I don’t usually pay much attention to the celebrity gossip, but this one just made me chuckle a little bit. Evidently Prince William has chosen not to wear a wedding ring as part of his daily attire. Dr. Helen equates it to a woman choosing not to take her husband’s last name. I look at it from a different point of view and think that it’s an alpha move – and probably a wise one in his case (though not as wise as a prenup would be). We like to whine about Spoiled American Princesses but as soon as the priest says “man and wife” William is going to have to contend with an honest to god princess in an age where she might actually allowed to divorce him. Better to err on the side of being too alpha right from the beginning.
This bit that Dr. Helen quoted from a BBC show killed me, though:
“Who does he think he is?”
The prince of fucking England is who he thinks he is.
