I’ve seen it on this blog and blogs by other guys who employ game.  Some drive by woman comes along and states unequivocally that good women aren’t attracted to guys who date lots of women.  I don’t expect to resolve this issue, but from my experience they are wrong.  I am going to relate three stories about good women (and I mean that they were and are all morally upstanding, long married, and faithful women) from two and three generations ago that were in fact attracted to guys who were in demand by other women.

The first takes place during the great depression around 1932.  The man in question had lettered in football, basketball, and baseball all four years of his high school career and happened to also have been on several state championship teams.  He had athletic scholarships to several schools, but turned them all down to get a job and support his widowed mother and his sisters.  He happened to hold several jobs including the high school janitor job.  All the girls at the school had their eye on this man and wanted to ‘catch’ him if they could.  He set his eyes on one particular girl who was new to the school.  She didn’t think much of him, but agreed to go on a date with him.  On the night of the date, he stood her up and went on a date with another gal.  After that, the jilted woman set her sights on him with the intent of making him her man.  She succeeded and they were married a handful of months later.  Remember, pre-marital sex was an extreme no-no back then.  Kids tended to get married rather quickly rather than wait.

The second story takes place a few years before the first one.  It’s a bit shorter as I don’t have a lot of details.  Suffice to say, the man in question happened to be dating a gal and it looked pretty serious.  The man’s future wife thought he was very attractive, but didn’t like the fact that he wasn’t actually dating her.  She set out with the intent that he should be her’s.  She succeeded.  They were married 60 plus years when he passed.

The third story takes place in the early sixties.  The man in question along with his fraternity brothers stopped by the freshman dorm and invited several women over to a dance at their fraternity house.  The man in question set his sights on one particular 18 year old, but he wasn’t some choad who’d go up and play 20 questions with the girl.  No, he understood women better than that.  He proceeded to dance with all the other girls but the one he’d set his sights on.  This made her extremely jealous.  This made her want this man all the more.  She put herself in his path to make it easier for him to ask her to dance.  What did this man do?  Venue change.  He sidestepped the gal, looked back over his shoulder at her and said, ‘come with me.’  Immediate compliance.  She followed.  They’ve been married almost 50 years now.

It doesn’t matter if your target is a good woman or a bad girl.  The principles of game work.  Some critics of game want to say that high quality women aren’t attracted to cads and assholes.  This is mostly wrong.  As Roissy once pointed out, asshole game should be calibrated to the target.  The better looking a gal is the more she’s heard the same old bullshit line and ass kissing from every AFC.  The better looking a gal is the more she will need asshole game (assuming she’s not that rare breed of girl who actually doesn’t know how beautiful she is).  We can spend all day discussing why the principles of game work and whatever theory we want to say applies, but ultimately, it doesn’t matter.
