Thanks I'll check it out.

Exactly, I was thinking $100. I also don't drink, so investing money into that seems a better ROI than $100 in any given weekend(s) at a bar.

Bruh, it comes and goes in waves. Reap the harvest while you can, and sow when the fields are empty.

My pics suck, I've been seriously considering hiring an amateur photographer off CL and paying them $X to take some good shots of me doing cool shit. I'm not on social media so I'm not constantly documenting my life, and while the benefits outweigh the negatives, I do not have many flattering pictures of me for dating apps.

I ask girls what they're listening to all the time, which contradicts the idea that headphones in = don't talk to me. Get talking about music, etc. Cut the conversation short on purpose, and go for the number. I remember reading in Day Game that asking about something indirect lowers their guard, which I get. I would never open on a girl by complimenting something about their looks, etc. Nonchalant, as if it were something I would say to an old person.

Fuck! I was trying not to laugh going through the comments.
/r/askTRP19/01/19 11:34 AM

I feel that. Most of what people commented has been helpful, and what I was looking for. As I figured out in replying, it's when my wires get crossed of me before I found TRP, and me after. When to "break the rules" and when to know them.

Cool let her.

Looking for input on when to reply rather than how many times. Appreciate the input though.

Hey, unhelpful but appreciate the input. See, I like many others here, were once nice guys. So my "natural" instinct is to just reply right away, or sooner rather than later. So in adopting TRP, I've relearned how to approach and treat women in a way that is healthy and attractive. But sometimes the wires of "do whatever I want" according to TRP and "old thinking" get crossed, so I come here for clarification.
/r/askTRP04/01/19 11:19 PM

Perfect. That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

I'm working on it. Mostly day game, so I only pick up a number a week or so. Generally I'll text/call to set up a date, and when/if it doesn't work out I'll put them off a week or two and reinitiate. But around texting frequency, as little as I try to text conversational with women, I had noticed this pattern coming up. I call more often than not, because I've found with texting setting up a date it usually takes 5-7 back and forth before anything is set up. Just with miscommunication/aligning s…

Yea, with this one I wasn't sure if finger paintings was a little too child like/painted a pedophilic image. But I agree, the age question always comes off to me as needing an honest answer. Even though when asked, it feels like a type of shit test. Poking the frame, maybe.

She asked me my age out of the blue.

Fuck, that's what I'm talking about. I'm thinking of taking it down until I get better pics, did you just take them all yourself? Did you lightly shop them at all, like filters? TRP in action right here.

Yup, there's been times where within a half hour I didn't get back, got busy, next thing I know it's 2am. Good to know there's nothing wrong with that window. I'm also a big fan of calling, did some phone sales for a while so I'm real comfortable on the phone. Thanks man.

Unless she hits you back up on social media, the most you should give her when you see her is a nod. Then continue to hit on her friends.

Forget this girl. Game other girls. What's stopping you from lifting? Injury, or logistics? Do push-ups in your room if you have to. Eat less food if injury, because you don't need the calories. Read the Book of Pook. Read about StrongLifts until you can start lifting. Oh and game other girls.
/r/askTRP21/09/18 05:45 PM

Thanks man. Of course, it's a standard inner game needing to catch up with outer game. A decade of being needy doesn't get fixed in a couple years. Rome wasn't built in a day!

Stoic doesn't mean quiet. You can be outgoing and showboaty while remaining stoic. In my mind, being stoic has more to do with frame (mindset) than behavior.

Was gonna make a post but reading around a bit, you seem like a good person to just ask. Does texting "I'd like to see you again" sound as gay as I think it does? I can't tell if it's direct in a good or bad way. Sure, context might help. I can provide or make a post if needed.
/r/askTRP21/09/18 05:05 PM

My good friend who is my age, and now married to his girl, been in the relationship for seven years. Always strong frame. The only time he has ever cried in front of his wife was when is step dad passed. I think you're alright man.
/r/askTRP05/09/18 09:27 PM

Naw man, you're in good company. Been on TRP for a while and pursuing women has more or less dropped like a rock. But now I have a clear understanding of the dynamic, so there's no/less regret around it. And I compare that to the hollow chasing I did in my BP days.

