My ex-wife is "home-schooling" my children, but she's doing a horrible job of it (despite my spending tons of cash on home materials that go completely unused such as math books, science kits, etc.). I'm an academic and I feel as though she's destroying my children's future. I asked my 11 year old the most simplistic questions that she should know and she gets them wrong (e.g., a Can a pregnant woman determine her baby's gender via wishful thinking; where is the liver in the body). I'm tormented as I can't take custody of them. Can I force her to put them back into public school? It's getting so bad that I actually don't want to talk to my children because it's a reminder that their potential is being blatantly wasted.
