I just heard from the woman that I dated here in an email. She ended up marrying a guy that when they had last broken up she had sold all her worldly possessions so they could buy a boat (in his name) and sail the world. At some point the guy cheated on her. Devastated and impoverished she returned to my home town and ran into me.
Let me make sure that what I wrote was clear. She meets guy, she sells all her stuff and gives him the money and they run off. She catches him cheating. His answer was standard alpha, “I love you, but I need more than you can give.” She leaves.
She dates a few throw away guys (myself included) and then she goes back and marries the guy that cheats and impoverished her. And she says that “God answered her prayers.”
I think she expected me to say something negative, to question her judgment. Why should I do that? I already know how she thinks. I already know that she isn’t rational, or that she doesn’t even understand her own motivations. All I am is amused.
She proves, yet again, my philosophy in life and the nature of women.
I get in arguments with my parental units about things like this all the time. It frustrates them that my life is replete with the evidence of the damage the boomers (or as I like to call them, the locust generation) have done to society and the nature of women.
They do not want to believe it. Yet I enjoy pointing it out to them. They think I live in a “messed up world” and need to be normal to which I tell them I am the “new normal” for my gender.
I am a cheerful sadist. I get the joke of life and it is a cruel jest.
A couple points:
- Use women the way they use men. They will love you for it. They will want to marry you. They will gladly impoverish themselves for a man they love. They will gladly impoverish a man they don’t love. This is the equation that goes through their head. Love = Money. If you love them more, they will want money, if they love you more they will give you money.
- They love cheaters. It may break their heart, but they want their heart to be broken. If you break their heart, it merely shows the power you have over them. Their pain is proof of their great love. If they didn’t love you, it wouldn’t hurt so much. Again Love = Pain. If you are not causing them anguish, then they will cause you anguish to see how much you love them.
Now for the second irony. My previous place of employment that made it clear they didn’t want me around has already contacted me and wants to hire me to consult for them. I will probably make more money off them than I did in their employ.
Who says the American entrepreneurial spirit is dead?
Ha ha ha ha.
