I was gonna save this till Monday, but what heck, OneSTDV’s sheer assholish ways have prompted me to act, so here we go…
You all know him: the socalled arbiter of all that’s right, good and correct for America, an America that is beset, no wait, besieged, by “NAMs” (a cowardly way of saying Black and Brown folks) and their White Liberal enablers. Like the bulk and mass of “HBDers”, he is of the view that not only do the various races of the world differ along genetic lines, but that these differences extend to the cognitive realm as well-and that basically, those of Black and Brown descent have come up losers in the IQ lottery. Of course, Whites and East Asians are the big winners, and, in OneSTDV’s world (btw, the term, “OneSTDV”, refers the supposed one standard deviation difference between Blacks and Whites on standardized IQ tests), the Cognitive Elite should not only rule, but they should be given pretty much due deference when it comes to making public policy, among a great many other things. Of course, things like Affirmative Action and the like should come to a swift end, and high-IQ guys (supposedly; OneSTDV has never released HIS IQ or SAT scores) like him should be given first digs on pretty much everything worth having in America, if not the world.
Personally, I find his blog an interesting exercise in Sour Grapin’ in basically Hatin’ on all things in this world. I like messing with him though, because one, I can, and two, becaue I like the idea that my very existence flies in the face of everything he says on his blog about Black folks.
So, from time to time, I’m gonna pick a post of his to skewer, like I’m about to do right now. The following was a recent post OneSTDV put up over at his blog; my personal comments will be interspersed throughout the post:
“Woman Demands All-White Nursing Staff: Hospital Quarantined due to bad case of Racism
It’s commonly known that white Christians are forbidden to freely associate with each other; yet, the same luxury is actually encouraged amongst minorities. For example, Walter Williams describes some absurdities occurring at elite universities:
OBS: Hold up-aren’t you an avowed ATHEIST, OneSTDV? If that’s true, how do you now advocate for Christians? Do you do so purely because they’re WHITE? Also, nice move of getting a Black Conservative in Walter Williams to do your dirty work for ya. Let’s address his comments:
(Quoting Williams): What about segregated graduation ceremonies? Vanderbilt, Stanford University, the University of California, the University of Michigan and the University of Pennsylvania are among those that offer separate graduation ceremonies and separate “celebratory events” for black, Hispanic and Asian-American students. University administrators not only condone segregated ceremonies but racially segregated student housing, as well. This “enlightened” policy not only occurs at backwater colleges but at our most elite universities, such as Stanford, Cornell, MIT, Pennsylvania and California-Berkeley. And here’s a site for a counseling service specifically designed for blacks.
OBS: Personally, my view is that so long as the institution is receiving public taxpayer monies, things of the sort above cannot be allowed, UNLESS said groups are willing to fund it themselves. I personally have no problem with private schools like, for example, Bob Jones University, which fostered a rule about interracial dating and the like being prohibited; if people are cool with that, they should be able to send their kids there. It’s a private school, have at it.
(Back to OneSTDV): At Afro-American Counseling & Psychotherapy Institute, Inc., the Counselor/ Psychotherapist is a product of and continues to be a part of the African-American cultures and communities. The Afro-centric, Afro-Cognitive approach used at AACPI empowers the client by providing a unique corrective experience that is liberating, relevant, and solution-oriented. Well at least they’re HBDers (“Afro-cognitive” must refer to innate cognitive traits unique to blacks, right?). There are innumerable outlets for the “unique needs” of minorities.
OBS: Yup, and do you know why, OneSTDV? BECAUSE BLACK COULDN’T GET HELP MEDICALLY IN THIS COUNTRY FOR DECADES, THAT’S WHY. And, if you and other concerned maligned White Guy Americans wanna put something together to help maligned White Guys, there’s nothing stopping you-I just told you about Bob Jones University-and he’s not alone, there’s Oral Roberts’ U, Brigham Young U, you name it, it can be done. Since you have all this brainpower, endowed by God, Mother Nature, Raw Evolution, whatever you wanna call it, why ain’t you actually DOING something all the inequities you see wrt maligned White Guys, instead of basically doing the very thing you despise in “NAMs”-which is bitching and moaning? If you wanna really impress me, One, you’d put al that vaunted brainpower to use, get off your ass and actually build something befitting your high IQ stature. Chop chop!
(Back to One): In any context, they have access to care provided by individuals of their ethnic background and suited to their particular needs (what those are I’m not sure). But in addition to the gross immorality of white flight, how dare white people ask for the same thing? Someone did and it didn’t turn out well . In fact, they launched an investigation into her blatant thoughtcrime!
OBS: Wait, there are Black folk actually bemoaning the loss of Whites in their hoods? That’s news to me, since I actually live among Black folks ALL THE FREAKIN’ TIME…
(Back to One): Hospital staff have complained to the Equality and Human Rights Commission after a woman in labour demanded an all-white team to deliver her baby.
The hospital began its own internal investigation and it has now been reported to Equality and Human Rights Commission, which received complaints from hospital staff about the incident and how it was dealt with. In this age of affirmative action, such a choice might be the most prudent one. But don’t worry, the thoughtpolice are on it.
A spokeswoman for the hospital said: “There is an ongoing investigation, which commenced after the incident occurred, relating to medical complications and because some staff expressed concern about the potential for racial discrimination, should such demands be raised by patients in the future. In my opinion, this women is free to choose her caregivers and if she does so on a racial basis, then so be it. Such a choice doesn’t necessarily imply animus, rather it implies a freedom of association. People tend to feel most comfortable with individuals like themselves and the first indicator of such similarity is generally physical. Perhaps this woman is a racist, but if we’re willing to afford such concessions to minorities, then why aren’t white people given the same outlets? Why is whiteness considered an absence of culture and thus not privy to the same ethnic concerns or issues?”
OBS: OK, correct me if I’m wrong, but if this incident took place in the UK, then said White lady is really screwed, because not only is the entire healthcare system there entirely taxpayer funded, but most of the medical specialists aren’t White either…sounds like she needs to take that up with the House of Commons or 10 Downing Street, or something like that.
Personally, again, I think that so long as you’re willing to foot the whole bill on your dime, you have the right to request any staff you want. So my question is-did this lady do that, or is she on the public’s dime here? If the former, good on her, if the latter, too bad.
As for why White folks “can’t” do what Black folk do, that’s easy-BECAUSE WHITE FOLK HAVE AND CONTINUE TO RUN VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING OF ANY CONSEQUENCE. Your problem ain’t with “NAMs”, OneSTDV, its with White folks who basically disagree with you, AND are in a position to make you life a living Hell if you even fix your mouth to act like you have a problem with that. If you had any balls (higher IQ and lower testosterone have indeed been linked, please don’t try to argue me down about this, go see your boy Rushton, etc.), you’d actually (1), go confront those who can make changes in public policy and (2), actually get together of like mind and build the institutions you claim America needs in order to be set right again. But of course, when’s the last time an egghead actually led movement, built a building or changed public policy? To ask the question is to answer it.
But, fear not, OneSTDV, because, I actually like ya. And it’s because I like ya so much, that I’m gonna be around to offer that much needed corrective to the many wrongheaded ideas that come spewing forth from that thing you call a brain. Yea, its a dirty, thankless job. But somebody’s gotta do it.