You'll be able to tell my the reactions you're getting, grow it out and find out.

Find one that you connect with and get under his wing. Be it something he does in his free time, how he holds himself in conversations, anything. Then find his thumbscrew, Law 33, which means find the thing about him that you can grab onto and become a part of. This way you can entertain getting closer, beyond the veneer of whatever get together you'll be at. Because to them, it's just another day.

I get pumped when I need a jolt. I'll sneak off and do some pistol squats or push ups until I hit that breaking point, and the brain shoots out some testosterone. I always know because I can feel that laser like focus take hold.

You've answered your own question. Time and place require mastery. But I've found that asking these questions about power, from the place you're at right now, is a lesson in futility. The times that I've experienced the lessons most fruitfully firsthand are when I was in the position of power already. The laws revolved around me, versus having to decide when and how to "use" them. Keep at it and they will show themselves to you, one day.

As I see it, comes down to options. Obviously having access to high quality women is a priority to us, so we should be designing our lives in a way that allows accessibility to that. We're not followers here. We carve paths. This is the point that "advice" runs into trouble, but we put ourselves first. For my case, this means leaving the safety of a stable job for the uncertainty of future advance. I plan on working part time to learn in my free time, which means sacrifice. All our options will …

I've often told myself, before TRP even, women can be too good looking for their own good. This is exactly what I meant.

It may not seem like it now, but you're walking the brave path men have to in the current state of the way things are. Get your lawyer involved and become more adamant in your resolve. This is Red Pill in its barest form.

Man, that does help. Really looking at it from the perspective of non-permanence, because trying to wrap my head around anything long term seems like a heavy weight to put on anyone. No meds, regular therapy. I present incredibly well, and live a reasonably functional life. There's only a couple rough edges I've got, sometimes my emotions don't parallel reality very well, and it can seem very alien to others. My therapist often mentions of the hundreds of cases he has had, mine is the most pecul…

Personally, I would think the simple attitude you've got towards these women is what's holding you back. They're just like everyone else, they just have a pretty face.

It sounds more you've not read much around here if you think Chad is only 5'10". It's a mindset, and you're missing that. Women don't want 5'10" if he's a total pushover, they want frame and direction. Anyone can attain that. Next girl you see that you want, approach. Simple as that.
/r/askTRP09/07/17 02:10 AM

Well you're here, so I believe it. But /u/asktrpretard is like the rest of the fellows new here, who have less understanding of healthy and reasonable masculine expression in life.

Women naturally compete. So do men, but we've been conditioned out of it.

Look for needs in the marketplace that require skills you're naturally inclined to pursue. Don't become a mechanic if you're good with people, and don't get into marketing if talking to you is equivalent to meeting a door knob.

I've been at my job for four years, and living on my own now for just under a year. Soon I'll be moving across town, within industry, to spread my wings as an adult. Sort of crazy to think about, but it's time I make the leap.
/r/TheRedPill30/06/17 06:53 PM

Keep at it man, good to hear. I know I take aspects of this life to the extreme as well, and doing that we'll have to find our way back eventually.

I've got schizoaffective and I turned that boat around well enough. Got a therapist, found some meds that worked, sorted life shit out, tapered off meds, found coping skills, continued to live life. To say yes, any mental illness is difficult. But anything can just as easily be a reason to hold yourself back. Life is better when you hold yourself accountable.
/r/askTRP27/06/17 05:17 AM

Most definitely. His need to feel victimized by his parents comes from the debt he is freeing himself of by living there. So to agree, by moving out he will be paying his way in life with money instead of emotional guilt.

That's exactly what it's meant for. Being blue pilled comes with the territory of being messing up, raised by a woman, etc.

You've said much, it's good that we're on our way as men. As far as standing up goes, let the tides roll. They'll ebb and flow as they do, and it'll be much simpler than someone "standing up."

Man, women can live in a blue pill ignorance just as easily as we did. So we must look past that as well while we carry on.

