Everything indicates the father was notified, provided a response and had attorney representation during modification hearings.

mother has also given her side of the story to the public indicating that Mr. Hall was present for all hearings including modifications.

There's a dude here on Reddit who seems to work in the legal profession in Houston. I assume he has an account with Harris County Court because he has been going online and he can see more details of the documents.

The fathers failure to pay child support was ongoing. Mother filed for contempt of failing to pay child support in April 2013. he was found guilty of this contempt in November 2013. Some months nothing was deducted from his paychecks. If an employer is not making correct deductions, it is up to father to make corrections.

Although the father paid up just before the November court date, he still did not pay on time and only paid with the threat of legal punishment. So he was in contempt of his order to pay every month.

Visitation complaints stem from the father taking the child out of school for a supposed doctor appointment, but there was no doctor appointment and no communication with the mother. Mother did not know where the child was. Father also kept the child past his time and the child missed football practices and football games. Father did not return the child to mother on Christmas day.

Of course walking out of the courtroom during the trial did not help him.

I'm really tired of seeing this be misrepresented just because it 'appears' to line up with our cause...

Reading comprehension is a lovely thing, can we all agree to start using it?

This man went to jail for Contempt of Court and nothing else. Child Support had nothing to do with his sentence and attempting to paint it as such, just makes it seem like we have nothing valid to stand on, which is FAR from the case.
