No worries. Best of luck for the date!

Awesome, let's start with a sarging session on Saturday after the fireworks as criticalhit has suggested. We can meet somewhere downtown and get acquainted. Yay, I'm excited (and a bit nervous)!

err...yeah, I knew that... Anybody else? I'm sure there're tons of lurkers who'd love to go out and work on your game! C'mon, people! What do you have to lose?

Awesome! I wonder if it'll be too noisy/busy to go sarging during the fireworks, though? Either way, I think it would be helpful for any Vancouver sedditors to meet up so that we can get acquainted. What do you guys think?

Downtown would be great, but we can see where folks want to hang out, and then see? Where are you at?

Teasing her like this brought out a little emotional response from her. I cut her off quickly and We aren't going to argue about this. I'll be back at the end of your shift to pick you up. I'd be interested to hear what the experts have to say about this, but this seems quite douchey to me (no offense to OP, I'm not suggesting that you're a douche, just that this might be construed that way). I was under the impression that being strong, alpha and assertive would mean that you would be willing t…

how can i change the seduction from picking up girls at clubs to getting dates and hanging out? Seduction just deals with various techniques that build attraction in girls and improve your inner game. What you do with that attraction is up to you. You can choose to hang out with them, get into a relationship, sleep with them, whatever. The seduction techniques work pretty well regardless of where you meet the girls, since it's not like they're specific to picking up girls in clubs. I'd recommend…

Can I apply these things to high school girls at school and whatnot? Yes you can. it says not to text and use facebook but thats how I talk to most of the girls. I don't think "don't text/Facebook EVER" is what the rules actually say. I think it's more of a situational thing. Your game shouldn't focus too much on text/FB messaging, as most of it should be face-to-face. Texting/FB messaging is OK for short communication, building attraction between the times when you're meeting her.

There's some terrific advice below on where you're going wrong. I DONT KNOW WHY. Maybe I'm scared of being rejected Bingo. This stood out to me. Maybe you have your inner game in place, maybe you've convinced yourself that you have. Either way, it does seem from the outside that you are afraid of rejection. How do you get over it? Simple, go out with the intention of actually hooking up with women. All these 'missed opportunities' that you are talking about are when you gave yourself excuses on …

http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/eyrq4/do_girls_noticecare_if_a_guy_gets_a_boner_from/ Edit: Also, stop apologizing for your sexual intentions. That's beta territory right there. The Alpha owns his sexual attraction, and uses it to his advantage.

An erection is a good thing. It's usually incredibly flattering to a woman (who you're going out with/courting, of course) to know that she can turn you on like that.

Can you explain why pulling away would be a good thing?
/r/seduction31/07/11 01:18 AM

Good point. Like you've said, just going up there and talking is the most important part of it.

Pretty amazing stuff, dude! I'm an AFC with crippling AA as well. Usually once I get talking to somebody, I'm OK, though. Your FR shows me that even somebody who seems unapproachable might be open to having a chat with you. I love the way you were able to turn it around so well! A small note, though. It seems to me that your initial opener might actually have backfired. Wouldn't that have seemed like a typical pick-up line?

Yeah, that does seem like the strongest possibility at the moment. There was a MASSIVE communication gap due to her lack of English speaking skills.

Hey, thanks for the awesome advice! Some clarifications: Don't ask if she has a boyfriend. You shouldn't care about him, you're the shit. You don't care. Simple as that. If a woman ever says she has a boyfriend, then its called a shit test. The only reason I asked if she was a BF was because the "date" was going so horribly. I had a sneaking suspicion something was horribly, horribly wrong, and her saying yes would have confirmed my suspicion. I don't know if I just misread her initial interest, …

Listening to the blueprint decoded, tyler says: "The halfway point between fear (beta) and confidence (alpha), is indifference. Don't try to go for the confidence. Try not to care. Say fuck it, I WILL NEVER SEE HER AGAIN! I like that. Yeah, I guess a lot of the fear is irrational. I'm probably less afraid of the worst-case known outcome (she yells at me), than an imaginary unknown one that my mind conjures. Like my best friend always says, "That which you must learn to do, you learn by doing" (a…

Hmm...yeah, I think it's time I just ball-up and see what would happen if I maintain eye contact. Like imalumberjak said, she's maintaining eye contact back, so I really don't have anything to be scared about!

Woah, that sounds scary! I guess that's a good thing, because it'd mean I'd have to get out of my comfort zone. Hmm....

Wow, that's excellent advice! I like the part about "every few chicks throw in a weird face, shake your head "no", or smile". Awesome!

Yeah, you're right, that is weird :P I see what you mean, though. One small problem: wouldn't that only work if you're gay? :D

Hmm...I'm not following. Why would that be "seducing yourself"?
/r/seduction05/07/11 01:51 AM

Is that really necessary? I've noticed that a gracious acceptance of a compliment makes both the giver and receiver feel better. I don't see why it has to be further qualified by jokingly downplaying it?

I seduce myself every night. Sometimes a couple of times a night. I'm such a whore.

Bingo! This is the vague realization I was arriving at over the past few days that you've helped put into words! It appeared to me that many of the techniques that were taught by 'dating gurus' were actually just life techniques, that happened to improve your dating life as well.

I don't have a problem with seducing women, per se. It's just that sometimes I get a misogynistic vibe. Honestly, it's probably just confirmation bias on my part, and I'm trying to be a bit more open-minded about the community. I'm planning to spend some time and go through the material and understand it better. Let's see how it goes.

Sometimes words like "kino", DHV, etc. make me feel a bit uncomfortable, because I guess they sound a bit 'cultish' :P I realize this is an unfair criticism, though, because the lingo of any field is going to sound strange and alien to an outsider. Even the words that a comparatively straightforward (IMO) set of techniques like DYD would sound ridiculous and strange to somebody unfamiliar with the core content and philosophies that DYD teaches.
/r/seduction02/07/11 08:00 AM
1

Yeah. The way I see it, if a girl actually understands what you're trying to do with these 'techniques', she'd be grateful that you're trying to improve yourself and in the process become far more attractive and interesting to her. It's win-win.

Sounds great - I guess I have to just try out seddit and see if I like it!

Sorry, yes I did mean r/seduction, or seddit as I guess it's referred to. You brought up some great points about 'congruency', which can be translated into 'honesty' in a way. I like the way you've put it - it's all about discovering how to interact with women in a way that you can convey your self worth. This is something I absolutely need to work on, and hopefully seddit can help me figure this out!
/r/seduction30/06/11 07:45 PM

Cool, seddit it is, then. I'd be interested in the link you were talking about - link, please?
/r/seduction30/06/11 07:41 PM

Yes, it does answer my question. TBH, I'm not entirely comfortable with the 'seduction' tag, as it almost seems predatory. I like to look at creating attraction, building self-confidence, etc. as more of a self-improvement tool. Maybe this is why I felt a little hesitant about the r/seduction community. I guess I'll just have to spend a little time here to see if I like what I see.