Decide what you want to do, and go with it. Either way you're going to learn you're style, IE what you like to do in this situation. Anything specific I tell you will be based on my game style, which is a very aloof mysterious style. So do something, anything, and find out if you enjoy that. I don't mind being overt, but I enjoy well played covert communication. I actually look forward to getting that for women. But I can also appreciate when women overtly communicate. Find your style and go wit…

Work now, socialize as needed. I socialize very little, am around your age, and looking back I'm glad I did as much as I did. The way I see it, more friends will be there in the future. I've got a couple I keep in touch with, but for now I'm on my path.

There's a "soup kitchen" type place in the city I'm able to spend a couple hours a week at. I live in a very liberal place so there's no shortage of social programs that need hands on deck. You might also look into homeless shelters, and I think some elementary schools have programs where you can work with kids.

If someone bumps into you, whatever. If they make a deal out of it, its obviously not your fault because you saw it coming and they weren't aware. It really doesn't bother you when people bump in to you, purposeful or not. If you're walking with your baby, you need to get out of their way because people don't always care about the space of others. Its your job to protect that kid, not theirs.

I read enough about the female psyche early on to eventually figure out asserting myself goes further than knowing all the "rules" on what to do. That being said, knowing their psyche sure does fill in the gaps.

Pretty far off social media, over a year at least. Girls don't know who I am, and they want to find out. Its in the eyes though, I give off a mysterious vibe anyways. From the chapter, which I encourage you to read. Authority: Princes and republics should content themselves with victory, for when they aim at more, they generally lose. The use of insulting language toward an enemy arises from the insolence of victory, or from the false hope of victory, which latter misleads men as often in their actions as in their words; for when this false hope takes possession of the mind, it makes men go beyond their mark, and causes them to sacrifice a certain good for an…

Hahaha, high level content as always. This is my journey I give to no one else, it was mentioned previously as a glitch in another post. Something I would like to discuss further, because it holds weight. I don't fuck women I'm into with the intent of long term. I'm into very few women, do NoFap, and generally kick ass all around at life. The most recent woman I was into, this mindset turned her upside down. I know it sounds hokey, but positive self talk in many forms will turn the tide. Not doing well enough in an area? Boom, you found somewhere you can learn to be humble. I listen to uber-positive music pretty much constantly, generally always doing something productive (even if that is relaxing with purpose), talking to other people and helping them, etc. Start working on the things you can make better, and give yourself slack in the areas you need improvement. It's actually better not to change …

I would consider it this way, especially considering the current amount of high value males that actually exist. Keeping n<10, even into a later age for a woman still provides value. She has chosen too not to commit herself to men of low value.

Honestly I just kept at it. And that sounds stupid out loud, but I can explain. It's a different mindset really, and it took time. I would say it took a year of regular, length increasing relapses before this last chunk of time. To say, at first I would go a day, relapse, then get comfortable with the idea of going a day. Then a couple days, relapse, then the idea of going a couple days seemed reasonable. Once I stopped again, I might make it to a week, then relapse. But now I know a week is pos…

Think of it this way, if the guy does whatever he wants, what bad will happen? Most likely nothing, so this guy doesn't give a fuck. I can't say what you should do, but you do have options. Landlord? Force him to leave for breaking the lease? These are all extreme measures that can be avoided with a more thorough expression of you not being cool what he's doing. What am I gonna do, call the cops on you? I've been where you're at, and it felt shitty enough to stick around here until things started to piece themselves together. It's a process. I can't say any one thing, I just kept absorbing info early on until I was able to connect my own dots. I think that's how it works. I started with Rollo Tomassi's Best Of Year One, The Rationale Male, Book of Pook. If I had to recommend one book though, No More Mr. Nice Guy was the first book I ever read. Takes two…

I mean, when someone is blatantly clueless yet agreeable, do I start pointing out why they might want to decline? Fuck no! Don't do their job for them. It's up to them to tell you no. Like with women, assume the sale. That being said, read the book. You're aware enough of the negative dynamic within that realm you're trying to avoid, so as long as you stay centered and true you can avoid that as best possible. But, read the book. If you sat down with it I bet you could read it in two hours, but …

