First a little article on beards and what they communicate to women.
A short beard, or scruffy look is more masculine and women tend to prefer that look, which is why hollywood has dexter with stubble and why action heroes from Indiana Jones on up are slightly unshaven.
From an evo psych perspective a short beard conveys your sexuality, while the fresh-faced look signals that you’re still a boy. Full beards aren’t a great idea either though.
As an added bonus, you stand out for very few men have beards in our society, except for the pick up artists, and the occasional douche (that may or may not be interchangeable with the PUA).
Next, a brief comment on men’s underwear.
Women read all sorts of crap into what kind of underwear you wear.
Briefs (all kinds) conveying that you’re uptight and childish, boxers conveying your relaxed and carefree, to boxer briefs signaling that you are the type of guy that makes commitments and compromises. I kid you not.
This explains why most women are fortune tellers and get into all that tarot, palm reading and other chick crack. They honestly believe that they can read all sorts of nuance into everything in the universe.
It’s like a low-level “Its a beautiful mind” where they see patterns everywhere.
Which if you’re a guy, can lead to all sorts of fun, if you understand this. You can be ambiguous as all get out and they will read into it, or you can make games out of “reading people” with her, or talk to her and try to convey something without directly stating it.
The reason women get into all those routines about what forest they are walking through, and strawberries they are eating is that they do this stuff all they time. Look at a Cosmo magazine and you’ll see it is filled with stuff like that, and quizzes about what type of woman they are, or what type of flavor coffee they are, or if they were to hook up with a hollywood actor, which one would be their perfect fit.
