I know men have been and still are oppressed by females

It would go over better if you said "men are disadvantaged in some areas by society". It's an easier case to make.

Convincing people that men are disadvantaged in any way is hard enough, given decades of feminist propaganda to the contrary. You don't need the extra burden of showing that females are responsible for these disadvantages. It's enough to blame it on society.

also, to "hit home" look at the ways in which your school teaches about teen dating violence. o they do so at all? When they do so, do they talk about girls' violence against boys, or do they assume that it's always boys hurting girls?

Finally, how was this assignment assigned? Was it "punitive" in any way? Is it an essay about how you won't curse at someone ever ever again because you reeeeeeeeealy learned your lesson?

well to be honest i think its best advaqnce in the times i have been interested has been that is more known about. in a politically correct media the idea of mens problems was given a short shrift and was talked about occassionally, but only as a "see even the guys get this on occasion" it was seen as freakish and rare for a woman to be an abuser, or violent, or the person in control. but the issues we as men face are slowly coming to the fore. to be honest i don't know how much this helps because its pretty much all my own opinion