Of course you'll hear from her again. She's codependent, and to a certain extent so are you (because you're even here asking these questions). But honestly, and this is my interpretation through the TRP lens, the emotions we feel when we have sex are supposed to inhibit the response you're feeling now. You thought she was worth it up until this point, for healthy or unhealthy reasons, and that is up to you to decipher through. I'm with you though, once I put a girl in the friend box they don't c…

Ha! My bottom was fucking awful, so I was ready to do anything. I got into recovery, specifically, 12 Step Programs, and that's been the framework for freedom I have. Getting off drugs and alcohol allowed me the space and time to look at my mental illness, which put me on meds for over a year. I worked through my shit during that time, and now I'm not on meds any more. Throughout that time I was reading TRP but unable to really apply it, because the meds were strong. Well, I can't commiserate 100%, but I have lost everything. It does not feel good. It shouldn't feel good. Why would you want it to? That fact that you feel like shit is your body naturally saying, "Do more things that make you feel good." So that's what I did. Took years, and here I am. Joyous, content, and free. After reading your entire post, I do not think you should get back together with this girl. You were incompatible on a level that ultimately led to it not working out, which is fine. It took you two years to notice that, instead of two months. Better to find out now, than in two decades. But that's the thing, now that you're seeing that you won't want to stop. That's the point! Learn where to make adjustments when needed, because no one can/should got HAM all the time, we need rest. Blue pill men will always be the cucks of the SMV There was a post on the front page of TRP yesterday about a millionaire beta who just got pimped out, and he never had sex with the girl. <Should I be able to trust that my wife is better than 90% of the women out there? No. Put in the work and trust she won't find anything like you out there. Use enough dread so she knows if she does, you're not gonna put up with the aftermath. And AWALT, there is no 90%.

I think there's always context that we'll miss, which is why it comes down to you. If you meant to do whatever you did in jest, hold that frame. If she comes at you shit testing, respond in kind. For whatever reason that was a comfort test, tell her she got a cute booty too. But like I said, context, so it's up to you to respond to her from your frame, dependent on how you can best guide her emotions. For instance, if what she said what a comfort test and you A&A'd, that would not create space f…

Think of it this way, if you don't break it off with her she will resent you more now that you're giving her time and attention without that same warmth from her. You don't have to break it off, but withdraw attention until it either clicks for her or you don't care anymore.

On TRP, every girl is an HB8. /s Honestly, I think the answer to that question should be found in your own results. Can you go out and have no hesitation talking to the best looking girl in the room? I can. If you, and OP, are doing the things we tell you to, then you should have no problem as well.
/r/askTRP31/01/17 12:44 PM

Follow that train of thought. You don't define alpha fulfillment as what you've written, but what is following your base needs? That is Alpha. Not women inherently, but life. Zest. Charisma. The means to attain. This is it to me, and you get to define it for yourself. But the path of definition is the trail you get to carve out of the wilderness that is life.

I've learned, through lifting and holding frame in general, it becomes less tiring and more reassuring to think I can rely on myself in that way. I don't have to rely on the emotions of others to dictate my current state, and that starts to feed off itself. Keep at it, and you will find it.

Right, my point being its entirely realistic to modulate your test through your actions. Test has a half life of 2-4 hours which means its fairly long lasting, unlike adrenaline with 2 minutes. When you're pumping yourself up for a big lift, the physical/mental shift you feel, the change in your eye focus, increased heart rate, is your body upping its release of testosterone into your bloodstream. Its possible to meditate into this, but that's what will be going into the post.

It's a shit test, so you A&A. She's saying, "Are you man enough for me to enjoy doing what you want?" "I'm looking for start a circus troupe, and I'm in need of a bearded lady. Can you grow a mustache?"

