Yeah, if the price and location were right then why not. Make sure you set rules though, as getting too friendly may lead to the tenants walking over you.

It sounds like an awesome idea. I'm living in an off campus apt with 3 other dudes and it's waaaay better than living on campus. If the price is right, and you're encouraged by your land lord to rage, I dont see any reason you shouldn't. Just make sure those underage kids at the party don't get you in trouble.

When I went to college I did this. Ran a party house. Bar in the basement, 2 big screen TVs with huge sectionals and black lights everywhere.

While its great from the perspective that everything comes you you when you don't want it to you still deal with it.

Studying for an exam? Fuck you, party!

Got work at 6 Am? Fuck you, Party!

Having a fight with your LTR? Fuck you, Party!

Someone is always coming or going. If you don't have aligned schedules then your going to have to deal with the rest of the house.

If your goal is to have the penultimate college experience then go for it. If you want to finish your degree on time and get the grades you need to compete for the first job (only one which will care about this) then don't.

Be prepared to spend every sunday cleaning up after everyone. Your place is gonna get trashed a least once a month and almost no one sticks around to help. I had a shower door broken off the hinge, A fridge unplugged and everything rotting, having toilets upper decked, puke on every surface, holes punched in my walls, someone OD on coke and the police called a few times.

It was a great time but it was also a terrible time.
