More of a rant than a question:

I went out with a group of people a few days ago, most of whom I hadn't met. One of them was this cute Asian chick. I got the feeling she was into me. She didn't speak much English, so I couldn't really do much in the way of verbal flirting. I'm not really sure what Kino is, but I was play-pushing her, russling her hair, asking her to massage my shoulders (in jest, and she did a bit), etc.

In fact, she even came over with a female friend (let's call her Y) who was like "uppinmygame, we're looking for a bf for [Asian chick]", to which I responded with "sure, I'll help you guys look!" and pretended to look around for somebody. "No, I meant you, silly", Y said (Asian Chick was just smiling). I just responded with a non-committal smirk and a "sure, I'm free", 'cause I wasn't even really that interested in her.

Today I figure I might as well see where this goes. I call her to return her some stuff she'd forgotten on Saturday (and she'd asked me for, multiple times) and ask her out for coffee. She agrees, and we meet up.

When I meet, I go in for a hug, and get quite a cold response. I figured she was just nervous. I give her stuff back. We go for the coffee, and she seems to want to leave in a hurry. I try making small talk, but I'm getting a cold vibe. At this point, I'm bloody confused, so I ask her if she has a BF. "Yes" :| "Do you miss him?" (to make sure I understood what was going on) "Of course" ಠ_ಠ

So I let a few minutes pass and make some more idle chat before bailing. Gaaaaaaaaaah! WTF?!

Just ranting, but let me know if you guys spot anything I'd done wrong.