You do what you want to. Eye contact followed by a feeling of connection? Ask her name. Eye contact with a tough dude that lasts a bit? Drift your eyes away like you didn't notice it. Well, you've gotten plenty of great responses but I'll give you my take on it. HTWFAIP was written quite a while ago, before society became feminized so the message of the book is to soften up. You'll notice in many of the stories the character is irate and unable to come to a middle ground. This is a 180° from NMMNG. This book was written for its audience, a feminized male society whose lost its spine. So naturally, the suggestions are going to be more assertive. That doesn't mean one is better…

Basically have fun and hold frame, treat her as you would any plate. But through it you're scanning for red flags, almost passively. You're not gonna LTR her any time soon, at least not until she wants to. And even with that, you're frame not hers. If she wants to jump in one fast you figure out reasons why she would be so quick on it. Are you actually a catch, or is she just lonely? What I mean is, don't find them through conversation because words are pretty empty. Watch her actions, passively…

Well, here's some fitness info. Even if you've got a physical job, lifting is important because you can focus on certain muscle groups. When you're working, you're probably using the same muscles over and over, so they'll get strong while other ones don't. So deadlift, squat, but also press and pull. One thing I noticed when I had a physical job, it was easy to think "Man today I worked hard, so I don't need to lift." But, somehow, I wasn't in shape. Diet keeps the body fat % dialed in, lifting …

Shit, you're only a couple weeks into TRP? Welcome to the rest of your life. Once you swallow it you can't really go back, because things start to make sense whether you want them to or not. So it all comes down to when you want to start taking advantage of the system, versus being a victim of it. As far as friends go, the more you give the more you get. But through personal improvement you get an abundance with this, so you start to find those out there that also give, i.e. those who are actual…

You reach a turning point in not giving a fuck where you're able to give back to others without expectation of anything in return. This is opposite of blue pill behavior where you give to get. But when you're freshly red you wanna take things to the extreme, what you might be looking for is some mindfulness. I'm pretty present, which makes it easier to be social and crack jokes, etc. I get to have fun, and so do others around me. Look into Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now.

To piggy back, you've got great points. For the last paragraph, "explaining to her" is better done through your actions and soft dread. You lift and are healthy, it's expected that she is as well. Etc, etc.

Sounds like she's not interested. Forget her. You're over thinking the process though, girls that are into you should at the very minimum be receptive to meeting up. From there you want the focus on you, and somewhat brief so she's excited to seeing you again.
/r/askTRP12/11/16 03:23 AM

Right, so the whole point of whatever you say is to be in the same place as her, with it possible to transition to a secluded place. But this is all prefaced by her already being open to getting with you, you're just setting it up for it to "just happen" for her.

Crazily enough, I'm reading a Christian theology book right now that's talking about the general exodus that we live in. Called "post-christianity," they don't outright call it feminism but thoroughly describe the kettle. So people are waking up, and they're seeing between the lines, but outside of here and the manosphere they're missing the mark. Any progress good progress, and I'm alright with that.

You gotta refine your technique if you're running into these problems, whatever it was that happened. I couldn't really tell, but you don't need to black knight women in your social circle if that was it. That being said, separate the wheat from the chaff in your life. If you're great with people, you are young so create some abundance and find a new circle. There are great circles all over the place, go do the things you enjoy and meet the people there doing that.

While I agree that they provide nothing new to the arena, I think his strength is packing that information for a new audience that has never experienced discipline/motivation in a healthy way before. He does a fantastic job talking to feminine men and showing them the error of their ways.

You're right, I am. I'm starting Book of Pook for my third time around, and in it he says a certain "humility" is critical for growth. I've learned and applied quite a bit from TRP, but to say I have all the answers and that everything I need to know should come from within would be folly.
/r/askTRP30/08/16 05:15 AM

Well, I watched the documentary and I think that gives me a good starting off point. It seems his books are more about self-improvement/motivation, and my goals align with my actions in the discipline department. In the documentary he dives more into our actions, and subconscious motivations. I was hoping to hear his books leaned that way, but it doesn't seem like it. I'll still read the intros to a couple of his books and decide for myself, but I've never claimed to be a TRP guru. I'm young, an…

Hmm, I'll dip into it but I guess it wasn't what I was expecting. I'll still read the intro I've got though, but I'm definitely in no short supply of motivation/discipline.

GLO, you just gotta accept that the conditions in your life have shaped you that way and that you just need to be yourself. I've been to the sidebar once, just skim it and check back here when you feel you need validation. Remember to approach only the girls that show overt interest in you, wouldn't want to come off as a creep.

Dude cut this guy out of your life.
/r/askTRP17/07/16 07:53 PM

That's what I mean. By cutting him off you choose yourself over him, which is what you need to be learning how to do. Once you're away, he might see that what he's doing isn't conducive to having friendships, and change his actions.

