According to a lot of people here in this post, the book gives a general idea and gets better as we read further. So I'll continue reading it and take it all in but use it logically lol. I feel it's mainly for business people or sales people rather than for genuine friends.

That's a good advice! Totally agree with you. But what about "Never criticize. Only praise and compliment.". Oh hell no. I have been like that for years and people took advantage of me. I want to be direct and confrontational.

Lol even getting 1 match every three days would boost my ego as a guy. Imagine getting 1000s and still complaining. They may not be perfect, but at least your ego stays put and you're not discouraged.

I'm guessing that's true. I think people are more social in the US and Canada.

I wish this was true lol. But imagining myself to be fit at 6'1" with no style and personality, I can surely say this is a turn off.

This! I recently realised that I have nothing to offer. I need to work on myself a LOT in order to attract a woman. It's ME who is the problem, not them. I look around and see women taking so much time and effort in prettying themselves, working out, and building up confidence, and I'm a fucking weeping potato wanting a scrape of attention. If I could put the same effort as them and increase my self-esteem, I'm sure I can get there. I'm comparing myself with those confident and skilled men who a…

This is crazy. All these comments are making me remember those moments where girls just stared into my soul like they wanted to abduct me and I never realised what they were upto so I didn't make a move. I mean SOOOO many times that it hurts to remember now. I wanna ask women here that, do women actually stare at men (for more than usual time) for no reason or do they actually feel a sexual tension?

I really need to improve this. I can probably start small with friends of friends. You know the "first get to know" phase is easy. But after that, I literally have nothing to say. I have been in places with people so many times where we were just fucking silent. Standing motionless and quiet whereas others were chatting away. It's so embarrassing ugh.

It is definitely scary, but they don't NEED to ask out. They GET asked out. Whereas a guy would probably die alone if he never asked out.

I think I'll try Snapchat then. I have never used text (SMS) as a means of communicating with anyone because it feels so old fashioned lol. Everybody uses WhatsApp or telegram or social media.

You use Snapchat as a messaging app? I never realised that. Because I've never used Snapchat and probably not use it at all lol.

I've never heard of those two lol. I think I should just straight up ask her haha

What type of nod is acceptable to girls? I do the up nod and down nod for two different reasons subconsciously. The up nod is a more respectful acknowledgment of the person, whereas the down nod is a more friendlier acknowledgment like "hey". Edit: the other way around lol

Well my first language is English, but I'm not a native speaker. As in I didn't grow up in an English speaking country like the US, but have been speaking English since my childhood.

Talking with girls on Tinder honestly feels boring. I have no clue why they reply like it's an interview and never really try to push the conversation forward themselves. They match, but never show interest.

How do you politely make your intentions clear? I have trouble explaining certain thoughts because I'm a non native English speaker.

How do I even approach a shy girl without seeming desperate? Often times it seems like the girl is disinterested in me but she could be just shy. But now it's too difficult to decide what to do because I might seem desperate and creepy if I make any further move so I abandon it.

I never tell anyone that I'm trying to change it starting to take care of myself. It just carves a path for them to make fun of me and make me feel weak. The same reason I don't tell people that I actually put effort into improving English. I just tell them I sorta absorbed it and subconsciously learnt it which is only partly true.

Oh man I'm trying to shift attention away from myself because of my low self esteem. I don't want to talk about myself because i don't like myself. I don't know but this is exactly opposite to what you just described.

I think it's just my hormones of a 21yo, but simply standing or sitting really close to a cute girl can give me a boner and I get so embarrassed because of that. I try to distract myself by walking away or increasing the distance between us which I think breaks off the connection. Ugh I just wish my boners were invisible to other people.

Can I consider working out as my hobby? I always thought it would be odd to call that a hobby, but I love working out. I'm currently on a bulking stage and seeing progress just makes me so happy lol.

I'm clearly dumb here. English is not my first language. Can you explain how the first two lines were flirty? You just asked whether you could buy alcohol. And I don't get what she meant by tackle. Clearly shows I'm bad at seduction haha
/r/seduction29/03/21 04:30 AM

In this same scenario, how should I give my number to her? Just ask her to type it in her phone? What if I don't have a piece of paper and a pen?

I sometimes hit wall in my conversations. For example, when I ask a question, and the other person fully answers it and I have no further questions, I'm just like, "oh yeah that's great". And then that's it. What else do I say? I have a feeling that this is because I'm a non native English speaker, but who knows, maybe even natives have the same problem as me.

pay for the meal you cheap fuck Is it the norm? Every girl gets a free date everytime? Do I have to pay for everything every damn time?? Almost feels like I'm trying to buy her instead of having a mutual relation with her.

I think she took it a bit too far. It felt like she thinks that men should have all the responsibility, including mind reading women. If I was in a relationship, I would be really close friends with my partner and would except to share and have an open relationship, but trying to "figure out" what I'm supposed to do. We both will make it work, not just me.

I play they keyboard sometimes. But I'm just trying to pick up some songs and trying to play those using the music sheet. It takes time to do that. So I'm not really sure whether I'm doing the right thing. And anyway, how would people know or would even care if I play the keyboard at my home anyway lol

I always felt that the concept of "impressing girls" is like tricking them into thinking that you're awesome, rather than actually being awesome. Because it literally means you're going out of your normal routine to do something, which makes it fake.
/r/seduction10/03/21 07:30 AM

Man I have difficulty starting to talk with anyone when there is no context. If I'm at the gym or uni, there's something common to talk, but not anywhere else. I don't know whether it's because I'm a non native speaker or an introvert, but starting a conversation has always been difficult for me. I don't know what words I need to spit out. What do I SAY?!
/r/seduction10/03/21 07:27 AM
6

What's that?
/r/seduction03/03/21 05:30 PM

How do you start the conversation? Being a non native speaker, I have the toughest time in starting a conversation and not continuing it. I mean what were your exact words?

/r/seduction23/02/21 05:43 PM

When you approach, what the hell do you talk about? I mean how do I start? Do you have like a cheat sheet or something? I have been in several situations where I have had nothing to talk about. Literally nothing! I see this girl at gym who's kinda by herself, but not too isolating or something, that I'd like to talk to. She seems friendly. I have asked for help like can we alternate our sets with the same equipment blah blah but nothing beyond that.
/r/seduction23/02/21 05:42 PM
22

This!! I didn't ask the question because I wanna kiss the girl on the first day. That's totally uncomfortable to me. I want to get to know her first, but sitting right in front is a lil scary for me because I have anxiety. I can maintain eye contact for a while while chatting, but it gets too tiring. Follow-up question: do you talk the whole time you're together or is it okay to be silent for sometime? I am a bit "out of topics" most so end up not knowing what to talk about.
/r/seduction18/02/21 03:09 PM

That's the next step right? Am I going the wrong way? /s
/r/seduction18/02/21 02:11 PM

How did you walk with a random girl for 30 minutes without making any contact? Were you following here lol
