It all boils down to the fact that its popular belief that by naming and shaming these women, real women who have been raped are less likely to come forward for fear of being outed. Its crazy but for some reason its been accepted as fact. i think these women should be put in prison and named and shamed. I myself was raped by a past boyfriend and it boils my blood that people think a false accusation could be used as a weapon. I never reported it because i knew i'd get lost in the system of trying to prove it. these women are just hindering the justice of real victims and fuelling the fire that women are victims to the constant threat of men which seems to be portrayed in popular media. men didn't hurt me, a man hurt me.