Girls really only care about the insecurities you have that you point out about yourself. Anything can be owned. That being said, if it bothers you look into ways to clear it up, but remember that the self esteem you're looking for might not be found in clearer skin.

I'm on mobile, but there's a law of power that says not to be around those like the type you're talking about. Honestly, try cutting him off for a bit. Your life will get better, and he might see it as another sign to take care of whatever it's going on with him. Help people, but it's not your job to fix everyone.

This is called the anger stage, and you are not the only one to have gone through it. Pull up a search on it and you'll have more to read than you need. See that's the thing, you get to the point where this kind of behavior from women doesn't surprise you because it's to be expected. It's in their nature to be hypergamous, this is all part of swallowing the red pill. It only hurts you so much because the concept is so new to you. So stick around, read the top all time posts, and lift some heavy …

Dude thank you so much for the .mobi version. I read (past and present tense) The Book of Pook on my Kindle and it's horribly fragmented with no table of contents. Well, you're on the right track with the end there. Maybe you get her number, maybe you don't, but you want it so you're going after it. Personally, the best way would be to set up an activity you'll be doing and invite her to that. Unless you're in high school, you don't need to be "hiding" from everyone that you're talking to her and you're interested in her. If she comes to the activity and other people do as well, you're a grown ass man and can throw some kino at her.

I've had points in my life where I was into video games too much. My trick was to find things I enjoy that aren't video games, and get sucked into those things. Nowadays I bike, volunteer, play guitar, things I enjoy just as much but happen to benefit my life and others more.

See, you're going about it all wrong. You're so close though! Currently you're telling yourself, "I have nothing to lose so I might as well [insert beta action]." So you've lost some need for validation for your actions, but the actions themselves aren't consistent with what a true alpha would do. And women can tell, because they're crafty. Except you're contradicting yourself, which also happens to be exactly what OP is asking for. He wants to find ways to make male friends, and an easy way to do that is to do traditionally male activities.
/r/askTRP19/06/16 03:10 AM

Haha, bro you gotta amog back. He says you've got small hands? Good thing because his sister's snatch is really tight. But as far as new groups go, do masculine activities. This is where you will find the men you want to be around.

Gotcha. That makes sense to me. I think the distinction you're making is what's important, it didn't work when I was blue pill singing blue pill music because it was disingenuous. Now I can see the forest, so I won't get lost when I'm wandering through it.
/r/askTRP18/06/16 06:21 PM

Yea, I sing as well. That took a while to get down, so I give a ton of credit to those who can play and sing. What you're saying makes sense, I would say lyrics don't matter, as much as the emotion you're evoking out of your crowd.
/r/askTRP18/06/16 06:19 PM

I replied to another guy, but I do believe many blue pill artists who have made it (because it does sell) buy into their own hype, and not that they're crazy rich or popular, to perpetuate the whole "See! Blue pill does work!" mentality.
/r/askTRP18/06/16 06:10 PM
1

I believe you, I've often thought even blue pill artists do well with the ladies solely because what they're doing sells. So people buy into the hype, they're still blue pill, but they've got the ladies to "affirm" that what they're doing works. Do you have anything up of your red stuff? I'm interested to hear it.

Ha! Perfect, actually. I've got this one down, as well as a couple other hip hop styled songs. I'll look that first one as well, I'd heard it before. Thanks for your encouragement. I've got the last three girls now I've waited three days to contact. Two phone calls and a text, and I haven't heard back from any of them. Don't think I will. I've chalked it up to not high enough SMV/didn't build enough attraction, but three days feels awful long for first contact. What do you think? I can give more context if needed, I am a little unsure of myself.

Dog, you gotta slow down. You are playing this on her terms, when you've already downgraded her. First off stop texting her. You don't have to negotiate with her.

That's just it, they can't see the forest for the trees. They see "equality" with men through sexual liberation, but that's exactly what undermines their value. On top of that, they've rewritten the script for men (see blue pill culture) to love and adore this.

Or you could start now, whatever you like.

