Brain sees men as whole, women as parts. Women are more likely to be picked apart by the brain and seen as parts rather than a whole, according to research published in the European Journal of Social Psychology. Men, on the other hand, are processed as a whole rather than the sum of their parts.

Looks like poor science to me. This thread from /r/Science talks about the flaws in methodology and problems with the conclusions. There is also a link to the study itself there for those wanting to read through the actual paper.

Predictably this is used to pretend that women are victimized by men. That's just the standard feminist tripe on any topic entirely regardless of the facts.

But what it's actually saying is that women have more going for them than just one thing, that women are seen as multi-faceted by the brain and men are not. In short it's men who are objectified as a single thing while women are seen as a complex sum of their various aspects.

They set out not to see how things are, but to prove an already decided ideological position.
