I outgrew my father in my late 20's, as my Dad is helplessly beta. But I also became more sympathetic towards him. He never got the guidance he needed either, nor did he ever develop the self-reflectiveness to question it.

Post-wall single women are seething masses of desperation and anger with stupid hair just waiting for a man to give them a reason to unleash their fury. If you are a happy man who deviates from their opinion of how they think a man should behave, you're fucked. That sentence might've struck me as rhetoric if I hadn't experienced it myself.

"Bratting" is a term I wasn't familiar with, but it perfectly describes the behavior of my latest plate who is a sub. I found myself naturally doing what you recommend (clear warning followed by discipline.) I'm eagerly anticipating your next post, Vas. You're doing the lord's work.

This is also why men regret not fucking a chick "for the last time." If the sex comes to an abrupt halt, the thought that she is left with a less-than-dominant impression is frustrating. Always bring your A-fuck-game.

Women are addicted to attention, and since loser women have nothing but their pussy to barter with they need constant validation of their desirability. They'll take it wherever they can find it.

I read it long before I'd heard of TRP, it's what set me on this path. I'm not exaggerating when I say it changed my perspective completely.

The answer is that the "abundance" in "abundance mentality" means abundance of opportunities, not abundance of successes. That sentence alone bears repeating. Whisper has been posting quality for a long, long time. You don't have to tip him, but at least be constructive.

I think most men post-anger phase come to this conclusion; acceptance of reality pushes us to make our own fulfillment. The confidence that comes from it is what makes a man.

Have you ever considered the idea that their values might be right values and your values might be the wrong values? Probably not. Do they consider it? Of course. Just like us. And they reject it, just as we do, for their reasons. Any society that decides its values aren't the "right" ones is doomed, at least, to a cultural death. The mathematical probability of outsiders having evil intentions is LESS than that of insiders. Why do outsiders have the moral obligation to be "good", when insiders …

Women treat men like men treat their jobs. That's gold. This makes sense when you consider betas being run by their women - they're never happy about being in charge. It's exhausting to them. How can you respect a man you have to order around? But they trudge through it until they decide to bail/divorce, much to the surprise of the men. It's a living.

Stopped reading this shit here. You didn't even read it. Your opinion added nothing. Illimitable men is a great resource and the link you posted is worth reading. You can downvote a post you don't like. But TRP is amoral. If it were egregiously against the grain the mods would've nixed it.

"I'll try" coming from a woman usually means "I won't try very hard, but you can't call me on it later." Fuck me that's funny. I thought the switch from I know you are nearby, if you’d just give us a chance. to I have chosen you at this point in my life, but I can only wait so long. was amusing. My personality works in the way that I don't have opinions on anything I don't have much knowledge and/or personal experience about. I need to have a reason in order to have opinion. That's how my mind works. Unless I experienced something, I question everything. Fair enough. I've adjusted the "needing to have a reason" part. If there's a feeling, I want to deconstruct why I have the feeling - good or bad, right or wrong - especially if I don't have experience with it. That's why TRP was importa…

A lot of the guys here have moms like yours (I do.) Same with the religion thing. The life script thing. Not drinking is a personal choice that anyone who isn't an asshole shouldn't give a shit about unless you're telling them to not drink too. Fuck TV, fuck celebrities, who gives a fuck about pop music. You're one of us. My guess is you're in your early 20's and have yet to grasp that nothing you're doing is revolutionary. You can do whatever you want.

I haven't downvoted you. You should want to argue with us. Tell us why we shouldn't think it's OK to have a double standard. Through argument we test each other's theories and try to come to an understanding. I focus on your character because I want to know what kind of man you are. You come across as passive-aggressive which is why /u/OMGTRIGGERED called you a girl.

What makes you think you're not brainwashed by society and family? I don't want to be treated like a child and I refuse to treat adult women as children either. I don't fuck the retarded. That's rough, fcj. But at least you saw the light and can remember him as an amazing guy. You could've gone your whole life thinking of him as someone undeserving of your respect. Part of what makes the dominating mother/submissive father dynamic so depressing is the culturally reinforced notion of "happy wife, happy life." It's as if men just gave away their masculinity over 2 generations and women want the world to act as if this is the proper and natural way to live. Fuck that.

