trip anyway because I love bei…

I'm tired of having all this money, time, freedom. I'm sick of spending my weekends biking and golfing. I'm so fed up with sleeping 8-9 hours a day, playing video games, and hanging out with friends. This post has convinced me to MAN UP and work on the plantation, where my time and money will be DEDICATED to raising fellow slaves, so they too can work on the plantation. I am tired of being called a Peter Pan and want to MAN UP so society can finally consider me a REAL MAN, because I want to be a…

Maybe you need to learn to manage your money and stop blaming others. I'm confused. I have $100K in savings at the age of 25 from starting with nothing. How can I manage my money any better? Oh right, I'll do what TajMy suggests and work several years of my life to buy stupid shit I don't need to make others richer. 21.99% interest on a credit card account? Great deal, sign me the fuck right up. Charge, charge, charge. Spend, spend, spend. We're gonna shop till we drop. You know what, TajMy, tha…

In my experience as a college graduate, and seeing what others have gone through, the experience you'll obtain from your first job out of undergrad is much more valuable than a graduate degree.

Exactly. The only thing I need is to not live in a dump or by shitty neighbors. ETFs are extremely liquid; houses are very illiquid.

You can live in a modular home, apartment, or townhouse and not be homeless. I've lived in a mobile home in the same location for nearly 30 years, and I have never been threatened that I would be kicked out. My point is people overpay for large houses just to try to bring some meaning to their existence, when really they could probably live just fine in a smaller place.

Bleh. I stopped listening to mainstream years ago when I found real music. I'd listen to Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Iron Maiden 100,000 times in a row before I listen to today's bullshit pop music.

I think it's been doubled to 4 months wages now, because rings have doubled in value ring companies need more money. And you better make damn sure it is based on gross wages, never net.

To me, being religious just to fit in with society is ridiculous. I prefer to think for myself. There are roughly 4,200 religions in the world. Why is any single religion more correct than any other? As a baptized Christian, I don't understand the logic that 1.6 BILLION Muslims are condemned to hell for not accepting Christ. A little off topic, but I just don't get it.

Don't forget the ring must cost 4 months salary, or whatever the current arbitrary minimum cost is today.

Steve Carrell was excellent on The Daily Show. I thought he was great at portraying a fake news reporter while acting serious. Then he starred in this movie and I lost respect for him. His role portrayed him as a loser afraid of women. If he acted cocky and arrogant instead, and did not give a fuck about women, his character would have been much more interesting. At the end he could have told the single mom to GTFO and continued playing his video games.

Exactly. You can pick the nicest, sweetest girl in the world. But if you earn substantially more than her, you are giving her the option to take your house, retirement fund, and savings, in exchange for her student loan and credit card debt. She may or may not exercise that option, but just giving her the choice is like giving her a loaded gun, with her knowing that she'll be greatly rewarded for pulling the trigger. Why give anyone that option? Doesn't make any logical sense to me, but what the…

Lets be honest, many (if not most) of you guys that claim to be MGTOW (or foreveralone / incel if you like) would not be MGTOW if you found fat girls attractive. Stopped reading after this sentence. MGTOW is about dropping out of the game regardless of whether attractive women are scarce or abundant. Without reading this wall of text, this post appears to contradict the MGTOW philosophy. Downvote and move on, people.

Thank you. I think some people take MGTOW to extreme levels, such as stating that working an easy office job is conforming to the system. Yes, I guess to an extent it is, but I choose the path of least resistance and find that living in a modern society does have its benefits. I just take full advantage of those benefits and avoid the negatives, like marriage, children, and materialism. Everything in life is relative and looking at things black and white does not always make sense, IMO.

How this list applies to me: 1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me. I am a rebel and refuse to do what society expects. For example, I make over $60K a year in an economically depressed area and drive a piece of dirt car with dents and scratches and over 160K miles. Do I give a shit? NOPE! It gets me around, so fuck giving into societal pressures to drop 50 grand on a Benz. I know people who live paycheck to paycheck for fancy cars for wh…

I was driven here because I've always hated being told what to do, hate compromising on people about anything, and have the attitude that it's my way or the highway. And I don't carry this attitude to work because they pay me well, so I do what they tell me and don't complain as long as it's reasonable. But outside the 40 hours I spend a week working, the remaining 128 hours are mine to do whatever the hell I want. In my earlier years, I was a brainwashed fool who bought that whole fairy-tale lo…

Haha, no. I did back in my blue pill sucker days, but inside I hated every second of it. I'm much, much happier reading a book at home on a Friday night instead of pretending to be someone I'm not at a stupid ass nightclub.

