I’m 29, I work in the automotive industry, I’m doing okay financially. There’s a lot of areas I think I’ve addressed in my life to give myself above average odds with women and success in general.

But here is my struggle. Ever since I was a kid I’ve been more emotional than any male needs to be. I’m intelligent and fairly logical, but the capacity to control thoughts and have feelings not effect my ability to make objective decisions has always been limited.

I’ve always struggled with depression and I let sadness guide my life. I hit this wall when I got walked over by a woman and after that point I tried to iron-will my need to gain control of the emotional facets that allow me to lose frame so easily.

Rather than sadness I chose anger because at least I was able to assert control and not be a moping pussy. But it all stems from the same shit. Even when I lift I hit a wall after three months and spiral out. It’s a bitch mentality and I’m tired of letting myself be defeated. But the emotions can be so overwhelming. Sheer will doesn’t seem to be enough and I’ve tried to follow TRP as consistently as possible.

Any recommendations?
