A police report from New Zealand reveals that most children who are killed by adults are victims of their mothers, most commonly by blows to the head or strangling:

Nearly 50 per cent of children who die as a result of family violence are killed by their mothers, a police report says.

Police today released a report summarising the findings of 95 family violence death reviews involving 101 victims between 2004 and 2011.

The report, which did not include all deaths that occurred during that period, found 15 out of 33 child victims were killed by their mums.

Five newborn babies were killed by women who concealed their pregnancies, while six children were killed by their mothers prior to them committing suicide.

The most common cause of death was head trauma. Suffocation or drowning by the mother was also on the list.

Although those of us paying attention have known this for some time, it’s remarkable to see this issue openly discussed in news outlets, especially in a “progressive” country such as New Zealand.

What we should take away from this isn’t that mothers are bad and a bunch of killers – because obviously most of them are not – but rather that domestic violence is not the simple issue of “bad men” wreaking havoc on homes.

Feminists like to portray violence and murder as a result of “the patriarchy,” but it’s likely that some of these children would be alive today if their fathers had been present. Unfortunately, the premise is that men must ejected from children’s lives merely at the mother’s whim, even if the men might actually be able to protect their children from harm.

There are violent men out there, but from the data we have it doesn’t appear that men are any more likely to kill their biological children than women. In fact, what we do know suggests the opposite.

This calls into question the idea that removing fathers from children’s lives is “in the best interests of the child.” It is starting to become apparent that neither feminists nor governments are really concerned about the best interests of the child, but merely use this phrase as a cover for a big lie. Namely, that they actually care about families and children. Feminists care about neither. Primarily, they are concerned with the right to prevent or exterminate children. Secondly, they are interested in resource-extraction from men.

Hopefully, New Zealand authorities are truly interested in harm reduction, and put measures in place that will actually protect children rather than serve the interests of gender feminists, who could care less about the welfare of children.

It’s time society began to recognize that men’s rights and children’s rights are inseparable, and not in conflict at all.
