Generally I'm pretty skeptical of anyone using evolutionary psychology in a gender argument, simply because you can take any argument and find something that sounds like it backs it up, you know "hogamus higamus" and all that shit (interestingly, if you google "hogamus higamus wikipedia, the first result is the page for doggerel). But this is the first use of evo-psych I've seen that's been appropriately applied.

I would have liked to see a bit more about how the term "patriarchy" has been applied as a blanket term for any gender inequity in the status quo.
