I have just started at University of Washington's Seattle campus and I have been shocked at how brazen the anti-male bias on campus is. There are so many programs for women but none for men! There are posters in almost all of the bathrooms about DV with women always portrayed the victim. The girls in my classes are all over the TAs, who are mostly men as I am a science major, and you can see how they get extra attention and help whereas I do not because I was unlucky enough to be born with a penis.
I am posting this on a throwaway (for now) because my girlfriend knows my reddit handle and has some feminist leanings (I am trying to change her, though). I would like to know if any one here is at Udub Seattle or maybe some of the community colleges in Seattle - maybe we could organize a postering campaign through this reddit? I am even open to starting a men's rights club at Udub Seattle or helping a men's rights club get off the ground in a local community college.