Fuck man, I get the disapproval. I do. I'm not going to comment on the morality of it, but try to look at it with a red filter. Men are the leaders. We hold ourselves to a very high standard, so it is only natural to expect others to live to that same standard as well. But we can't do that, we have to lead by example and guide our women. When they stray within reason, you course correct them. You wouldn't boot a child out of your house for doing something wrong, you simply correct their behaviour.
/r/askTRP04/06/16 08:45 AM

You're rationalizing why you can't, you should start framing it how you can. Do you lift? Start doing that. Eat right. Don't party on week days. Be more social so it's not weird flirting/talking with girls.

Haters gonna hate. I mean honestly, if outperforming is gonna put you on a shit list with no benefits (chance of raise, better leads, etc.) then they're actively encouraging you not to perform well. How many of your managers worked their way up the company? If many, do what they did. If few, earn enough to get an education so you can do what you really want to do. I club solo and I've never had a problem. Apparently it takes guts, but when you leave there's the chance you'll never see anyone you know ever again so you can do whatever you want. Because it's harder to find friends like that after college.

What I mean is, when chicks throw out questions like this randomly (because you're not having conversations over text, remember?) you can just not respond. You don't have to reply to everything someone says to you. So go live your life, let her live her life, and when she gets in town meet up. If you met her once a month ago and wowed her socks off, she'll want to hangout again when she gets in town. You shouldn't have to be keeping up conversation to keep her interested in the mean time.
/r/askTRP07/05/16 08:28 PM

It's a shit test, so you A&A. But you're texting her, so you don't even need to reply. Don't be witty in text, texting is for logistics. That being said, tell her you'll pick her up from her retirement home for drinks tonight. Always Be Closing.

As per your last sentence, unsupported is not the right way to put it. Scientifically, there may not be concrete evidence but as I, and most all others have found, when the things here are applied you get direct results. Cut and dry, cause and effect. If you've not experienced this I recommend getting out there and trying some of what we say here for yourself.

Think shit test and plain old question. A shit test is her seeing if you're actually a high value male. A plain old question is when someone asks you a normal question. A shit test can be genuine interest, but she wants to know if you're bluffing.

When you reply like this, if she responds with a shit test you A&A. If it doesn't sound like a shit test, then be direct with her. Again, watch out for oneitis. That's what it sounds like to me, from what I can tell.

From the post it didn't sound like you're already dating her. You can A&A, but upfront honesty goes a pretty long way as well. If it doesn't come out of her in the form of a shit test, you're fine to say it like it is. I'm not (I'm thinking you didn't mean to type not) looking to plate this girl, date and maybe lead into a red pill style relationship. Honestly, it sounds like some oneitis, but I would need to get some more context. Again, it all comes down to personal style. I'm not much of a te…

On my own journey from addiction, I did the simplest thing and started going to meetings. First it was NA for a while, after a couple years of that I moved on to AA. I don't care what reservations you have against that place, all I can tell you is that it has worked in my life and man…

I think it can swing pretty far either way when you say twenties. Because of the natural curve of men's SMV, that being peaking in the early thirties, the twenties are a slow uphill climb.

Texting only for logistics is meant to be a trope fed to beginners. Same with AWALT, because while AWALT is a spectrum, if you announce it as such every oneitis beta bux is gonna say, "My girl is a unicorn then."

Pretty much. Two weeks ago I was wrecked from commuting on the bicycle, so I took the weekend off of from riding and rested pretty hard (minus lifting). I felt like a bat outta hell Monday.

Some people learn at different rates. Personally, I had to be on some serious medication for a couple years that made it actually impossible to retain information. I learned how to grow in different ways. I want you to do something for me, and really, for yourself. I'm going to give you a list of seven aspects of life, and I want you to write a couple sentences of where you were six months ago with them, and where you are now. If there hasn't been a change in many, or any of them, in a positive …

This is what I thought. I'm 23, and this kid sounds younger than me. I certainly don't expect to be drowning in pussy at this age, but I know there are those that do.

