I'm assuming you actually use all the HSA amount? Max is great if you actuality spend that much, which I've never come close to. Maxing out 401k, especially when you're young, is a great thing, too, but don't forget present value of money in the mix. 401ks, for me, are a tax haven because I don't need the money now, but they are a form of golden parachute for the worst case scenario. If I needed the money for a passive income source, I'd invest over the 401k, or at least only up to the matching …

Agree with this and also add if you're thinking long-term, living with good roommates AND paying cheaper rent than living alone is a win-win. I know he said all things being equal but living alone vs living with roommates is almost never equal in price unless you're living way beyond your means. You might get a little more ass in your 20's living alone but it's probably marginal given good roommates, and I'd rather save the bucks for later.

I'll go the opposite route here and assume her positives actually outweigh her negatives and you're not just a prodding loser but an avid Red Pill follower. Why did you allow the argument to happen this way? I mean, obviously if you were a strong captain, this wouldn't have happened but put that to the side for a minute. My wife is BPD. She used to hit me but that stopped once I started changing my actions. A heated argument on unstable ground is not an AA or teasing environment, it's a STFU sce…

I'll second the NMMNG recommendation and also recommend Dale Carnegie's classic "How to Win Friends and Influence People". As a DSM-IV certified, socially retarded Aspie myself, this book was very helpful to me.

have true feelings for her I have true feelings for reuben sandwiches but I know I'm not in love with them nor need them. This post has oneitis all over it; hard next. we are both 17 Really?? You have a whole field of pussy to plow ahead of you. She may be really nice but just...no. I don't know of any real world stories that ended "I'm with the forever girl that cheated on her boyfriend with me". More than likely, it's "she cheated on her boyfriend with me, and then cheated on me".

Any woman (or person for that matter) that just openly retaliates with physical violence is mentally disturbed. I wouldn't have even explained right vs wrong, just shook my head and walked away. As posted, unless your life is in the balance, don't hit a woman. She had discussed the incident with some of her friends later, saying that she thinks I hate her now. Care less.

As an accountant, it's a broad field so it's not accurate to talk in absolutes. I know lots of wealthy "accountants", myself included. I haven't touched a tax return other than my own (for fun!) since college. But I will say from experience in the engineer vs accountant query here that a degree doesn't define you. I deal in business development now but did so by studying all the functions of the business, beyond accounting. I also worked with a plant manager who was a project manger before that …

I'm not a man of your illustrious wealth, however, I am wealthy myself. I live like Warren Buffet: house that's way under what I could afford, old Honda, generous when I give gifts but never extravagant, etc. My wife knew I had money but she also knew I was not ever going to live a life of luxury. For her, money exists for security and that's it. And a pre-nup helps too! Find a woman that follows your lead and is happy when you spend money on her, not dictating what she needs you to buy to make …

My perspective: I have Aspergers. I'm socially retarded and could not care less about another person's opinions. However, I have no problem putting on a mask and acting like I give a shit, even if it's just a bit. Acting, or subtle manipulation, has been my key to RP success.

It all depends what you're into. I personally am fond of stealing the girl right in front of white knight/orbiters. But I'm a sick fuck. I agree it's not the ideal situation but from personal experience sometimes when you meet a girl online they'll bring a 3rd wheel for their safety and waive them off when they're comfortable. Even if it's another male, I know they are likely a beta bitch and quite frankly, a nothing to me in terms of competition.

My sister/BIL were big into the RE industry (mortgage/flipping/appraising/selling) and went bankrupt in '09. They've turned things around and now own and manage rental properties. The housing market will shift but people will always need to rent, even (and possibly more so) during a recession. Make hay when the sun is shining, have a slow drip and a penny jar for when the market turns.

If he's really a narcissist, they'll be perfect for each other. That being said, I went down this road with my wife and it took years of therapy for her to resemble a co-pilot. And she barely showed any red flags unlike your example. So...I'd give him fair warning that she's crazy and not worth the time but ultimately it's his choice.

