This is pretty horrible. How can any modern nation, such as Shanghai, not have gender neutral sexual assault and rape laws? If it didn't link to a news source I would have a hard time believing it (still kinda do). I feel for this guy. Hell, I feel for anyone who's raped. It's a life changing, horrible experience. I hope he at least finds some counseling. This kind of thing can tear a person apart.

One can only hope he gets help; that and trying to get the laws changed. Maybe with enough bad press and some activism in Shanghai they can get some laws on the books to protect everyone who suffers from these types of assaults. At least then some little good might come from it.

First off I'm an SRSers and all that. I looked on the side bar and there seems to be no rule about me posting a comment so:

Can I ask a weird question?

Why don't you guys show up when people in the main stream subreddits trivialize male on male rape?

There like twice as many people on this sub as on SRS, but why is it always an SRSer calling out people who say "I hope he gets raped in prison"

And it's not cause you guys aren't in main stream subreddits cause whenever someone says "men commit rape" there are always people from here saying "people commit rape"

Dunno just curious.

No laws have been made cause rape laws have only focused on FEMALE rape rather then MALE rape. Alot of countries need to make rape laws gender neutral.