I am, almost word for word, going through what you described. I'm at the 30-35 part of your story. I no longer think my Dad is a fuckup pussy that my mom was a saint for tolerating. I see a browbeaten man who has his share of problems. He took refuge from the world in a domineering woman. As long as he takes her abuse he can relinquish control of his life. My Mom makes the decisions. This is a pattern I've noticed among other men in my family. It's a virus. I took a line from Patrice O'neal when…

I'll say it again: RP is about being a better man. Pussy is just a part of the game. If you think you're always going to be beta then that's exactly how you'll end up. I know plenty of naturals who are beta as fuck. They get chicks easily but they get led around like children and abused (sometimes physically) and they take it like fucking bitches. Then when the natural gets a bit older with his ho and gets comfortable he starts getting a gut. All of a sudden she's not attracted to him anymore an…

AWALT. Always. That doesn't mean there aren't some brilliant women out there. But they're still women, and subject to a woman's emotions. What's your philosophy on life? What motivates you? Everyone's experiences are different, and you explained yours. I've found that my experiences are, in general, similar to those of other men on this subreddit. What's worse is that because she writes for the Guardian I'll bet her ego is enormous. She has her own personal soapbox from which to spout her bullshit. She's probably looked upon by friends as intelligent, witty, and frank. I'll bet when she hangs out at pubs in Brixton or where-the-fuck-ever she's loud, attention seeking, and applauded for it. All of this, sadly, makes her seem more spicy and cool to the British variety of pussy (or fanny, as they say.)

And yet people today seem more egotistically bound to their opinions and apt to tell you that they have it all figured out. Confirmation bias coupled with solipsism. Facebook and Google are going to show you things that you like. They want your time and attention. Your world is sorted algorithmically to keep you nice and cozy. This isn't a recent phenomenon either... Vatican popes who had drug-induced orgies with their own children (Alexander V I believe) Pope Alexander VI, Rodrigo Borgia, is the wild and crazy pope. The themes of Fight Club have elements of RP. Like when Tyler is talking about why do we (read: men) know what a duvet is. It's important to point out that the Palahniuk is gay, so you can also filter it through that lens. Gay men have been calling women on their shit for centuries. The movie is great, but not RP. I don't think it's valid to compare Roman hedonism with the sexual landscape we are faced with today. There are other factors such as birth control, 2nd wave feminism, legalized abortion, and so on that brought us to where we are. The desire to fuck is not the same as being promiscuous. What General Patrice says is that given the choice a man who has a beautiful wife, a seductive mistress, and a nymphomaniac girlfriend will still get some strange because it's in his nature to do so. She could be…

These kinds of discussions go nowhere. The Red Pill metaphor alludes to a rude awakening so there are elements of sadness, bitterness, a longing for ignorance and thus innocence. The point is that our interactions were based on faulty perceptions. Everything prior to TRP, by definition, lacks clarity. The woman's power in a relationship is derived from her choice to accept a man. That's how you know you're in a relationship. Are you sleeping with her? Yes or no. The man's power in a relationship, on the other hand, is derived from his choice to reject a woman. In other words, his power comes from his ability to walk away. It is his choice to give commitment and provisioning that signals that he is in a relationship. Are you taking care of her? Yes or no. That's his bargaining chip. If he is n…

I saw that Lazarus Long reference in another thread. I've been inspired to pick up Time Enough For Love and read my first Heinlein. Thanks guys.

It's not a jerk thing; it's an I don't owe anyone an explanation thing. I still catch myself explaining to death sometimes. I would spend a ridiculous amount of time re-writing e-mails and texts. What's sad to me is that people respond far better to my frankness than they ever did to my attempts at accommodation. It's almost as if they're relieved when I take control...

The last time I watched Raw was a couple of years ago when I was deep in the Matrix. It's as if I were watching a completely different show...

Same with awalt; all women act that way (to some degree), but can be self aware enough to temper and focus that inclination. A lot of the men who found their way here did so because the women we were with seemed like the type who were able to do that. Many of us had built our entire image of womanhood around this concept of enlightened feminism and gentle masculinity. We weren't even aware of another option; "being an asshole" as I would have thought of it was not a viable lifestyle.

Hey /u/JP_Whoregan, I always enjoy your posts. I'd like to add that you're forgetting the important factor of woman-on-woman shame. While I agree that "Hell yeah I'm a slut" is the endgame, it'll be kept at bay for a while. Women enjoy tearing other women down far too much to forgo the target slut.

There was a time where the thought of a woman I was involved with fucking another dude would've made me see red and shake my fists at the heavens. Now I understand that she was never mine, it was only my turn. No big deal.

I'm one of those newcomers. I can only speak for myself but I find that I "check in" on my frame during the day. Nothing calculated; just a reminder of what my intentions are in that moment. With that comes concern over falling back into former beta patterns. What was once sullen is now focus. I may not smile much, but there's no hate behind my eyes. My anger has become purpose. And while there's an intensity around that keenness, I do my best to keep it playful with those I'm friendly towards.

Sounds like I could have written both yours and OP's comments. I first read NMMNG last year but didn't discover this subreddit or the "manosphere" until about a month ago. Reading No More Mr. Nice Guy felt like being punched in the fucking skull. I remember reading it over and over for a week. I finally had part of the explanation as to why I'd always felt so desperate for affection. Why no one seemed to feel as deeply or love as strongly as I did. Why the world was so unfair and if only everyon…
