Cold showers and paleo for going on 2 years now too. Good stuff. Never felt better.

Yeah, so what? All you can do is look for a job that will allow you to make enough to live, and not interfere with your disability. Life being difficult vs. easy is all perspective. Try to improve a little bit every day. Read, learn new things, meet people that will help foster your journey.

Eh, I've taken plenty of phenibut and had a few drinks. It just amplifies the alcohol. I wouldn't say medicine, just tell her you're taking vitamins if anything.

I'm 25 now and basically skipped school to party and have fun until now, but am realizing I'm going to be forever broke at this rate. I'm considering going back to school since I have pretty much my first two years of comp sci done. I feel like it would guarantee a good job by the time I'm 30. Why did you stop pursuing it?

I agree with the guy above. You're likely having some neurotransmitter issue. Keep exploring options and find a good doctor. Get all your bloodwork checked if you haven't already.

You have to let her pick the other girl.

Textbooks, notebooks, pens and pencils, and a decent light are all you need. Don't overcomplicate it bro. Be disciplined with your schoolwork and the good grades will happen.

Read and mediate. Go for a hike or bike ride. 4 weeks is nothing.

Have an abundance mentality. If you were talking to multiple other girls would you really care about a single one that shut you down? Probably not. It would just be business as usual. Be cool, calm, and collected if you talk to her or see her, but don't worry about her.

Alright, so I've got a couple pieces of advice for you bud. We'll go in the order of your post. Firstly, I would say just finish your business degree. It doesn't matter what you want to eventually do, but just having a degree will count for more than anything(other than connections) in the professional world. A business degree would probably be more valuable than a bullshit English degree. Even if you switched most of your credits should apply to any major at this point. You're already half way …

Yes, that's a good one. Read about 6 months ago and reaffirmed many things I already believed. My question is more how do I get to the position where I'm implementing those strategies.

Okay, now that you've vented, just take a deep breath for a second. The world isn't ending. Everything that is wrong with your life is shit you can change! Yes, it will take time, but you're only 18 so you have plenty of it. The big thing I'm seeing is that you're focusing on 10 different things at once. You gotta take it one step at a time. I'd probably start by getting your GED. After that, or at the same time, get some bullshit job. Flip burgers, clean bathrooms, whatever, just get something …

Yeah definitely just get some job for the time being. If you don't think you're going to stick with school my advice would be to apprentice for a trade. Plumbers, electricians, ironworkers etc. After a few years you'll easily be able to support yourself if you're dedicated. If technology is more your thing get singe entry level job and then get your certifications. Start with a job first, build some confidence and self respect, and then set a goal for the next thing.

Biking, bodyweight workouts, reading, yoga, and generally just random free events in town. Living in a big city there's always something to do.

Okay. More context helps. My advice would be to stick it out and wait until your finished with school. Them paying for that and living at home are big benefits that probably outweigh doing your own thing now. As soon as you're done with school and can move out then do whatever you want.

Let books be your mentor until you find one in real life. Most of the books recommended here will give you the advice a true RP mentor would, the only thing they can't give you is feedback. Ask questions here if nothing else. Try to develop a character of your own, where you're not emulating someone else, but just being yourself.

Everything on internal frame will be valuable at your young age. Cultivate mental fortitude and emotional stoicism. The nice guy/asshole dichotomy is a overly basic way to look at it. You don't have to treat women like shit, just respect yourself enough to not be an emotional tampon to girls. Train your body and eat big to get big gains. If you desire to have sex then apply the sexual strategies that are central to TRP. Keep reading, learning, and applying.

You need to figure out what you truly want out of life. For me, I want to make an impact on the world. I want to help people. I want freedom to travel and have nice things. All this has driven me to start my own business. I'm on track to make enough money where that's all becoming a reality. But this is just me. Maybe you want to be president, maybe you want to become a monk and live in the mountains. You have the ability to choose though. Have a mission in life and go after it like you're dying…

Seems like he hasn't with the wording of the last sentence. OP, just respond with "k". Soft next. Depending on response organize a meetup and physically escalate. If nothing happens hard next.

I feel the same way from time to time. Meditation has helped tremendously. You have to let go of the fairytale and realize that your perception of their perfect life was unlikely the reality. Focus on yourself. Keep improving. Create your own ideal life.

It shows that you're high value. You have other options and aren't scared to lose one girl. It's really not about being a dick, just about respecting yourself.

