This morning, I ended things with an LVM over text because my gut was telling me that it wouldn't be safe to break up with him in person. Turns out my gut was right (as she always is). Now he won't stop calling and sending me cruel, threatening, and scary texts.

This is how all of my breakups always go. I break up with a LVM, he blows up, stalks me, harasses me, drags my name through the mud, tries to make my life a living hell, etc.

Today, I realized that this kind of reaction isn't normal or warranted.

Because of this beautiful community fo angels, I now see that I am a pickmeisha who lets LVM stick around for way too long. This community has taught me that LVM truly believe that I deserve this kind of harassment and cruelty. What a terrifying thought.

I am going to block this guy and never look back. I will study the FDS Handbook, and I will learn how to spot these LVM before the first coffee/drinks "date."

My hope is that, if I can raise my standards high enough (to the heavens if I can), I will never have to deal with this kind of horrific breakup ever again.
