I put out a call for support right before Christmas, and thankfully received enough to stay above water. However, I need to remind readers again now that the new year has begun. First, thanks for the support that’s come in so far. It was crucial to paying recent bills, but I’m still going to be short for the quarter without more.
I’d like to continue writing and posting daily, and keeping the site running at a steady clip, but it needs some revenue to justify the time I put into it, and given the non-PC subject matter ad revenue is never going to be all that impressive, despite a healthy number of pageviews and monthly visitors. I really enjoy writing and providing content for readers, so I’ll do everything I can to keep the site running, but I will need your support.
Some readers have asked for a subscription plan where they could support the site on an ongoing basis, so I’ve set up a page for that with a few options. In the meanwhile I’ll post reminders every now and then until I’m in the clear for the quarter.
All donations are helpful and much appreciated. Although a few substantial ones have been crucial, the site would be very healthy if every frequent reader put in the equivalent of a Starbucks latté per month.
