While writing a post, I got a blue underlined word. Never seen the blue before.
It was for the term “ladies.”
When I clicked on it, it said that I was using “bias” language that might offend someone or turn them off and I should use the more respectful term “women”.
WordPress still doesn’t get it.
Women is biased too, it should have said double plus good gender (as opposed to the current term for men which is double plus ungood gender.)
Hopefully the thought police will get it right.
(Update: I tried several words: whore, gal, slut, girlie, girl, bitch, Ho and the word women hate: cunt and none of those come up as a “bias” word. Nor do most racial epithets. So I wonder who at wordpress has a burr about ladies? Its fair enough, since there don’t appear to be any in our society)
