I turn sixteen next year and am going to get a job to get my mom something to defend herself. She has has arthritis since the age of fourteen and is vulnerable to anyone that means her harm. She has never been mugged and i plan it to stay that way. So i have been in the market for something for her to use, but every video has a woman using the product. Let me make it clear that this is 50% discriminantve towards men and 50% sexist towards women. To think that a woman in fir condition will always need something to defend herself is black and white. I have a female friend who is admittedly more 'manly' than me. She could kick any muggers ass any day. Also it implys that men do not require one to be formative in a standoff situation. I also came across this site that sell stun devices and tasers with women in mind. The pink and purple backdrop is very stereotypical. What is /r/mensrights opinion on the subject?