Your friend reminds me of the guy talked about in Sex God Method who had high dominance/creativity but low emotion. Emotion is an important part of sex, even if it is just with plates. Seriously, if you can pull this many plates, you can find plates you can have an emotional investment iin

Last week I met a cute girl that does Olympic lifting. Before telling her I thought it was cool she did that, I talked casually about it (showing that I know quite a bit about Olympic lifting). Only after showing my high value on this subject, do I compliment her interest in it. This shows that I am the prize. I saw her again last night and it was all IOIs. Corollary, don't compliment a girl on her hair or something banal like that. It only shows that you're not used to being around beauty. If a…

This theory isn't just "something people came up with." These books are the result of (sometimes) decades of men bringing their ideas together and shaping them. This theory is the framework for how to live in an RP manner. Theory is applied because life is too complex and multifaceted to address every single grievance. No More Mr. Nice Guy taught me that I don't stand up for myself enough. Models showed my why standing up for myself is attractive. How to Win Friends and Influence People taught m…

https://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/26a8r8/my_compilation_of_core_redpill_books_read_now/ I've been going through this since I got to TRP, and I've read about 70% of them, along with a few others that aren't on the list. I'm currently reading through three of them now: The Rationale Male, The Millionaire Fastlane, and Starting Strength. For pickup specifically, the Book of Pook and Models have taught me most of what I know. These books are 65% about changing yourself, and 35% about thin…

Fuck being called a shill, the exact reason Models is in the sidebar is because this question gets asked so often. I'm amazed your reply is so far down, because Models is the most clear and direct place I learned how to grow through this.

Start the date off with a hug. If she says something you like, reach out and touch her arm. The progression is arms, legs and back, neck. Make sure to do it like it's an afterthought, this way you will display confidence.

What I've heard about compliments, is to give them when they're a reflection of you. This way she sees it not as a praise to her but rather your decision to pick her. This keeps you the prize.

For that it goes back to, do women really understand the subtext of what they're saying? Women don't know what they want, let alone how to express it.

I think what you do is a great practice, in fact because of your post I'm going to be getting back into regular meditation tonight. I mean, I use the focused attention I have while meditating to think directly at the problem because I have no distractions. I'm able to keep a clear rational mind. But I keep these meditations short, because otherwise it is easy to think through/about problem after problem. When I sit down to do this I have one or two things on my mind, and when I am done with that…

Like the other guy, I've always done it in a body conscious way. I listen to my breathing, feel my heart beat, feel blood flowing through my body, etc. I think it's a far out way to meditate but that's how it has always come naturally to me. Aside from that, I will also meditate the complete opposite way. I will let any thoughts enter my head that do, and think through them in the most straightforward way. I direct my full attention to them, and solve them as best I can. I tend to do these medit…

No, not yet. I'm at whatever section is after Unplugging. So far everything I've read is an encapsulation of the basics I already know. Makes sense, though. I think the traditional answer here is to have plates lined up before and after, so abundance mentality is the frame you're in. Personally though, plates aren't for me, but I'm also not pursuing anything with anyone currently. So I'm still deciding where to draw the line for myself in all that.

Having mental illness, I think this is a fair assessment of it. I've been through some shit, but I took the steps necessary to work through it. I know others who are more damaged, i.e. weaker, that are unable to take those steps.

Fortunately this post is directed towards the men on here making a direction for their lives, and not endlessly victimizing themselves. You are very correct though, I think "anxiety" is thrown around way too often. Can't talk to girls? Maybe I need meds to fix my "anxiety." Grow a pair.

It just makes things easier. When you go after girls, they let more things fall by the wayside. They let more shit slide. Don't pigeon hole your thinking into these situations, get out and experience more. Being naturally attractive only means that your pool to select from is wider.

If she will think something is up when you talk to her in real life, she will think something is up when you hit her up on Facebook. If she wants something, she'll go along with it. But on a very serious note, forget about her. Posting on /r/suicidewatch means that you shouldn't be giving a shit about women right now, but taking very clear and direct steps to recover your mental health.

This is literally why I deleted mine last week. I went through a month of notifications and realized I only cared about one of them, and that was the x number of posts I got for my birthday. Of those, 90% were from people I couldn't care less if I heard from. So far my life feels much simpler. I can devote my time to the tasks I need with less distraction.