She still wants your emotional validation. Don't give it to her. Hard next, no contact. She will run back because she thinks your a good little beta, but don't buy into her "I love you, I'm sorry" bullshit. Trust me it's all just going to repeat if you do. Have some respect for yourself. Focus on you. Get other bitches.

It would probably be something along the lines of "Look (douchebags name), nobody here appreciates your childish attitude. Why don't you look for a new job somewhere else in the state/country? If you have that degree I would think you should be earning more. I could rent my own house with 41k where I live (south US). As far as social proof you just need to get out and do things you enjoy, and talk to other people. Start building a social circle. Social proof isn't the goal, it's the byproduct.

Yeah, I've learned more than once to not shit where you eat. The pre selection would be a good way to play it though. You can still game her, but I wouldn't go escalating physically unless she's really giving you the signals.
/r/askTRP20/10/16 02:03 AM

Honestly it seems like you care too much. "Getting coffee after 12:15 would be perfect!" is too desperate, should have just said "see you at 12:15". Saying shit like "obviously you aren't interested, unmatch" comes off as childish. With abundance you wouldn't give two shits. Your text game isn't horrible but I would drop all the exclamations and try to not put too much effort into the texting. Meeting up is when you'll make more of an impression.
/r/askTRP19/10/16 04:22 AM

Yeah, if the price and location were right then why not. Make sure you set rules though, as getting too friendly may lead to the tenants walking over you.

The grass is always greener. Don't get too attached to new girls until you have sex. Sounds like you're not very happy in your ltr, but living together complicates things. If you're planning to move out then you'll be free to do whatever you want and date as many girls as you want.
/r/askTRP10/09/16 10:59 AM
2

Just go out to have fun. If you're overthinking it the whole time then you'll fuck up. Be confident. You're going to need to touch her and physically escalate before you can take her home. Just don't go falling in love with this one girl and you won't get "cucked".

Congratulations on the progress you've made so far. Never stop lifting, and keep eating to gain mass. Joining the frat was as smart move as long as you are benefiting from it. Okay, so i have a lot to say, bear with me. Just because you are young and new doesn't mean you should be disrespected by other people. If they're just messing with you learn to banter back. Keep lifting, with a good diet you can get big and strong. Looks won't matter as much. Getting better at talking just takes practice. Pay attention to your body language and conveys you intentions by physically escalating.

Women are using their social skills all the time. They simply have more practice. The world preconditions them for it. A girl like that knows how the game is played because of all the times she's done it before.

Sure people with those personalities exist, but life isn't so polarized. I strive for an "alpha" personality, but it's much more than your description. Striving to be a good man is the best way to live. If you haven't already read it, the Way of Men by Jack Donovan is a great book.

All I'm reading is fucking excuses. You know what excuses don't get? Results. Quit making excuses for why you can't have the life you want and start taking action to get to that place. Work out consistently even if it's only mild. Work towards recovering to the point where you can start doing resistance training. Get your nutrition dialed. No junk food or fake bullshit. Drink a shit load of water, the more the better. Look into supplements like 5htp, st johns wort, and ashwaganda to get over you…

Psychopathy is not a quality you can truly acquire. It's is the inability to empathize with others. Not really something to be envied. Reframe your OCD to help you positively complete things to the best of your ability, but you have to be able to control it. If you're still unable to I would continue seeing a therapist as they can probably give you better ways to cope than we can.

I completely agree with theredstoic, you're going to have to learn to cope with that anger until it dispels. Took me a few years and some heartache, but it will get better. Meditation had helped me big time, couldn't recommend it enough.

None of those supplement are "addictive" like that. They are along the lines of taking a vitamin, with the exception of phenibut which I take only when I go out as it kills all my anxiety and makes me more social. Well, atleast it seems like you have a pretty objective idea where you stand in life. The biggest thing that I think you should do is find some friends. Having a couple buddies you can go out and do shit with will help your mental state and alleviate some of the loneliness. Truly you want to work towards being happy alone, but obviously there is value in having a social circle. Get involved in activities that interest you where you can meet new people. Good to see that you're focused on yourself. Meditation and reading will help with your confidence. Practice good body language. Worried about being intellectual seems silly to me. Don't over think shit and just keep quiet more often. The more you say the less your words mean. In the end you want to develop that abundance mentality and be confident that you are the prize. Having the same problem here, especially since I don't use Facebook. With all my male friends, it seems like every few weeks is acceptable unless we explicitly plan something. Hey man, I know I'm a little late here but I struggle with major depression so I totally know how you feel. It fucking sucks and it can seem like your just falling down an endless hole. That's a good response. You're the one being a useless faggot by commenting that shit when this guy is trying to help you. It is more than just what you say, it's your frame that is putting you in the position of looking like a pussy that has to answer those stupid shit tests.

