What specifically is, according to red pill-ers, wrong with “modern feminism”?

To say you’re not a feminist because of some ridiculous outliers doesn’t make sense.

There are weirdos in every group. Liberals and conservatives both have nuts and good people.

There are bad actors in business, politics, the arts, etc.

The difference is… red pill is based in hating women. That was the genesis, and the ideology grew from that.

Feminism is based on saying “We’d like women to get the same rights as men.”

That’s why there are a ton of male feminists, because many men also want women to be treated equally.

When people see that men are purposely acknowledging the diff in rights between genders, and continue to make laws that keep women held back, they get angry about that. And that’s okay.

Red pill is based in men saying … “I notice that certain women don’t go for certain guys like me. And I hate them for that.”

Women are allowed to feel angry for being oppressed. Men are allowed to feel angry for certain women not wanting to date or marry them.

But there is a big difference here.

Women don’t choose who they are attracted to. In fact, a lot of the shit red pillers are pissed about is stuff that men have created for women.

Tough guy, Chad culture was created by men. It’s in every action movie, etc.

Women and men have been advertised who they should be attracted to from the start.

And if it wasn’t culture affecting their “attraction”, it’s their biology. How do you blame women for that?

Do you want them to try changing who they become attracted to?

On the other side, for feminists, men CAN change the laws. Men CAN stop raping women. That’s a choice they choose not to make.

But what you asked is what might have lead to skepticism about feminism. That’s two things…

Buzzfeed feminism This is what set everyone off. When mansplaining and manspreading were going viral like ten years ago, everyone understandably got upset.

But feminists also hated that era. They called it “white woman feminism”.

Red pill/Conservative propaganda Conservatives noticed this rift in the feminism movement and found an easy way to strike the liberal agenda.

Sooo… Fox News would post videos of women who would go berserk for the weirdest reasons. They even have a woman they invite on who’s hired solely to say the stupidest “liberal” shit. She knows her role.

As that stuff picked up stream then other conservative outlets would post videos like that. And obviously, red pill gurus would post that stuff, reacting to it. Saying “this is what feminism looks like.”

Now it’s to the point where even uttering the word feminism is taboo.

I literally dgaf what you call it. I just want everyone to be treated equally and have the same rights.

Who cares if it’s called feminism or whatever. I don’t like seeing people treated differently because of who they are.

But again, this is another place red pill has radicalized boys. Because the specific purpose of red pill is about hating women, and having power over them, they will ONLY see negative things about womens’ rights.

Personally, I just love women. Even if every woman on earth hates my guts, I’d still love them. Even when I was a kid and was so frustrated as to why girls wouldn’t like me—I never thought “I hate women.” I always just thought “What can I do to get better with them?”

Because I never thought that any of it is womens’ fault. Even though most PUA stuff is crap, one thing they never did is blame it on them.

The common argument I see is about single mothers. The thinking is that women having sexual freedom post 1960s has brought about social and moral decay. Women have become promiscuous and are responsible for the destruction on the traditional family. Children are born out of wedlock to independent single mothers who don't value men and in the absence of strong father figures and male leaders raise soft weak effeminate children. These growing hordes of single mothers in turn hold massive sway over government, school and workplace policies that are pro women and seek to promote and normalize this way of life. It's a doomsday perspective that is very strong among even the basic Red Pillers.

For me, I just really fucking hate the way the term "patriarchy" is used and fucking thrown around like a literal reified buzzword. God that word triggers the fuck out of me, i hate it, i hate it so much when people use it because it just ends up being used the exact same way fucking socialists and other far leftists use the term "capitalism" as the bogeyman for all their problems.

I browse menslib alot and I read it while eating, and one thing that pisses the everliving fuck out of me is when I see not only people using "Patriarchy" but also blaming a lot of problems that affect them on capitalism as well. God it's so irritating and fucking obnoxious.

So basically, my issue with "modern feminism" is how much the ideology has the same kind of mind poison that exists in the far left sphere of politics. I'm a liberal btw, specifically, I'm a social democrat.