I only use three pics ever: Showing value with women: Close-up on my face with arm around a hb9, smiling Physical sexuality: A picture of me at the beach looking into the sun, showing off my shirtless body Showing social value: wearing a suit at a work function Profile is short and succinct with bullshit girls look for: "Looking for a partner in adventure", height (unless you're really short), Myers Briggs personality type (wtf girls want this, I don't know, but it's always a good old man talk c…

There are many, many master seducers throughout history who I would consider being red pill yet not even close to alpha male.

True. I LOVE when women give input about their friends sex lives as a standard. "I didn't realize I was fucking your friends."

Beta/cuck cop-out. "Nah, I'm red pill, I'm just not an alpha male; I'm a sigma male. I'm just too deep and introspective, man." (His girl goes and fucks Chad, he cries [But on the inside!])

Leading a "happy" school life knowing what you know would be deluding yourself. If you become a natural leader and not care about what others think, in a few years you will be followed by both men and women. You've got a head start on most of us, don't waste it.

Why even put your height? Is that your only asset? I've known alphas that are 5'6" and AA'd any ball busting about their height. Who gives a shit?

A lot of hamstering going on here; rationalizing his problems (not your problem!) From your description, you gave out of abundance so I'd tear up the check. That means he owes you nothing (no covert contracts!). If he handles it poorly (why do you give a fuck??) that's his issue. Tell him to quit being a bitch and give you the money back when he's good or not give it back at all.

You need to get the girl in isolation. If you get to the point of making out, it should be easy to either: 1) get her number for another time or 2) change venue. Have you read Bang yet? Sounds like it would be helpful...

I'd stay the course, my man. At 13, those girls barely have a clue what an alpha looks like and have been barraged by white knight/beta behaviors. You may lose friends but knowing what you know now, do you think you'd have those friends at 18? Are they worth your time/opportunity cost?

Yeah, if you've got all your shit together and she just flat out doesn't want to give BJs, it's something in her mind. Reminds me of that dialogue out of WISNIFG about going to the nude beach. Get to the bottom of the issue and find a workable compromise, if it is in fact really about you just getting head.

EDIT: Frankly, your wife is acting like a woman who wants to make your life so miserable that YOU divorce HER. That way, she can stand before her friends and family and blame the end of the marriage on you. END EDIT Yup. Yet again made me think of this.

I think you're right but I think it's a singular application of game. I've met girls where hyperbole and vagueness are more alluring strategies.

Agree, push-ups wear me out. I limit myself to a set amount if I'm doing multiple sets. That's why I usually save them for the end to exhaust chest, arms, shoulders all at once.

Do pushups add value to your workout, or are they merely an increased way to add strain to your body? Depends what you're going for to some degree. Bench focuses on chest isolation whereas push-ups work more of some ancillary muscles. Strength or size? Bench. Chest striation or pectoral shape framing? Push-ups. I almost never bench anymore and if I do, it's almost entirely incline to give my pecs a square shape instead. When I do push-ups, it's always max reps, and when I say max reps, I mean wh…

I am finishig Models however I have kind of mixed takeaways from the book. It looks like Mark is stressing "being yourself", focusing "correct demographic" and "being vulnerable"... does not all of that just train you to being good provider for your onetis? I often struggle with Manson's works. I get his core message but his writings seem very purple pill to me. I think talking specifically on seduction works, you have to say, "ok, this isn't really me, but I understand the message" or use certa…

To add-on, in a marital context, when your woman is losing her shit, go ahead and try to AA. It may be something that always works for you but not others. In their irrational frame, it may come across as sarcasm and their feelings will be projected all over you. You've probably lost that battle. Also note that we have complex conversations in these situations; you're not picking up a girl at the bar. I primarily use fogging unless negative inquiry and assertion are necessary, and then, once in m…