The original video talks only about money, money, money, jobs, working, not going to bars, money, working, jobs, and so on. There's so much more to life that is NOT related to money, such as enjoying time with friends, having freedom to ride a motorcycle across the country, or just spending time in nature. None of these ideas or anything related to hobbies are discussed in the video. If this video represented marriage accurately then the man is nothing more than a workhorse utility.., oh wait, t…

My twice-married blue pill friend told me he is lonely in his marriage. Marriage does not guarantee not feeling lonely by any means - in fact it can trap you with the wrong person.

Wow I am convinced 100%, thanks PragerU, I am manning up tomorrow so I can work 400 extra hours and go to church with crying babies instead of having drinks with my friends.

Not me. I only need a few hours of socializing a day and I can easily spend the rest of the time by myself. Socializing is a need, yes, but you can learn to entertain yourself and therefore minimize the need for socializing to just a hours a day or even just a few hours a week. But I think you need to socialize at least a little, and that DOES NOT require living with someone.

Debunking some of the myths as to why marriage is beneficial to men: "Being a real man" - no thanks. I'll be a "fake man" or a "Peter Pan" or whatever label society arbitrarily creates because my freedom is more valuable than gaining society's approval. Tax breaks - the only pro-marriage argument my friend could conjure up when we discussed marriage, besides the stupid argument "well you just HAVE to get married". This tax-break is masqueraded as a tax on singles, which I will reluctantly pay bu…

"See this? This is what awaits you, boys." Haha, that's funny. Aaaah, it feels good to lay here on my bed as I type this with my 5 hours of free-time a night and my weekends 100% MINE! Those married suckers can dread coming home from work at night, I'll stick to my current lifestyle. Thanks but no thanks.

I asked my friend who is also single today what the benefit of marriage is. His list was: Tax benefits Someone to take care of you when you're old (counter argument: couldn't a girlfriend theoretically take care of you also w/o marriage?) Well you HAVE to get married! Anyone sold yet on marriage? Since 2 and 3 are invalid, that leaves the tax benefit. Is that worth the risk? I guess so!

"She doesn't believe in working and being a wife so she has been out home since we've been married." So, he can't force his wife to get a job, and at the same time he can't prevent his wife from spending "their" money. This is one major reason marriage sounds awful to me. You're essentially handing over the reigns to your financial future to someone who can do whatever they want with your money. WHY THE FUCK WOULD ANYONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND SIGN UP FOR THAT?!?

Haha, no I am dead serious. Dead fucking serious. Once I spent a whole week explaining MGTOW and the red pill to him. As a once divorced guy who was screwed by child support, he completely agrees with me; however, he admits that he's just too much of a blue pill guy to divorce the current wife. So he will spend his golden years of retirement under his wife's control.

Looking forward to it! I am booking the flight and a one-way rental car. I don't feel like driving back once I reach the west coast. Seven days is long enough for me - I'll see how this trip goes and maybe do a round trip drive next time. Plus my car has 157K miles on it.

My wife controls my spending, but not to this degree. So I googled for a similar story and found this. Thought it would serve as a warning to all who want to get married, although it is an extreme version of my sad pitiful life. This does happen in the real world, but normally not to this extent.

I agree. Not sure why this is getting downvoted. Being angered by female nature is like being angry because it's cloudy outside. Nonetheless, this type of video is excellent for demonstrating the true nature of females and hypergamy in action. For science!

I disagree that sex is a need for men. Sure, when you're horny it's all you think about, but masturbating will take care of that. Focus on hobbies instead.

Thank you. My post merely makes an observation, not a call for activism. The commercial reflects reality... for example, my female cousin who just got married accidentally "forgot" to take birth control, even though she obviously never forgot 5+ years prior. While the father appears happy for now, I doubt he had much influence on her decision to get pregnant based on her "forgetfulness", as opposed to "we were both ready to have a child". My point is women = control pregnancy.
/r/MGTOW14/06/15 07:47 PM
1

Also, I've seen enough men get trapped into being fathers even though they didn't want to be. Regardless of the intent of the commercial, it at least subliminally reinforces the concept of female control over pregnancy for aspiring single mothers who need a sperm donor.

I agree, it was unjust to refer to the entire TRP community. My rebuttal was intended for those who attack MGTOW, as stated by OP, and it's not fair to generalize all of TRP. My post has been edited accordingly.

This article is complete hokum. It's obvious that the thugs and tools women gravitate to don't do any of these things.

"Chivalry works. Try it sometime". This statement has been proven 100% factual. My friend who always lived his life by his code of chivalry is now getting "worked" by the system through divorce costs, alimony, and child support. Definitive proof that chivalry works you!

Why can't people just date and be happy? Oh, yeah, that's right... women like this need the state to re-distribute male owned assets to her.

Last week this show surveyed 100 women asking what are a man's responsibilities when his wife goes shopping. The answers were: hold her purse, carry the bags, stay quiet and out of the way, and pay the bill. If you need tips for being your lady's indentured servant with a wallet, be sure to watch the Family Feud!