I'm mildly educated on keto diets, though I haven't read much into hormonal effects of the diet. I just finished "Testosterone.io" a few days ago and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who works out. The main focus of the book is to optimize the endocrine system function taking nutrition, training, and many other variables into account. As for carbohydrate intake in relation to hormone production Christopher Walker says the following in his nutrition section of the book: "Your body’s natural horm…

Alpha response is no response. You don't have time to keep rearranging your life for one girl. Ideally you have plans with other women. If she doesn't text you in a week you can try again with the same approach, inviting her along to an activity that you're doing. If she declines and doesn't try to work out other plans then she isn't interested. On to the next.

Haha, I agree, you should not take disrespect from other people lightly. Assertively draw your boundaries, just don't get butthurt from other people's insecure comments. Getting angry and insulting them back is exactly the response they're trying to elicit.

I would disagree with the statement that being depressed is just you "being a pussy" because you can't necessarily just change your mentality to non-pussy and cure yourself. TRP view would be to workout consistently, meditate often, and eat good, nutritionally dense foods. Doing cardiovascular exercise will stimulate the release of endorphins, thus alleviating some depression symtoms. Speaking from personal exp…

Can't really recommend a good cookbook, i feel like the meals are always over complicated, but i don't have much free time to mess with making big meals. Honestly I just keep it simple and shoot for a calorie and protein goal daily based on my weight and fitness goals. Personally I do eggs, sausage, onion, and bell pepper for breakfast. Fruit and nuts pre lunch. Baked chicken, rice, veggies for lunch. Protein shake midday snack. Crock pot meal for dinner (some variation of meat, vegetables, and …

I agree with the other commenters on this thread recommending an improved diet. Many of the problems you are having seem to be related to your mental health. Nutrition, in conjunction with lifting, can have a MASSIVE impact on your mindset. Your focus should never be just women. Focus on yourself and development with women will come as a byproduct.

Read "Way of the Superior Man" by David Deida. It will give an alternative view on how to be red pill without being abusive/sociopathic. You must be dominant in relationships, but choosing the right way to be dominant is important for the success of your relationships and sex life.

Ditch her, work on yourself. Your mindset is not RP. You're putting too much value in validation from women rather than personal self confidence.

I think the opiates and alcohol gave you a feeling of outcome independence. Now that you're not using you're more focused on gaming the girls than simply having fun. It'll just take time and patience to change your mindset.

Honestly, if I had 5 grand sitting on the table I'd start another business. Nobody can tell you what business to start, but that's enough capital to get a small business rolling. If you have any debt it would be wise to apply it towards that as well.

Good job Ollie, keep up the hard work and maintain the positive mindset. Change isn't easy, but it molds and tempers you into being a better man. I wouldn't go into the date with the "trying to plate" mindset. Just have fun, maintain frame, and see what happens.

I believe that your mindset, not your life, is that which is truly holding you back. Through learning to control your thoughts and shifting the views that are leading you to suffering, you can control your happiness.

The only person you can control in life is yourself. Like you said, you two are not even dating. Telling her this would make you seem controlling and irrational since it wouldn't make any sense to her. It would be a lose-lose situation. If you truly have a "thing" for this girl you need to continue to escalate with her and push for the relationship you seek.

This is how many come to the realizations that make up red pill ideology. It's not necessarily something you can tell him and he will learn. Life is the best teacher.

I too, have faced this crisis in my life. A true existential dilemma if you will, but there is hope and freedom in changing the way you think. Red pill ideals go far beyond situations strictly involving women. It is much more a frameset for how YOU can be happy with your own life, independent of anyone else. To not seek validation through relationships. Life is what you make of it. Yes, there is much suffering and despair, but there is also beauty and wonder. So much happiness to be found in so …

Do you think this comes with a shift of thinking or experience? It's not so much a problem that I have anymore, but something I've seen others struggle with and I'd like to open it for discussion. My cure came with changing my attitude and gaining the natural confidence that came out of experience with multiple women.

The confidence of being in control is a powerful thing. Not rewarding her for bad behavior and holding frame works nearly all the time when done right. It's almost funny how they will cave to be part of your world and change their behavior.

