I also had a pregnancy loss that really put a spotlight on how LV my ex was. It's peak male depravity to impregnate a woman and then treat her like shit when she miscarries. OP, I love that you have a HV partner and I hope your healing is going well <3

I had one of those and when I broke it off he said he thought he had been "therapeutic" for me, because he certainly felt I was for him. That's because he monologued for the entirety of the time we spent together. I was literally made into a free therapist.

Most places have public access to court dockets online, and tax assessor property searches can tell you if a man co-owns a home with someone else (like his wife for example). Now he feels entitled to a new truck, a nice house, etc but doesn't make enough money for it and tried to blame me. I was happy to send him and his new wife screenshots of the financial d…

I can't agree hard enough with u/kinkardine that boundaries are the key. Putting up boundaries with my dad has taken back my power from him in so many ways, big and small. My father is a real piece of work. Controlling, emotionally, verbally, physically, and spiritually abusive- he uses religion to exert control and excuse away his actions, which killed my ability to maintain the faith I was raised in. He was "self-employed" my entire childhood and we scraped by on about 15k a year as a family o…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
