Good idea I guess but "Abandon" is a pretty harsh and bias word here.. gonna set this person straight a bit but it struck me as odd that they couldn't think of another scenario where a child might have been pried from Dad by Mom with assistance from the tilted laws of custody

An actual pool of money, paid in to by both parents, with withdrawals tracked, is a good idea. But reading the proposal, I think it would devolve down into just an additional amount paid by the father, over which he has no control - business as usual, only worse.

I can't really get behind this post. The post wording is very gender neutral. yes, the laws might be biased against men, but this is a side point. The post also doesn't strongly imply that men that are kicked out, or taken by the courts should be affected by this rule.
