She’s not alone, I loved the banana laffy taffy (now I don’t eat any flavor, but 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Not to mention they aren’t censoring anything, they are private businesses choosing which entities they are willing to do business with.

They look like pretty badass fish when they're in their normal habitat to me.

Also I’m a pedo and this is legally how young I can go and I’m not famous enough to get away with the shit R Kelly pulled. But seriously, please tell me that this is satire. Lie to me if you have to, I just don’t want to believe someone actually thought, typed, and then posted this.

Well she’s certainly right, divorce and death do happen. Maybe one of those are how she should handle what he said. (For clarity: his death, not hers).

And don't forget, if we open women only gyms to avoid these "male dominated spaces that are designed to cater to men", then we are discriminating.

Once in my pickme days I kept telling this guy "I'm not in the mood". He kept trying to take my cloths off until I finally yelled it at him. He said that just means "try harder". I said "No, it means I'm not in the fucking mood to have sex." His response "No it doesn't, I'm not a rapist." He was promptly told to leave and was immediately blocked, it was my first mini queen win that seriously had me reevaluating my dating/sex life.

Good for you! Your life is going to be so much better and you'll accomplish so much more no longer being weighed down. Now can you convince my sister to do the same?

Get a folding metal bed frame with mattress slats. Here is one on Amazon that will cost you $115 at most. It can be super unhygienic to have your mattress on the floor because of dust, pests, and mold.

Omg, l was dating a guy for a couple of months over 2 YEARS ago and he has managed to reach out 3 times overs the years through various social media. First was 6 months after I ended things, I had stopped next to him at a stop light and he took that as a sign to unblock me on Insta and message me (he had blocked me when I ended things, so I instantly blocked him). About a year later he found my Kik and sent a request using a different name, I was on the road for work and figured I'd talk to a ra…

If you can, I highly recommend getting a pepper gel. Pepper spray is aerosoled and can affect the person using it as well, especially if you're in an enclosed space. Pepper gel allows you to spray the person without the risk of it getting in your face too.

Omg, as I was reading this, my first thought was "He does this because he thinks women are always playing games."

I've been thinking about that since reading a post earlier this week and I suggested to someone to get a second number app instead of handing out her real number (which was unavoidable in her circumstance). I saw someone commented here as well about getting a Google Voice number (which is what I have). I think it's a great idea to compile safety tips and resources for the women on here to go through, I'll start a thread and hopefully it gains some traction.

I would file a police report with the text messages now so that that there is something filed and even if he does nothing it couls help future partners of his. At most I would send a "Please do not contact me again" response if you haven't (and if you feel it is safe to do so) and be sure that is included in the screenshots you bring to the police. If you feel you are unsafe, you may want to consider not blocking him (but also never responding and being sure that read receipts are off) so that y…

I hadn't even thought of dual-sim card phones, that's another great idea and makes life easier than having an additional phone to take with you.

I had thought Google Voice was internationally available, but now I'm realizing it's Google Fi (which is their cell service).

In your situation I agree, you did what you had to do, I wasn't trying to knock that in anyway and I'm sorry if it sounded like that. There are times that you just know in your gut that what you have to do might not be ideal, but it will keep you safe and I commend you for trusting that instinct. I was just putting out the suggestion of using a second number app (and having the number memorized) because of my own experience. It sucks that Google Voice doesn't work in your country, I do believe t…

I would be very careful about giving out a real number, Facebook gives recommendations based on your contacts. I have a second number app that I use, so if they call my cell will still ring, but it can't be traced back to me. I gave it to an OLD guy once and within a few messages he says "Are you Lacy Hunter* on Facebook?" I said "No, my name's Jennifer*, I don't have my number linked to Facebook." He flipped and started threatening me, absolutely convinced that I was this Lacy and was lying to …

For real. I had a LVM I was sedinvtell me I should move in with him when I was having trouble finding a new apartment. I looked at him and just said "I've only known you 3 months." Right when he mentioned that I started questioning his sanity, turns out he was a whole can of crazy and I need to write up that story and post it.

This isn't even a competition, it's an audition for get a place in an orchestra. This was effectively a job interview. The mom is saying her daughter has put off practicing, but also states she's not allowed to practice when the oh so important boyfriend is as home (during quarantine when everyone is stuck at home). This audition could have set her on the path to success as a violinist, but now can't even practice because this 4 month relationship is so much more important to the mother.

Oh God, having my IUD put in was the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life. Luckily I had decided to take the day off of work (I almost didn't). It felt like my lower back had shattered, I almost passed out while walking to the doors and then again after sitting down in my car. I didn't learn until months later that you can request an abortion pill prior to having the IUD placed or taken out to help soften your cervix.

These girls don’t just go for Ivy League men though, they go for 6’2 Ivy League men making $250k/year who somehow also have no jobs or money, so she’s having to foot the bill for the club they meet at. Honestly, if you’re going to write a shitty negging profile, at least think it through enough to be consistent with your bs.

I’ve heard this song pop up on the radio like 5 times in the past month (compared to maybe once every 3-6 months). Maybe it’s because the time of day I’m in my car is different, but with quarantine I’m driving a heck of a lot less, so you’d think I wouldn’t have heard it enough to notice a substantial uptick. I saw the headline and my first thought was “I have been hearing that song a LOT lately.” And maybe she’s speaking out now because her daughter is around that age and she’s thinking about h…

Yeah, the title is a monstrosity and of course plays off of the “nagging/bad wife” trope and makes her seem crazy and him like a lazy alcoholic. I’d love to build a mini bar with my (nonexistent) husband to invite friends to.

In the fall grocery stores and nurseries will put out these purple kale and multi colored pepper plants out with the mums, so I can see how he may have thought this was supposed to be a flowering plant if it was on display with the mums. They’re usually like $5-10 a pot depending on the size. Personally I think they’re really pretty and if my SO had tucked a card in the plant and made a little display with another gift/gifts, then I would think that it’s cute. Now the issue of him potentially sp…

But they’re men, OF COURSE they know more than you about YOUR specialty. Didn’t you know that just being a man makes someone more qualified than any woman in any field of work? 🙄

Beauty and the Beast was a story originally created to make young brides less afraid of their arranged marriages. Which makes it more creepy, but also not exactly fit in with the sitcom trope since these bombshell wives willingly married these men.