We all struggle with this, it's difficult to initially generate good habits, but a rewarding experience when you're consistently achieving your goals. Try to concentrate on one thing at a time and not catastrophize your life. It may not be going exactly how you want it right now, but that should only add motivation to improve. Another thing I would touch on is that this may be partially biological. Eating right will provide your mind with the nutrients that you need to think straight. Lifting wi…

Just make eye contact with whomever you're speaking with. If you're addressing the whole group you can casually shift to other people as you discuss the topic. Maintain good posture as well. I don't think eye contact and conversational engagement are necessarily directly related but it shows that you are focused and attentive to the person that you are speaking with.

It's all about what you're ultimately seeking out of life and what this woman brings to the table. Maintain an attitude of abundance mentality when getting feelings of attachment. Be clear with your boundaries and if you're not looking to be monogamous, then don't. This is your life. Be selfish. Improve daily. Get what you want and don't ever settle.

Meditation and reflection of red pill ideals will eventually help you internalize the attitude you desire. Lifting and eating right will help build good hormone levels that allow your mind and body to perform optimally when presented with tough situations. Try not to be reactive, but instead take a moment to think about why you're feeling "passive aggressive, bitchy". Changing yourself is a marathon, not a sprint. It will take time. Just be patient and try to improve daily.

Sports or clubs that are driven by ideals you share. Be a leader. It will attract others that are like you or would share similar values.

Honestly, after being slapped and then all of your friends reactions I would have probably just left. It's not worth it to get all upset after they take her side. They obviously don't share the same ideals as we do. You did the right thing by asserting yourself and telling her that it was not acceptable behavior, but continuing the whole thing and going nuclear did nothing but make your night worse. Finding new friends can be tough, especially quality ones. That's why it's important to weed out …

Nutrition is key. Eat more food and drink more water. Make sure you're getting enough electrolytes. Start taking a multivitamin if you don't already. Shoot for 6-8 hours of sleep a night and try to keep the time you sleep consistent.

I think it's better to strive to be a kind and patient person. Everyone in the world is suffering and going through there own struggles. It's not your job to fix their lives for them, but treating people in general with kindness shows wisdom and emotional maturity.

You should strive to raise your SMV not for nobody else but yourself. You have oneitis for this girl big time. She's not going to change, she's not going to become some loyal princess. You can't control her and the fact that you're even trying and jealous when she's around other people is a bad sign. Just like you said AWALT.

I understand what you're feeling as I too felt that way around your age. It will pass with time and experience, as all things do. The only constant in life is time. You're young buddy, and you need to love yourself before you can even think about loving someone else.

At what point do you decide that a girl within a circle of friends is a no-go? I get if you're catching oneitis, then on to the next, but hypothetically if she is sexually attracted to you and just waiting for you to make a move then what? I feel like the negative repercussions would mainly affect her as opposed to him.

It's only as big of a deal as you make it. I can't wait to be off probation, and yes it sucks ass and stresses me out but you know what? I can't change any of it, I can't magically be out of this situation. All I can control is my attitude. That's what makes the difference between a man and a boy. Facing situations head on and dealing with tough shit. As my favorite saying goes "Adversity builds character."

You want to have friends over for the weekend? Cool and not at all unreasonable. It's not like you uninvited her over. She doesn't have any more right to control your life than you have to control hers. Her emotions and getting upset about something so petty is her problem and honestly shows a lack of maturity on her part. Honestly, I wish I would have conciously been able to recognize when I was getting oneitis when I was younger and nip it in the bud. Abundance mentality. Be the best version o…

I'd highly recommend reading and meditation, especially since it seems you'll be free from external distractions for the most part. Learn to enjoy the time you spend with yourself. If you get bored of reading find some podcasts that relate to your interests. Bodyweight fitness routines are good for building lean full-body strength and are easy to do with little to no equipment.

I'd say just don't be too direct about it or they'll realize you're trying to "show off" that you have a dark side rather than it being something more natural that they'll be attracted to.

I'm the former. Well dressed and groomed white guy. If I'm going to disclose anything it'll be pretty minimal like "I've been a bad boy so I can't drink right now, my probation officer wouldn't be too happy with me" or something to that extent. It was only a minor offence anyways so I feel like it adds some mystery, and contradiction to my appearance. Seems to work in my favor most of the time.

Seems like this happens to a lot of people(myself included). There's a point at which you need to recognize your worth and have the self-respect to no longer stay with a company that doesn't give you the same respect.

I know "nice guys" is a very generalized term but I think in most senses of the word, those guys do finish last. Their inability to be confrontational or need to keep everyone happy puts them in a position where they're putting others before themselves. These guys may benefit society as a whole, but they're usually hurting themselves in the long run.
