Yeah, I agree with you, just explaining red pill’s reasoning. I personally think promiscuity (unless its like a short phase of exploring) is often a matter of insecurity rathen than attractivness, in both sexes. Especially when coupled with emotional entanglements (situationships)

Agree, I’ve never felt like I had it easy and I am a woman in her “prime” according to the red pill (I’m 23). I have noticed a lot of people being interested in me solely based on knowing my age and looks, but that doesn’t mean much, since they would be just as “interested” in any other girl fitting that criteria. As for personality, I haven’t found a lot of men all that interested in me, I also found out I have quite a different personality to many of them. I can’t really imagine the opposite, …

Honestly, if a “male tears mug” is the best argument for men being dehumanised by the use of the word “male”, you’re just proving my point 😄 However, I do agree that even seemingly minor instances of dehumanisation shouldn’t be glossed over and personally I never use the word “males” to refer to men and an also against others using it

You said that some aspects of the feminist ideology are “mind poison” but the only explanation you’ve given as to why you consider those aspects “poisonous” is that they elicit bad feelings in you. You haven’t actually explained, in a logical and emotionally-detached manner, what is wrong with the ideas of “patriarchy” or “capitalism”. You also haven’t demonstrated any understanding of the actual role that those concepts play in feminist thinking. All you said was that they were often referenced…

So you disagree with feminism because you get triggered by and have a strong emotional reaction to some of the language? Emotions are not facts. If you want to hold opinions based on sound arguments and consistent logic, you need to learn how to differentiate between the two.

Yes, I’m a woman. The male friends that I have are from high school, university, friends of friends, a couple of them I just met randomly. I don’t know about “the majority of men” losing their mind about just being with a woman, or the majority being lonely, or the majority not having female friends. What would be the evidence for that? All I can go off is my observation + the assumption that those are pretty ‘extreme’ situations to be in and unlikely for the average person.

I have the impression that people on Reddit always say that men don’t get any attention. I have several male friends and all of them get quite a lot of attention from girls, and no, they’re not “top 10% genetic gigs chads”. Also I haven’t noticed a pattern where men would have fewer friends than women. Maybe this is an American phenomenon or I am missing something. (I’m from EU)

I feel like a lot of men are interested in me for my looks, pretend they really like me even for my personality but then don’t actually treat me very well. I don’t know what is realistic or fair to expect and how to find people who will treat me that way. For example I need to really develop trust with someone and communicate on a regular basis before I can consider this person my boyfriend. Obviously I am not a man so I haven’t experienced dating from that perspective, but to me looks play only a part of the attraction, I would even say smell is the most important aspect of physical attraction, followed by the way he dresses and hair. Height doesn’t really matter to me as I am short myself. What matters most is charisma, friendliness, kindness, shared interests, shared goals. But hey, I am here looking for insights on how dating works, I am just sharing my personal perspective. You…

That’s like saying “people are using the real world for dating”. Like, Instagram is a place where you can share pictures of your life, see pictures other people post, exchange comments, chat with people… To me it seems reasonable and practical to connect with someone you like over Instagram…?

Thank you for the response! I am woman btw, this is something I have been thinking about lately. Kind of like how to understand guys and the whole psychology around dating. I wish there were some, not some much “rules” but rather “guidelines”. Thank you, I agree. I’ve only had one relationship which lasted over 3 years, we met when I was 20 and somehow I thought we would just be together forever. It was really hard to eventually accept that this wasn’t the person I would end up marrying but I was eventually able to do it and break up with him (luckily we still stayed good friends though). After this experience I want to keep the non-committed stage longer next time, to really get to know the person before make him my partner. But even…

Well, to be objective, there isn’t really an ideal time, everybody’s life is different and some people find their true love at 18, others are still looking in their 50s. But my personal perspective is this: Early 20s: In your early 20s, especially under 23, you are still really immature, and you may be likely to pick the wrong partner for yourself. Most people in their early 20s don’t have a lot of life experience, they are figuring out what they want to do, many are still highly dependent on th…

Who is this girl? A classmate, co-worker…? What is your interest in her based on? You should have like a reason to talk to her, I mean not “I’m looking for a gf and you’re pretty” but more like “I noticed that we share an interest in (X) so I wanted to talk to you about it a little and get to know you..” Also, be aware that she might have a boyfriend, already be talking to one or more guys or not be in a phase where she’s looking for a relationship or even to meet new people. None of this is you…

Absolutely not! I am 23F and I’m not even going to start seriously looking for a partner until I am 24-25. The age range I will be most interested in at that point (though open to several years younger/older) will be 25-28. I think mid to late twenties are actually the ideal time to find partner!

Because just approaching a literal stranger I know nothing about feels strange, he might have a girlfriend, we might not get along, he might even be dangerous. On top of that, I think he could find it invasive and objectifying to be approached just on the basis of his looks. I want to respect his space and privacy and meet potential dates under more appropriate circumstances.

Thank you, this makes sense. Yeah, there’s something about that analogy. Men can be dangerous indeed. Do you have any idea what the motivation behind men approaching literally random strangers on the street, train etc to have a drink together is? It was not an isolated incident. Just: why?
/r/ExRedPill01/02/23 11:20 PM
3

Yes! Why is it that so many men approach women - online, on the street etc. but it isn’t like that the other way around. The other day I was on a train and a complete rando asked me to have a drink with him in the restaurant carriage out of nowhere. Like, why? And I’ve had many similar experiences. The RP interprets this phenomenon as women having it “easy”. That’s not exactly the case because a lot of the time, the value these random ppl approaching you is close to none, sometimes even negative…

6

Thank you for the kind words! I checked out the guy’s profile. To me, his posts seem positive upon first glance but he does seem to encourage women’s subservience to men and other pretty toxic things. Also, I feel like the RP is always a losing game for women. The window during which you’re supposed to be “at your peak” is so small, not to mention it is a very vulnerable time (you’re still very immature and inexperienced at that age, your brain isn’t fully developed), and if your looks and age a…

Thank you very much for sharing. Can you elaborate on what was attractive about the “RP lifestyle” a little bit, please? I got into RP in spring last year because I was seeing a pretty toxic man for a few months who expressed some beliefs consistent with RP (without actually mentioning the name), I researched his opinions and came across the red pill. I was 22 (currently 23). I already had enough self esteem issues as it was and the whole age thing really threw me off. At 22, people were often t…

Sure, being very insecure can cause you to avoid relationships all together no matter your gender. I think that the best predictor of whether or not somebody will be able to have a (successful) relationship is whether or not they BELIEVE they can have one. I’m so sorry you feel this way. How old are you if you don’t mind me asking? The problem with this way of thinking, even though I can kind of understand where you are coming from, is that you are putting your sense of self worth into the hands of people you have no control over. This potentially makes you very vulnerable to narcissists and abusers. Honestly, somebody else liking or disliking you has no bearing on how valuable you are. I find it quite hard to engage with you to be honest. What I can say is that I know fear is a very difficult emotion to manage, I understand the need to rationalise your own fear by external circumstances. Learning about your own intrinsic worth isn’t about being positive for the sake of it. It’s about sitting with your own negative emotions, accepting the things that you can’t control and understanding that you have your own worth despite of that. I hope you’ll be able to see it eventually

Your body is not worthless and not undesirable. Most heterosexual women get aroused by male bodies and desire them. The main value two people bring into each other’s lives is not the way they look though, regardless of gender, keep that in mind.

I (F) used to be really promiscuous so I had sex with a lot of promiscuous men. They came in all shapes and sizes, really.
