What are some hobbies that I can take up that would help me socialize with people while not being fixated at girls?

One recommendation I can give is sports. More specifically team sports like basketball, hockey, soccer etc. It forces you to communicate and play well with other guys. Another good one is co ed teams. It's really great put yourself out there and get to k ow other woman with same commonalities in sports as you. Co ed always works well for me and I definitely encourage it to other guys to get into

When COVID ends, just look for things to do every weekend. Get outside and socialise. That's what I did.

Car shows, meet-ups, protests, live music in a pub, karaoke night, air show, reenactment shows, concerts, steam train ride, skydiving, hang-gliding, rally school, track day, go to the beach, picnic at the local park, star gazing you get the idea. Or sometimes if I'm broke, I'd just go for a walk or a drive and bring my camera with me and get completely lost, stop off somewhere, take pictures and when the evening came I'd try and find my way back home without any satnav or anything. I've done this at national parks around the UK too.

Doing these things just naturally got me out more, got me talking to people and made me comfortable with meeting new people and not thinking anything of it. Just do it often and you'll stop feeling anxious about it.

Don’t do hobbies just for the purpose of getting to meet people and girls. You do them for you and what you are interested in. Generally, women will love that you are passionate about what YOU LIKE, not what you think she would.

On a side note, your hobbies (if you like them) look fine now. Some hobbies I can suggest, not for the purpose of getting girls, are: Music: play an instrument. It helps with cognitive function, plus it’s really cool. I play piano. Gym: idk if this counts as a hobby, but you will love getting in shape and seeing your progress Engineering competitions: you said you like 3D modeling, so are there any competitions out there where you can flex ur skills?

All in all, do hobbies for yourself, not for others.

Dancing, cooking, painting, wine tasting, yoga, possibly crossfit . Depends what type of girls tho... most girls seem to have Netflix and brunch as their top interests

Maybe go around doing photography and make a goal of just talking to people you meet? But in the end, you should do it because you find photography fun, and then talking to people as you're out anyways is a good thing, since meeting new people randomly is fun. I'd say if you like 3d modelling, a drawing/painting class could also be good for you. It's useful for your hobby and a social setting. Just remember, if you're going to painting class to pick up girls, it gets pretty apparent pretty quick.

When you demonstrate it. You don't prepare these skills solely to show them off. You want validation from yourself. It's about confidence. I myself have been singing for as long as I can rememeber, but only a few years ago actually started working on technique n shit and it made me feel great about myself. I think to myself "I know I am good at this." That gives me more confidence, and a hobby that I am passionate about. Hence easier to connect with people that are interested in music.

Base line, find a hobby that you're passionate about, cultivate it and grow as a person like that, while finding likeminded people.

This sounds so stupid, but it's my two takes on it, and it has helped me atleast.

I love all those things!! Biking and tennis are so fun. Try and go outside and take some pictures. I had a photo project once where I had to go up to strangers and ask to take pictures of them and it’s really helped me introduce myself to random people haha. Never going to do it again though but it was a cool experience

Growing and caring for plants, flowers. Really putting your care and your time into helping something grow beautiful. Putting your care and time into helping anything or anyone grow beautiful. Volunteer your time helping and caring for something. Start making the world a better place for no other reason than that it's good and is our only true and worthy purpose. Do that and people will notice. Some will dislike what they see and others will be impressed or inspired or feel kinship and still others will notice nothing at all. It doesn't matter. You'll know and appreciate your efforts and you'll see in real time the difference that you're making and that will be enough. Some will notice that too and truly appreciate it and you and some may even offer their help and those are the people that are for you. They're the people that are truly friends and the people who you'd do well to spend your time and energy interacting with. Like minded friends are the whole of the path to the cessation of suffering and true liberation and enlightenment so said the Buddha. Idk but good work and good friends is definitely something worth looking at right?
