After controlling for the offense level, criminal history, district, and offense type, men receive a prison sentence that is, on average, 12% longer than women accused of the same crime.

Source, and that study found that the gap between white people and black people is also 12%. Looks like black people have just as much privilege as men do!

And for another side of things, crimes against men receive lighter sentences than crimes against women. "Among vehicular homicides, drivers who kill women get 56 percent longer sentences. Drivers who kill blacks get 53 percent shorter sentences."source. The fact that they looked at vehicular homicides is relevant because it automatically rules out things like self defense. This is purely a result of society thinking that a woman's life is worth more than a man's, and that a white person's life is worth more than a black person's.
